Error about docking station when booting but I do not have a docking station.
When I boot my Thinkpad T430S I get an error message from "Lenovo Settings Power" saying
"ocking Station AC Power Problem: AC power is detached from your docking station. For proper battery charging and docking station operation, connect the AC Adapter for the docking station".
I do not have a docking staion and the machine is new. Also, I notice that the little indicator on the battery icon in the notification area isn't coming on when I plug in the AC adapter but the batter is being charged. I have also noticed that the power setting is Windows isn't working like they should and the machine is put to sleep even when I tell it that it should never be. What could be wrong?
What is that fax message '''on'''? <br />Hard to understand how that is a Firefox support issue as Firefox doesn't have any fax capabilities.
Perchance, do you have an all-in-one printer which can receive a fax message? Printer, scanner, and fax machine combined.<br />
If so, try looking at your user manual for that all-in-one to learn how to print that message. Or consult with a support forum for that brand all-in-one printer.
Or maybe your problem is with the Windows 7 Fax and Scan feature? <br />

I want to add Narration to my movies. I've watched the Elements Guided Help for Narration, and closely followed their procedure. But when I click the RECORD tab, I get an error message. "Your current audio hardware selection dos not have any input channels." My question, therefore: Do I need to buy an external microphone? I have an HP Pavilion Laptop, running WIndows 8.1. Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware and ASIO tab and click on it.
Under the Input tab, make sure that you have your microphone selected.

My Ipod has an error code of 1604 when trying to restore. I have followed all recommended instructions...any ideas.??

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

You can't setup an iCloud account using a PC. You need a Mac, or an IOS device. You can sign into iCloud on your PC once you open an account.

I updated my ipad but when I went into dragonvale it no longer recognized me and made me create a new account. As a result I can no longer access my park. I have tried to go into the Game Center to restore my park but i do not have any options to restore my old login/ account. Any tips?

Originally I was having a problem with Firefox locking up everytime I went to a website and tried to X out of it, there would be no response. Or the little box would come up with the question on whether i wanted to Quit or close tabs, I would make my choice but nothing would happen. Then yesterday I couldnt open Firefox at all, so I tried to uninstall and also reinstall but keep getting the error message "Firefox must be closed to proceed, please close Firefox" But i do not have it running anywhere, it does show in my downloaded programes, but I cant do anything with it. I have the first generation of the silver macbook (with the black keyboard- before it went to macbook pro). I have been watching movies from my computer onto my TV via a HDMI cable. For awhile now I have been trying to get the sound from my computer to go onto my TV, but I do not have the option of HDMI on my computer. I was wondering if anyone knew why or what I do when I do not have that option. Thank you!
With the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody there is an adapter that uses the Mini DisplayPort and a USB port to combine video and audio to HDMI. It's only 2 channel stereo not 5.1 Dolby Surround.

If you connect the MacBook using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter you will probably need to use external speakers or a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to RCA sound plugs connected to a stereo sound system if your TV doesn't have separate RCA input plugs or a 3.5mm stereo input plug for audio with the HDMI plug. The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI doesn't carry audio unless you have the Mid 2010 model 7,1 and there're no audio plugs on most TVs to work with HDMI since it's expecting audio with the HDMI. -

I down loaded the update for 4 and when I get to the end where is you click finish, it tells me to close firefox, but I do not have it open. Now I can not get in to Firefox at all. PLEASE Help.

I didn't deactivate Adobe CS 3 Premium before I re-installed it on the same computer,
so when I tried to activate, it says the maximum number has been reached for licenses.
I read on your website the instructions for correcting this issue, but still do not have the deactivation option. So that I can reactivate it.

yesterday i connect my iPhone with iTunes then one MSG displayed on screen about backup i ignore that but same time i have lost all my installed apps incouled my pics and vids from my iPhone pls help me.
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

I backed my old iphone up to my computer and bought a new iphone. When i backed my new phone up I now I have an icloud photo (from my computer) album that I want to delete from my phone but I do not have the option. Please help.
If the album was synced to your phone from your computer, it can only be removed by sycing it off. To do this, deselect the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.

You will need to do scans with multiple and up to date tools.
Incidentally I would not suggest you try any manual hacks or edits of the Windows registry. (Once rogue files are removed any residual registry entry will not normally do any harm.)
If you need to find the profile you do not need Firefox open, and probably would normally not try to navigate to the profile with Firefox (although that may be done).

Distribute horizontally in light table shuffles pics
All pics are same height. I put them in sequence I want, align tops, then distribute horizontally...and they get shuffled in not particular order (that I can see). Have others had this problem? Is there a work around? Thanks
