Error Activating the ODS data

Hi Guys,
I am facing an error while activating the data in the ODS.
The data is loading perfectly fine but when activating the ODS data the following error is coming
Request REQU_3ZI9CZ369HR6SM49OL9ULRVKM, data package 000031 incorrect with status 5 in rsodsacstreq
System error occurred (RFC call)
No confirmation for request ODSR_3ZI9DUVOMM02L1I777X5YX9QU when activating the ODS object PA_ODS1
There is no PSA for InfoSource 8PA_OA001 and source system BWPCLNT641 ( The data laod is without PSA )
This is happening after we had a BWQ refresh .
I thought this has something to do with the BASIS guys but they say they checked everything.

Hi Sidhu,
There were red requests in the ODS but I deleted them and tried activating the green requests , even when there are only 4 records it is not activating the data.
I checked the RESREQDONE table but I dont see these requests in there.
I checked the SM58 there I saw a lot of errors

one line in that is this . can u throw some thought on this. when I try to execute this LUW it says that function module RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED doesnot exist or exception raised message. I got these yesterday but today I got only one and when I executed that LUW it gave me the same message but that error message is not showing now

Please help me out,
I am facing one problem while activating the ODS of 0FIGL. Data is uploaded successfully into the ODS but while activeting the ODS, it gives the following error message :

I have also read out all the related post & also applied them in this but still the position is same.
also in RSKC, all the characters are allowed.

Hi Rakesh
The error message
"Key value exists in duplicate (not allowed by the ODS object type)" in the snap you sent, means you set the ODS for unique records. Thats why its not allowing a second with the same value, which is already in the ODS.
Please check your ODS settings, if 'Unique Data Records' is checked or not.

Error in Activation of ODS Data

I am getting this error msg while activating ODS Data, It says its not able to execute one of this statements while activation
Program Name: GPBUJ6PU7X5TA8TLJSDOPVSU2Z7
The program terminates at this line
Types corresponding to Change-Log-structure
l_s_chgdata TYPE /BIC/B0000103000,
The DDIC does not have an table name by /BIC/B0000103000 which the program is trying to refer, Kindly do provide me your help and input on this.

Thnx for your reply, I did as suggested by you, activated the ODS and update rules again but it was not able to activate the data again I ran the RSRV as suggested by you i got an list of errors
Test for Activation Program
Active generated load program not available
Activation Program is not Current
Lines in temporary program: l_s_chgdata TYPE /BIC/B0000103000
Activation program has to be generated again
I ran the correct error but not to any avail, could you kindly guide me on this, I was previously loading data to this ODS successfully from a 300 client now I am trying to do this from an 400 client and I am facing this error.

SM37 is mainly for monitoring the back ground jobs...... both in R/3 side and BW side this is same.. just for monitoring the background jobs... fisrt by using SM36 basis people will schedule in background.. and we just identify.. which are completed and which are not completed... in SM37.
there are various status they are
PLANNED
RELEASED
CANCELLED
ACTIVE
FINISHED
READY

In Sm37 u can see the different options for background jobs, like Scheduled, released, ready,active, finished, canceled.. If u want to know the Status of the current running job, U just type the job name, user name then click execute(F8).

Hi Vikram,
Check data in Data Package 24,25 and 26 there is error in some of the data. this u will find Details tab.
Delete the request from the ODS and
then EDIT the data in PSA and load the data in the ODS again.
then Activate it.
Then it wont fail.....prior to these find the records for which the activation is failing....so that u can edit in PSA.

I solved the problem. AFter changing from PSA to IDOC, i just saved first and activated. it got activated. But thanks for the response.

Im finding a similar issue but with task SDE_ORA_GLJournals,
the code is :
AND DECODE(, 'Y', GL.LEDGER_ID, 1) IN ()
AND DECODE(, 'Y', GL.LEDGER_CATEGORY_CODE, 'NONE') IN ()]
the parameters are also fine in the parameters file.
Has anyone found a solution or an explanation for this?

SAP BIW 3.0B, Getting error in RSA1 " Error activating the ddic "

IN RSA1 after creation of info source to the master data,when assigning the data source and selecting the Tranasfer Method as "PSA", Iam getting the following error.
"Error activating the ddic" . The log has the following comments "Table /BIC/B0000104000 must be created in the database"
The error message displayed is
Activation of stgructure /BIC/B0000104000 in the dictionary failed
Message No: RSAR695
Please can some one help me in solving this problem.

sorry, you may be wrong in the forum as this is a BW/DDIC related question/problem.
suggestion:
you try se11 with the table name and try to create it.
if it does not help you: it is time to file a message in service.sap.com/message.

Today i stumbled upon the "Error #1107 The ABC data is
corrupt, attempt to read out of bounds."
I googled the problem, but the only suggested workaroud (foud
in the bugbase - https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/ASC-2289) was
not applicable to my case. The problem was reproduceable with Flex
3.2 and Flex 4 SDKs.
However, commenting out parts of my code, i found out that
the problem was causing my set of test data, which was
syntactically correct, but very very large (static const Array with
34611 objects to be precise). I deleted half of the test objects
and the error was gone.

I have a problem activating the ODS. When I try activate I getting the following dump:
"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_SDB_ORA_PROGRAM_ERROR"
"CL_SDB_ORA_UPDATE_STATS=======CP" or "CL_SDB_ORA_UPDATE_STATS=======CM00I"
"UPDATE_STATS"
Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming that you are using BI 7.0 Please check the support package you are using in the status. If you are below Sp 10 then you need to import support package 10
Please go thru sap note Note 975948 - No update statistics for newly created tables.
The Support Package is available once Note 914304 "SAPBINews BI 7.0 Support Package 10.

Data Laoded successfully, giving error while activating the ODS

Hi,
Process Chain is running daily for loading and activating the data into the ODS.
Today the data loaded successfully but the data is not getting activation. I then tried to activate the data manually but still it not trying to get activated.
I check it the Status tab, it is also giving the same Procedure to activate the data manually.
I checked in the Details Tab. It is displaying Errors as :
1. Error getting SID for ODS.
2. Task 0049 for parallel SID assignments terminated with errors.
3. Activation of data records from ODS terminated.
4. System error occured (RFC call)
Please any one help in this issue.

Hi,
This is probably because you loaded transaction data before master data and tried activating it.Load the relevant master data, perform the change run and retrigger activation.
It should work.
Else there is a workaround. You can try editing out/blanking out those values in PSA and loading and activating. This will work.
Also try repairing the ODS object in RSRV.
When you activate multiple requests tick the activate serially check box.

DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL Error while activating the ODS Object

Hello BW Friends,
We have used the Extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR and enhanced and coded the user exit to extract the data to the required field. Extractor is working fine and able to get the records but when we tried to schedule a data load in BW the request was shown green in the ODS and when saw it in monitor it is still yellow and zero in PSA and the processing hasn't completed. When i tried to activate it manually there is a short dump generated with this error, DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL. If any one of you has encountered same problem please let us know. Appreciate your prompt response on this.

I misunderstood your question.... check whether source system job is processing or not? what about any blocked TRFC'sin SM58.
try to find root cause... ODS activation is not a problem... load is not finished you tried to acivate the request still in the process Yellow.
try to check in Monitor details tab page messages...

Error in Data activation for ODS data load

We were succesfully loading data (delta load) so far for a CRM ODS. Suddenly, yesterday we are getting am error while trying to activate the data. - "No data packet numbers could be determined for request REQU_48C2T4S91I6GSJ4FNUE727M1Y- Message no. RSAODS119".
We could not even see the data in PSA.
Any clues why this would have happened? tRFC issue?

Hi,
What happens is data packets gets distributed across different Instances/Application Servers.
To distribute users equally on SAP Instances check SMLG Transaction and to distribute RFCs equally on SAP Instances check transaction RZ12
To assign specific BW Instance enter the instance in target system settings. In different source systems different fixed target instances can be assigned.
Check Transaction RSCUSTA2 for load balancing for activation of ODS Object data.
