Error accessing OAM Console

Hi
I have installed Oracle Access Manager with ofm_iam_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1of1
and created a OAM domain in WebLogic Server 10.3.5
I started Admin Server and Managed Server(oam_server1).
No errors while starting the servers.
Though I am unable to access OAM console. I could view the page but with an error msg.
It says Error System error. Please re-try your action. If you continue to get this error, please contact the Administrator.
Do I need to do any configurations for accessing OAM console.
Thanks,
Ram

Sorry It was my mistake
I was trying to access http://<server>:7001/oam
Now it works.
Thanks for the help.

    Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.3.3
    This problem can occur on any platform.
    Symptoms
    -- Problem Statement:
    After upgrading 10.1.3.1.0 SOA to 10.1.3.3 you're unable to access BPEL Console, and get the following exception :
    Exception Message: [java.lang.NoSuchMethodException] com.collaxa.cube.ejb.impl.FinderBean.tryLookupInstanceByReferenceId(java.lang.String,com.oracle.bpel.client.auth.DomainAuth)
    -- Steps To Reproduce:
    1. Upgrade 10.1.3.1.0 to 10.1.3.3
    Cause
    There has been a problem with the orabpel.ear file in some environments. The issue
    can be vefified by checking the size of the orabpel.ear files in the the following locations
    SOA_HOME\bpel\system\services\lib
    and
    SOA_HOME\j2ee\home\applications
    If only one of them is of size 2530260, then you have hit upon the cause for this issue in your environment.
    Solution
    -- To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
    Copy the orabpel.ear from SOA_HOME\bpel\system\services\lib (the one that is of size 2530260) to the location
    SOA_HOME\j2ee\home\applications (to replace the one that is not 2530260) and restart.

  • Deployment Error in OAM Console

    Hi team,
         I installed the oracle weblogic server 10.3.6,oracle access management 11g and also i create the rcu.After i starting the admin server and oam server all the applications are deployed successully but oamconsole application status is shown as failed.After that i found some of the link for running the  config security file.
    "E:\OracleFusion\Installation\oracleweblogic11g\oracle_common\common\bin\wlst.cmd E:\OracleFusion\Installation\oracleweblogic11g\Oracle_IDM1\common\tools\configureSecurityStore.py -d E:\OracleFusion\Installation\oracleweblogic11g\user_projects\domains\oam_domain -c IAM -p oracle -m create"
    After running the above command it shows the error as,
    Finally it shows the failed.I uninstall the weblogic server ,OAM,database and reinstalling the all.But it shows the same error.I refer many sites but i not able to find the exact solution.So please guide me.

    Hi sunshiva,
         Thank you for your reply.I have tried even after i upgrade the OPSS using psa command but it shows the same error.I am also refercing the above mentioned site but i got the same error.If you see the discussion in that site no one gave the correct answer for my error.If you know anything regarding please share me.

  • Access Manager console url

    I am accessing the oam console via its hostname:port/oamconsole and works fine.
    This is fine for internal access, but to access it from external network need to provide/publish
    a separate url.
    Where should one configure this externally published url to access oam console
    - on Load Balancer or OHS server?
    External network ---- Load Balancer ---- OHS server ------ OAM server
    OHS server with mod_wl_ohs pugin would act as reverse proxy for OAM server url?

    You could use either method. Note 1327863.1 gives details on using an OHS proxy (it also includes front-ending the OAM managed server urls in this way), and http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/install.1112/e27301/webgate10g.htm gives details on how to additionally protect the OHS proxy with a WebGate, if required.

    Hi,
    Another way to "find" the URL for the oamconsole, that I use if I'm not familiar with the configuration I'm working on is to first log into the Adminserver WL Console, then go to "Deployments".
    Then, find "oamconsole" in the Deployments listed (on the right).
    Click on that, then on the next page, look for the "Testing" tab. Click on the "Testing" tab, which which show the /oamconsole app.
    Click on the "+" to expand the tree, and you should see a bunch of different URLs on the right, e.g., if you have OAM console deployed to managed servers, etc., there'll be different URLs for those, etc., and you can just click on the links to open up OAM Console in your browser.

  • Getting error while opening Sun access manager console

    We are facing problem while accessing console of Sun Access Manager. We got No Page Found error whenever we try to access the Sun Access Manager console. We have tried restarting the directory server and web server but even that doesnt help us. Following are the error that gets recorded in log files:-
    ERROR: AuthD init() com.iplanet.dpro.session.SessionException: AuthD failed to get auth session
    ERROR: Error creating service session java.lang.NullPointerException

    The ns-slapd.exe process belongs to the Directory Server. You should therefore check if your DS instance is set up properly.

  • Error 404 while trying to access eas console

    We are getting error 404 all of a sudden when trying to access eas console. We have checked to make sure that all the services are up and running, and the port(10080) is up and running.
    We had a similar error with workspace a while back, and we had to modify port numbers on the mod_wl_ohs.conf file.
    But we find that the port numbers are unchanged this time in the conf file.
    Is there any other port we can use for eas console? http://<servername>:10080/easconsole/console.html
    All other services that sit on the same server work fine.(workspace, APS etc)
    Has anybody seen this kind of problem before?
    Thanks.

    If you are using 11.1.2 search for 404 in the EPM readme at: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/epm_1112000_readme.pdf
    What happens if if the install user logs into the machine and then out temp files in use by the application are removed; out of the box the user temp variables are used during deployment; there is a work-around to turn off terminal service feature to delete files on exist.
    In addition to confirming the service is up and running and the port answers you should review the syserror and sysout files which for 11.1.1.X are located in <HYPERION_INSTALL_DRIVE>\Hyperion\logs\services and in 11.1.2.X are located in <ORACLE_INSTALL_DRIVE>\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics\logs\services

    Hi all,

  • Error when trying to save/apply in OAM Console (credential store / wallet)

    So our Admin WLS had accidentally been started as root previously, so we restarted as oracle (after chown -R oracle:oinstall all files), and the Admin Server starts up ok. However, when attempting to save/apply a change within the OAM console, we receive the following error:

    We are using JBoss 3.2.5.
    Weirdly, last week a collegue of mine was able to save the registry changes. This week, both of us get the 'System error' when trying to save changes. Even using a default Administrator account, we were unable to save changes.
    Is there any other way apart from the LiveCycle web UI to change the registry settings without having to re-install the server? Where are these values stored?

  • Web Gate Prepare Error in OAM 10.1.4.3 installation

    Hi, all,
    I try to install OAM 10.1.4.3 in Windows XP.
    I follow the installation document, everything is fine until comes to Web Gate Prepare step:
    I try to "add new access gate" in access administration URL, and when click save, it reported: "Preferred HTTP Host must specify an existing host identifier variation, SERVER_NAME, or HOST_HTTP_HEADER". The problem is I have already set the Preferred HTTP Host to my OHS hostname and port, say, bcao-cn.cn.oracle.com:6666, but the error is still there.
    I use the OHS 11.1.1.3.
    I'm appreciated your help. Thanks.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
    Go to OAM Access Administration -> Access System Console -> Access System Configuration -> Host Identifiers , and add a new one:
    Name: yourWebHostName
    Hostname variations: yourWebHostName:yourWebPort
    Hope help.

  • HTTP 500 Internal Server Error for BPEL Console

    Hi,
    I am facing a issue like "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" while trying to access BPEL Console. We have not deployed any BPEL Portlets.
    when we face this issue we have to bounce the server for the console to come up.
    we are using SOA 10g (10.1.3.3.17).
    Database 11g.
    Please suggest how to trouble shoot the problem.
    Regards
    Surya

    We have established the reason for the HTTP 500 error. This is due to the fact the the oc4j_soa container is down.
    Now we need to understand why the oc4j_soa container is going down. You mention is goes down the same time every day. To me this sounds like there is some sort of background script running that, either crashes the instance or shuts it down, e.g. backup.
    Are you able to tell me what activity is happening during the time of the crash?
    Otherwise I really need to see the logs. I forget exactly where they are in 10g.
    something like
    {OracleHome}/bpel/domains/xxx/log {OracleHome}/j2ee/bpel/log {OracleHome}/opmn/logs
    there will be a file there with oc4j_soa in the name.
    cheers
    James

  • Remote Access Management Console - configuration issue with Network Location Server

    2012 Std R2
    The remote Access management console operation status shows  all green except for network location server .
    Error: There is no response from the network location server URL. DirectAccess connectivity might not work as expected, and DirectAccess clients located inside the corporate network might not be able to reach internal resources.
    Resolution listed as:
    1. Configure the network location server on a server that is highly available to clients on the internal network.
    2. If the network location server is running on the Remote Access server, ensure that IIS is running, and that the URL is available.
    The remote access server is located on this server. IIS is running. What URL: show I be looking at?
    Any other thoughts so I can get remote access working.
    l also am getting a remote access error for IPV6, could this be a cause:
    RoutingDomainID- {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}: Unable to add the interface {D37062B2-A3E0-4496-A459-9E0BBCE5423C} with the Router Manager for the IPV6 protocol. The following error occurred: Cannot complete this function.
    John Lenz

    Hi John,
    please follow the steps to reinstall TCP/IP stack.
    1.Restart your PC into Safe Mode with Networking.
    2.
    Edit your registry. Delete the following keys:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Winsock
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Winsock2
    3.
    Open the nettcpip.inf file in your %winroot%/inf folder
    (%winroot% is usually c:/windows).
    Find the [MS_TCPIP.PrimaryInstall] section. Change the Characteristics value from 0xA0 to 0x80.
    Open the properties of the network connection you want to fix. In the General tab, click on the Install button. Click on the Have Disk button, and point the location to %winroot%/inf. After that select TCP/IP (not version 6).
    4.
    Now you would notice that you can uninstall TCP/IP!
    Do that, then restart the PC.
    Go back to your network connection, and install TCP/IP again as per the above. After another reboot, you should be up and running.
    I also noted that the XP network repair tool may yank out the ISA 2004 firewall client stuff. Just run the firewall clinet repair or install it again to fix that problem after you did your reboot. Before you do this kind of crazy stuff.
    5.
    This along with a TCP/IP reset using the netsh command:
    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    wish you have a nice thanksgiving too
    Regards,
    Mike

  • Unable to access Admin Console

    Hi,
    I have installed Oracle Database11g and WebLogic 10.3.0 Application Server successfully in LINUX-64 bit environment. At the end of OIM server 9.1.0.1 it displays "The Oracle Identity Manager Application Server setup has some problem. Refer OIM_HOME/Xellerate/logs/setup_weblogic.log for information about the problem" in the console. So, when i able to access Admin console. It throws Error:404.
    Also setup_weblogic.log has the following error details
    BUILD FAILED

    Also nexaweb.war and xlWebApp.war is missing in Weblogic console page-> Deployment tab.
    I have reinstalled the weblogic and OIM again but still getting the same problem..
    Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Kathy
    did you setup ORACLE_HOME to weblogic_home, JAVA_HOME and added java to PATH. Also do you have any other ANT installed on your server.
    Have you checked the OIM certification matrix for the version of various components like OIM, Weblogic and Database.
    If you are sure that you did all this correctly, then perform the following:
    The nexaweb classloader error is seen at times prior to performing the post installation steps. Then make a backup of the weblogic domain directory and the <OIM_HOME> directory.
    1. Please continue and perform the postinstallation steps.
    2. Restart the server
    3. In the weblogic console, shcek to see that the xellerate and nexaweb applications have an "ok" status.
    4. If not:
    a. Please upload the oim server log.
    b. Using the WebLogic console undeploy all oim applications including, xellerate, nexaweb and, if there, XIMDD, and SPML.
    c. Delete the directory <OIM_HOME>/xellerate/webapp/precompiled
    d. Delete the xellerate.ear and Nexaweb.ear from the directory <OIM_HOME>/xellerate/OIMApplications (Note: do this on all nodes of the cluster)
    e. Delete the ant_backup.jar, optional_backup.jar and xercesImpl_backup.jar files from the OIM_HOME/xellerate/ant/lib directory.
    f. Delete the xellerate and Nexaweb directories from the BEA_HOME/user_projects/domains/DOMAIN_NAME/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user directory.
    g. Delete the xellerate and Nexaweb directories from the BEA_HOME/user_projects/domains/DOMAIN_NAME/servers/MANAGED_SERVER_NAME/tmp/_WL_user directory.
    Delete the xellerate and Nexaweb directories from the BEA_HOME/user_projects/domains/DOMAIN_NAME/servers/MANAGED_SERVER_NAME/stage directory.
    h. In the OIM_HOME/xellerate/setup/weblogic-setup.xml file:
    i. Search for the following element:
    <wldeploy action="deploy"
    source="${WL_APP_LOCATION}/OIMApplications/WL${application.filename}"
    name="Xellerate"
    user="${weblogic_login_user}"
    password="${weblogic_login_password}"
    verbose="true"
    adminurl="t3://${weblogic_server_target_url}:${weblogic_server_admin_port}"
    debug="${action.deploy.debug}"
    targets="${wl.deploy.target}" />
    ii. Add a timeout value of 5400 as shown:
    <wldeploy action="deploy"
    source="${WL_APP_LOCATION}/OIMApplications/WL${application.filename}"
    name="Xellerate"
    user="${weblogic_login_user}"
    password="${weblogic_login_password}"
    verbose="true"
    adminurl="t3://${weblogic_server_target_url}:${weblogic_server_admin_port}"
    debug="${action.deploy.debug}"
    targets="${wl.deploy.target}"
    timeout="5400" />
    i. Restart the WebLogic server and managed servers.
    j.Open a terminal session and export the the JAVA_HOME and PATH environment variables.
    k. In the same terminal session, change to the directory <OIM_HOME>/xellerate/setup
    l. Run "patch_weblogic.sh"
    This should reinstall that xellerate applications on WebLogic.
    Hope this helps.
