Error adding an item

Hi,
Receiving this error creating an item but can't see what is exactly missing - I have looked at the warehouse codes and accounting g/l determination codes and have set them all.
No expense account has been defined for the item [Items - Warehouse - Expense Account] , '01 -Test item' [Message 173-4]

Hi,
There are over 100 threads with 173 error messages discussed before. However, none of them with the same sub error as -4.
If you are sure you have defined Items - Warehouse - Expense Account under G/L determination, this could be a bug.
What is your B1 version and PL?

Dear SDN members,
I have a requirement of adding new sub item (LIPS-UEPOS) for a main item during changing of outbound delivery VL02N .I am using idoc type WHSCON/DELVRY05. I am passing LIPS-UEPOS(say 10) in segment E1EDL24-HIPOS and also matnr , posnr( say 40) in other item fields.
I am getting error when adding the sub item in main item.( Item 40 does not exist)
Additional information .I am passing below qualifier.
E1EDL18- qualifier -CHG
E1EDL19 qualifier -CRE

Error adding an item to Digital Editions

I am running Digital editions version 1.7.1.1085 on Windows 7 Professional. I also have the same version of Digital Editions on my old laptop running Windows XP. I can access my book on the old laptop using Digital Editions. When I try to add the book to my Digital Editions on the Windows 7 computer I get this message:
Cisco_Unity_Deployment_and_.PDF:
This document cannot be opened on this machine. Please contact the site where you obtained the document to download another copy.
I don't remember where I bought the book so I cannot download another copy.
Is there another way around this problem?

It probably has something to do wit the kind of HU that you are using.
If you call a " where used " of the error message HUFUNCTIONS 261 you will see that there are several checks concerning the kind of HU.
The types of HU's can be found in domain VPOBJ.

CCM - Error Adding Catalog Items Approver

i'm working with CCM 2.0 on SRM 5.5, and i'm facing the following problem:
when i try to add an approver for master catalog clicking on "add new approver" button,
il Assigned Approvers an empty row (only date field is filled).
If i try to insert a User ID in "User Name" field and save the data, the following error appears:

Here's the answer.
In SE80, choose Class/Interface /CCM/CL_BSP_SCHEMA_MODEL, then under Atrribute double click GT_ASSIGNED_APPROVER. Then on the Attributes tab untick the read only flag for attribute GT_ASSIGNED_APPROVER for associated type /CCM/T_APPROVER .

Error while adding a item

Hi All
When I am adding a item in master data then error occurred "variation for price list and price list for items" and finally i could'nt add item. So please solve it if you have any solution regarding it.

Error while Editing Item - After importing pagegroup

Hi All,
We have Oracle Application server 10g (10.1.2) with Oracle Portal 10.1.2.0.0. as a test environment in win 2000 server.
We installed a new Oracle Application server 10g (10.1.2) (production) with 10.1.2.0.2 in Suse Linux Enterprise server 9. every thing was fine.
We have migrated one simple page group from source(win) to a new Portal in Linux ( by following the steps of Portal export / import Doc.). This is by exporting transport set, dmp file in source side and importing dmp file and transport set on the target. The import was successful. I checked the Navigator and found the imported page Group. Also all the sub pages and items have been found with proper regions.
But when i'm trying to edit any item,region or adding region,item, it shows the following error. -----------------------
ERROR :General invalidation message processing exception: User-Defined Exception (WWC-40018)

Note:Please kindly note that our repository and portal midtier on same machine. So there is no firewall between portal and repository. Also there is no proxy settings given in Portal. Moreover, I reinitialized the webcache invalidator password in both web cache admin and Portal. Nothing is working.
Please kindly help me in this regard urgently. and provide me the solution along with the navigation details.

Using Bapi_salesorder_change adding a item, deleting a item,Quanty change

I need help on Bapi_salesorder_change.
I have a table control in which there will be data of a particular sales document no, items, quantity, sales unit. When user changes the quantity, or adds a line item or deletes a line item and the press the save button bapi_salesorder_change should trigger and should change the order as the user changes.
Can u help how to write code for this three conditions
1> adding line item.
2> deleting a line item.
3> changing the quantity.

Issues in IDoc Sender Scenario:IDoc with errors added

Hi all
Am working on an IDoc to JDBC scenario. In R/3 system, I have created distribution model, partner profile, RFC destination and port.The IDoc is generated and is sent to XI successfully. But in XI , there is no entry in SXI_MONITOR for this (unfortunately IDX5 is not available in the XI server! ;as of now). Instead an entry is made in WE05 and WE02 with stautus 56(IDoc with errors added). In the status record:
status 56 : External segment name E2KOMG003 cannot be interpreted
status 60 : Basic IDoc type COND_A03 could not be found.
And the segments displayed in data record are different from the segments in the data record of the IDoc generated at R/3. (say for E1KOMG at R/3, E2KOMG003 in XI).Earlier the flow was working fine and the DB table was updated successfully. And the entire stuff is believed to be 'unmodified' .
Would any one help in resolving the issue.

How to create new subsite while adding new item to the list by using javascript?

Is your item getting added through Javascript client object model ? If yes, you can write in the success delegate of your list creation method the logic to create the subsite.

Error Message "This Item has not been purchased"

I just bought a brand new computer with Windows 7 and I just downloaded Itunes. I couldn't remember my itunes password so I changed my password. After changing my password, I changed my Email address since I was using an old one I don't have access to anymore. After doing that I started trying to get my old purchases put on my new computer and maybe 40 songs downloaded before I got an error saying "This item has not been purchased with your Apple ID". These songs are listed in my purchased list, I bought them on my old computer and Itunes isn't letting me download nearly 300 songs that I paid for.
How do I fix this?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Error adding buffer entry when using Asynchronous mode of JRA and JCO call

Enviroment: XMII 12.1.4 / CE EhP1 SP03
When I using SAP JRA Function Call or SAP JCO Funciton Call in transaction, it works well when I choose 'Process Type' as 'Synchronous processing' in 'Data Buffering Configuration' tab. But when I use 'Asynchronouse processing' it doesn't work.
I check the Netweaver logs, there some logs like following:

Couldn't add buffer entry (com.sap.xmii.dataqueue.DataBufferManager)

CCM related - error while deleting item from supplier catalog

Hi experts,
I am using CCM 1.0 SP5 and the format of file uploading is in .xls. I am trying to delete one item with deletion indicator 'X' in excel file. Item is present in Supplier catalog. Still while going to delete the item, in the display log it is showing error as:
"Catalog item VZ312-5MD4E80865694B29B66E2C7CEA4A4D4E4E not found" and "Error when deleting catalog item VZ312-5MD4E80865694B29B66E2C7CEA4A4D4E4E". Though i checked the item is present in the supplier catalog. replaced the item in excel with the existing in CCM, still the same error is coming.
Please give your suggestions. I am not getting any solution.

Getting error message : the item Itunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly. I get this either using the start menu or the desktop shortcut. I tried going to programs /itunes and repair.

I think it is some sort of permissions issue preventing the installer from updating the shortcuts. Is your account an administrator of the machine? If it is and you still have the problem then you may need to explicitly use the "Administrator" account for the install.

Multiple Error message at Item Level....

Hi all,
I have some doubt into display multiple error message from item level.
The scenario is, I have to run some validation at each line item. If validation fails error message is population. Now suppose user ignore the error message or with that error user creating new line item and again because of validation some error occurs, then both error message should display all together but system is displaying only last message not previous one. This is happening with both the classes CL_BSP_WD_MESSAGE_SERVICE' and CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT.
But if I check same thing with standard validation all error message display all together.
Any suggestion through which I can combined all message and display together.

I keep getting the iTunes error message "the item selected is not available in the UK store" how do i fix this please ?

I keep getting the error message " The item selected is not available in the UK store" and i am not able to do anything else with iTunes, any idea how i fix this as it appears to now be restricting my account access across the Mac Book, iPad, iPhone and Mac Mini in the house ?
