rI have recently replaced my older version of Adobe Digital Editions with version 4.0. I've been able to migrate the older titles, but I have problems opening .acsm files as .epub titles in Digital Editions. I keep getting the Error! Activation failed message. Help!

Has anyone encountered this erro before while using query Designer. I am trying to drag an infoobject in the rows section and I get this STOP error in message section at the bottom.

An error occurred in the back end for which there is no error message. You cannot continue to work.
Procedure
Exit the Query Designer and correct the error on the back end.
Then start the query designer again.

There may be some problems with the connectivity in the box which you have logged in or in the excel properties itself. Try to login again and see if the problem is resolved else contact the BASIS or admin.

I found some steps to help resolve the "Activation: failed" error messsage you are getting on your Apple TV:
Restart your base station or router. Sometimes this is done by turning the router off for a few seconds, and then on again, but check the documentation provided by the manufacturer.
To restart your Apple TV, press and hold Menu and Menu down/scroll ( - ) for about 6 seconds and then choose Restart from the menu.
If the issue continues after restarting, reset your router or base station and Apple TV to factory settings
Reset your base station or router. Use the documentation provided by the manufacturer to reset to factory settings.
To reset your Apple TV perform a factory restore.

I think the "," that comes in the flat file. CHange the number fields in the file from ",". If it has 1000 separator remove them. You need not have them in the file. In your case i think the decimals are coming as ",". In that case change your user settings for decimal places and then try to load.

While check in an activity got activation failed error

Hi All
When i clicked an activity and select Check in option it shows the Activation window .Then when i clicked on Activate button i am getting Activation failed error.Below is the error message:

Just check the full hostname of your DTR server, should be like
hostname.company.com
and check if somewhere only
hostname
is being used.and both are getting successfully pinged. DO not try the NWDS ping. Use command prompt and
ping hostname
and
ping hostname.company.com
Also this happens due to some clash with some other developer. Please check after some time, may be after a desktop restart. things should start working.

Activation failed: CBS Server Error

Hi,
We have done the activation and transportation many times before. But now we hit this error when trying to activate:
Activation failed: CBS Server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server( internal code: COMMUNICATION_ERROR).
At the WebGui -> CBS -> Activities, if we want to view or search any activities, we will see the error like this:
Communication Exception Occured. Contact System Administrator.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Email has stopped working and cannot be re-setup; 'Activation failed' and 'Security of the connection cannot be verified' errors

The blackberry stopped receiving email as of Dec 22. it does reeive Registration messages from blackberry. The browser still works. I contacted the provider and the network is functioning correctly. I have deleted the email setup several times and set it up again; I have removed the battery and restarted and reset up the email. This involves a hotmail.ca account. During email setup it checks for update and indicates the mailbox is set up and then it wants to reconcile contacts and that is when the Activation Failed; an error was encountered when sending the activation transmission notice appears. When I use the browser to go to hotmail.ca and login, I can see all my email up to date and then an error message pops up indicating, Server Certificate Warning and when I select Details; it inidcaes untrusted certificate; unable to determine certificate's origin; when I view the certificate it identifies X h.live.com Untrusted Certificate Chain; Stale Chain Status etc... It's like the hotmail.ca or live.com is corrupted...how do I fix it. The only thing I have not doe is to use the Security tool to Wipe email. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Activation failed: CBS Server Error...Please help

Hello All,
I get this error while activating a DC/activity:
Activation failed: CBS Server Error: The user does not have the authorization for the requested operation( internal code: USR_MISSING_PRIVILEGE)
I have setup the required User Privileges as mentioned in help.sap site
Plus, I have also checked the NWDI.Developer role & it has all the foll actions, namely:
1. CBS.Developer
2. CBS.Display
3. CMS.Export
4. LcrInstanceWriterNR
Please guide...
Am working on EP7 SR2 (SPS 9) and am into NWDI.Developer group.
Please guide.

Quand j'installe Labview, à la fin de l'installation, j'obtiens le message d'erreur suivant :
"error 2 failed to perform action labview license activation"
Et quand j'essaye d'ouvrir Labview par lasuite j'obtiens ce message :
"Il se peut que l'installation de cette application soit corrompue. Essayer de réparer ce programme en utilisant la fonctionnnalité Ajout/Suppression de programmes du panneau de configuration Windows"
Seulement Labview n'apparait pas dans cette liste de programmes...
J'ai un numéro de série pour une licence étudiante que je rentre durant l'installation.
Merci de m'aider si quelqu'un a une solution.

As-tu déjà retenté une réinstallation de LabVIEW ? L'erreur fait référence à une corruption d'installation.
Je te propose donc de désinstaller/nettoyer manuellement LAbVIEW ou en utilisant un "cleaner" type Windows Installer Cleanup Utility et de procéder ensuite à une réinstallation du logiciel.

Ensure that you select version '10.1.0.0.0' from the 'Select a Release' drop-down when downloading the opatch
please check whether you have read me file in the patch directory or not
if you have any pre requisite to perform please do it

Class activation failed Error when trying to activate the enhancement

Hi ,
Wheni try to activate the enhancement for the component BP_HEAD_SEARCH view SEARCHHELP
i get the following error message Class activation failed Message no. BL001
the error occurs in implementation class , as wizard is adding some junk code.
Is there other way to work on it .

The method WD_CREATE_CONTEXT in your Z-class has two ENDMETHOD. lines, one before and one after the wizard-implementation "ztyped_context ?= context." Just delete the first ENDMETHOD. line and activate the class, should work fine.

I just purchased the Office 365 bundle from Costco and I am using the various office products to do some work. I keep getting a request to activate the software, but when I try I receive the following error message: "activation failed with
the following error: 0xC004B011"
How do I activate the software and fix the issue? It also hows "The activation server determined that your computer clock time is not correct. You must correct your clock before you can activate." What time zone do I need to be set
to activate the software?

I had this issue and fixed it:
Just click the clock, and choose Change Date & time settings > Date and Time > Internet Time > click Change Settings > and finally click UPDATE TIME. I changed the server to time.windows.com and that's
it. It took me two attempts at clicking update time and it then said time updated successfully. Activation works fine afterwards.
