Error "907 invalid COD" occurs when trying to upgrade my Blackberry App World.

Hi there. My name is Molopi Mashinini and I'm using a Blackberry Bold Touch 9900. My problem is that I'm struggling to upgrade my Blackberry App World, before it downloads the application, it gives me a message saying that there's a module that already exists on my phone and that its going to be replaced. When the downloading process get to the end at 3137kb, it gives me an error message that says 907 invalid COD. Now I don't know what to do because even the Blackberry Application icon doesn't give me an option to delete it. Please help me because I can't even download or upgrade the applications on my phone.

I'm still getting the same error message when I try to download the application and I still can't delete the application from my phone because it doesn't give me an option to delete it.
Yes, I think we've discussed that more than once.
timmyKLB wrote:
I tried all the step you gave me. Nothing seems to be working.
And I still cannot tell exactly what that means (refer to the first half of post 6 above).
timmyKLB wrote:
My main problem is that under the application list, I can't find the delete option for the application on the menu button.
Yes, we've discussed that as well a few times. Yet you have left me completely in the dark regarding how the use of the Desktop Software worked out.
timmyKLB wrote:
I'm even thinking of giving up because I followed all the steps but I just can't seem to delete the application.
That would be a choice only you can make. It would so greatly help me to help you if I could understand your situation better, most especially the precise results of the things I ask you to try. But, your responses continue to be so very general and vague, with multiple interpretations possible from your words, that I cannot understand how those things work out. Consequently, I am at a loss as to how to help you. I need to understand in order to help you, yet your words do not help me to understand, no matter how many times I seem to ask you for clarification. So I am even more lost than you are.

I have just been given a PlayBook and tried to download an App and ot this error, help, what can I do?
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
You need to set up a new BlackBerry ID on your PlayBook.
If you bring up the options screen, then you may be able change it in the BlackBerry I'd option pane.
If you don't have the option, you need to reset (wipe) the PlayBook. There's an option called security wipe. Follow it through, and once it has restarted you can create a new BlackBerryID and start from scratch.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Resend Service Books (pre-BB10 devices only)
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
    Good luck!

    Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.
+"Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding."+
    +"Cannot Get Mail+
+THe mail server is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings."+
Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.
Looks like I will have to revert back to old OS.

  • Help, download error "907 invalid COD"

Ok, my service provider is AT&T.  There technical support for any problem is to take the battery out and put it back in.  My original red curve had only one game I downloaded on it and I managed to drop it into my big cup of coffee, not my brightest of moments. Using my insurance, i received a new phone, when trying to download a jad file game from at&t i received an error "907 invalid COD". At&t could not find a soution. They stated it was a software issue and overnighted me a refurbished phone.  Unfortunatly I receive the same error messege and will have to call them again.  Does anyone know what the problem is in order for it to be an issue with 2 seperate phones and three different games??  In order to even try to redownload, the phone goes through the same purchasing process each time and bills my cell account.

  • Error code 23 when trying to upgrade???

Error code 23 when trying to upgrade/ also have lost wi-fi connection.  A coindence or related problem?

    Hi Dauby51,
You may need to uninstall and reinstall PSE 11, then reapply the updates.
Make sure you don't have any disk cleanup utilities that might be running during and after the install that may be altering any of the files installed or installation paths.
Give this a try and let me know how it goes,
    Regards,

  • I am getting "an unknown error has occurred" when trying to download any free apps from my brand new 4GS iPhone

I am getting "an unknown error has occurred" when trying to download any free apps from my brand new 4S iPhone.
    Please Help!!

I had the exact same problem.  Worked fine for a couple days then suddenly getting this error.  I fixed it, however.
    Do this:
Open the App Store app on your phone.
    Go to the "Featured" section.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on your Apple ID.
Screen pops up. Choose "Sign out".
Scroll to the bottom of the "Featured" section again.
    Sign back in.
    Try your download again.
This worked for me.  Good luck!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
