Error 904 calling a db function

Hi to all,
On my DB I have written a security package with some procedures and functions.
In a php form, I need to use a method in order to validate 2 fields (username and password). In the code of my method I have entered:
sc_lookup(ds_users, "SELECT count(*) FROM cm_users_par
+WHERE UPPER(cm_username) = '{UPPER(fldUser)}'")+
+AND cm_password = CM_APPUSER_SECURITY.GET_HASH('{fldUser}', '{fldPassword}');+
The form return this error:
*ociexecute() [function.ociexecute]: ORA-00904: "CM_APPUSER_SECURITY"."GET_HASH": invalid identifier*
If I delete +AND cm_password = CM_APPUSER_SECURITY.GET_HASH('{fldUser}', '{fldPassword}')+ all *work fine*.
Please, can someone help me to correct the statement?
Thank You and Best Regards
Gaetano

Use SQL Developer or SQL*Plus and let us know the syntax of the statement that runs
successfully. Then we might be able to help.

  • Formal error: Invalid calling sequence for function modules

    Hi All,
    I have developed a function module for FQEVENT 620 Payment: Transfer Line Items for Clearing.
    The clearing works fine.
    After clearing the open items i need to post an FI-CA Document(BAPI : BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE) for each open item(cleared item)
    I have used the bapi : BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE in the same function module that i have developed for FQEVENT 620 Payment: Transfer Line Items for Clearing.Here i am getting an error "Formal error: Invalid calling sequence for function modules".
    So please let me know where i can use this bapi to post fi-ca document.Is there a BAdi or Enhancement Spot where i can use this BAPI or tell me what should i do to overcome this error.
    Regards
    Venkat

    Venkat:
    While I am confused about your business process - creating an open item when clearing one seems strange.  Look into event 0020 which is called after documents are posted - it may present the opportunity to post process additional documents.
    regards,
    bill.

  • Type Mismatch error while calling a Java Function from Visual Basic 6.0...

    Hi,
    I'm having a problem in calling the Java Applet's Function from Visual Basic. First, I'm getting the handle of the Java Applet and components of it using "Document.Applets(n)" which is a HTML function. I'm calling this function from Visual Basic. My code is something like this...
    ' // Web1 is IE Browser in my Form.
    Dim Ap,Comp
    Dim Bol as Boolean
    Bol = true
    Ap = Web1.Document.Applets(0).getWindow() ' \\ Gets the Parent Window.
    Ap.setTitle("My Java Applet") ' \\ Sets the Title of the window.
    msgbox Ap.getVisibility() ' \\ This will return a Java boolean ( true or false )
    Ap.setVisibility(Bol) ' \\ Function Syntax is : void setVisibility(boolean b)
    Here in my code , i'm able to call any function that which accepts Integer or String but not boolean. So, i m facing problem with Ap.setVisibility() function. It gives me a "Type mismatch error" while executing it. Can you please tell me a way to do this from Visual Basic !
    I'm using Visual Basic 6.0, Windows 2000 , J2SDK 1.4.2_05.
    Please help me Friends.

  • Error when calling a DLL function

    Hi,
    I am using external C++ code with labView. One of the DLL functions I use serves to call files. The directory and the name of the file is is passed as a parameter for this function. When the VI is running and arrives at this function (I use the Calling Library Function Node tool), the following message is displayed:

    I do not know why this message is sent to me.
    Thanks for your answer
    JF

    Hello,
    How are you passing the file path to the DLL -- are you passing it as a
    string?  If you are passing at as a string, I would do some basic
    console output to make sure that your DLL is receiving the file path
    corectly as a string and perform your appropriate C++ function in your
    DLL.  If the error is occuring with passing the file path you
    might want to check out the links below for a little more information

    That's a nice summary of this thread discussion, KJ. I hope other guys also start doing the same when their issue gets fixed.
    To add to above summary, if you want to call a procedure instead of a function, then you need to modify the line
    String sql = "begin :1 := package.function(:2,:3,:4); end;";
    to
    String sql = "begin package.procedure(:1,:2,:3); end;";
    In and out parameters can be as per the actual procedure.

    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) char* ESInitialize (TaggedData* argv, long argc);
    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) long ESGetVersion (void );
    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) void ESFreeMem (void* p);
    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) void ESTerminate (void );
    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) int AddNumbers(int a, int b);
    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) char* ESInitialize (TaggedData* argv, long argc)
    return "AddNumbers_dd";
    int AddNumbers(int a, int b)
    return a + b;
    long ESGetVersion (void){
    return 17;
    And the code that I wrote in javascript is:
    var obj = new ExternalObject("lib: mydll.dll");
    var x = obj.AddNumbers(10, 20);
    alert(x);
    The version of the library is correct, but when I try to use the function "AddNumbers" I receive this error "AddNumbers is not function".
    What would be the correct procedure to call a function inside a DLL?

  • Error when calling  external  DLL  function.

    When calling a function in Oracle, the error happens
    ORA-28575: '... error RPC connection to external procedures'
    code:
    create or replace library LibFunctions as 'c:\MyDLL.dll';
    grant all PRIVILEGES on LibFunctions to public;

    EXTERNAL LIBRARY LibFunctions
    NAME "Max"
    LANGUAGE C;
    grant all PRIVILEGES on Max to public;
    obs. Dll was created in Pascal.
    What can this error?

    It's been a while since I used extproc. Anyway, it listener.ora make sure extproc is added. I'll assume you are on Unix:
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
    (ENVS = "EXTPROC_DLLS=ANY,LD_LIBRARY_PATH=proper-directory-list")
    (ORACLE_HOME = path-to-oracle-home)
    (PROGRAM = extproc)
    ) SY.

    I know that this is not the right forum, but I'd like peoples' advice on which prep to use for a colonoscopy. The Fleet's Phosphosoda prep is more palatable, and easier and more convenient to take compared to the Colyte (gallon jug) prep, but on the other hand the Colyte prep is safer since it doesn't carry the risk of calcium phosphate precipitates forming in the kidneys potentially causing acute kidney failure, a rare but certainly serious complication. Many thanks in advance.

  • FOTY0001 Error while calling ref:populateXRefRow function in BPEL

    I am getting folowing error while invoking populateXRefRow function in BPEL.
    Expression is : ref:populateXRefRow("CustomerTable","SAP","SAP001","EBS","EBS_001","ADD")
    TableName - CustomerTable
    Column Names- SAP,EBS
    Already ran xreftables.sql script and bounced the server too but still getting the error.
    Any solution?
    Thanks in Advance

    HI
    Usage of variables in populateXref statements in BPEL assign activities as follows :
    For example, the following is not supported:
    xref:populateXRefRow("apps_intg","common","common-12345",bpws:getVariableData('Receive_Read_InputVariable','Root-Element','/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:appname'),bpws:getVariableData('Receive_Read_InputVariable','Root-Element','/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:id'),"ADD")
    The following is supported:
    xref:populateXRefRow("apps_intg","common","common-12345",string(bpws:getVariableData('Receive_Read_InputVariable','Root-Element','/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:Root
    -Element/ns3:appname')),string(bpws:getVariableData('Receive_Read_InputVariable','Root-Element','/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:Root-Element/ns3:id')),"ADD")
    Please enclose the bpws:getVariableData() with string() function as populateXRefRow() expects strings as its arguments.
    Hope this resolves and answers your question.
    Cheers
