Error 9 during activation of ODS
Hi
I am getting following error when extraction into ODS.
<b>Communication error (RFC call) occurred
Activation of data records from ODS object ZOVDITM terminated
No confirmation for request ODSR_428KFN9XVIUPFYVNN319NAVF0 when activating the ODS object ZOVDITM
Request REQU_42EHNIWPEMDBCZS5QAFXK53F0 , data package 000001 incorrect with status 9
Inserted records 1- ; Changed records 1- ; Deleted
records 1- </b>
I saw one posting regarding this issue from Rohini. That is also very similar to my problem. I also checked in that table and found one record in status '9'.So i am not able to understand how to proceed. Should i change that status to 1..As i am in production server i need to be careful before deleting or changing somethings.

Hi Rakesh,
If the RFC error occured while the extraction...simply turne d the request status to Red in RSMO and delete the bad request in the ODS .Resubmitted the infopackage again.
If the RFC error occured while the Activation....repeat activation process once again.It will through

In Sm37 u can see the different options for background jobs, like Scheduled, released, ready,active, finished, canceled.. If u want to know the Status of the current running job, U just type the job name, user name then click execute(F8).

Its possible that the server can be down now. Have you ever used it before? If you want, try resseting the phone by just holding the sleep/wake key and the home button together for 10 seconds. Then wait 5 seconds when it turns off and press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. Then try it again. Let me know what the results are.

Hey!
I too was facing the same problem but have found a solution for it. The problem is most likely because of the 'Date & Time' setting. Change to setting to 'Set Automatically' and then try reconnecting to facetime/imessage.

An error occurred during activation
When I attempt to correct my Apple ID password, I get the message An error occurred during activation. Try again. This message makes no sense to me, as it replicates the error I see when I am in the Apple ID password screens and I see An unknown error has occurred. Could someone explain these error messages?

It sounds like you are unable to activate iMessage on your iPhone. Try signing out of your Apple ID, restart the device, then try again:
To sign out of your Apple ID
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out.
