Error! Adding fields to the field catalog

Dear Sap Support,
I just added to the field catalog the field "Short Text" which stands for product description. The thing is that this field was needed in the tab "Discount" of the Marketing Planner.
This field was then added to the table CUS_002 (usage PR), and table CUS_003 (usage FG)
After that change, when I go to the marketing planner and try to insert a new condition, the program throws an error just right after a choose the product to be discounted. The error says: "FIELD_CHECK/DEFAULT_VALUE_SUGGESTION for BAdI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME for filter COMT_PRSHTEXTX is missing"
Where can I find that Badi? and how does it have to be implemented?

when you are using Fieldcatalog merge you have to avoid using the TYPES Declaration of the internal table.
Instead of that you can do this

Error in field catalog in ALV grid display using classes at do_sum = "X'.

I'm using classes in ALV Grid display.
the code for the field catalog is going to dump because of the statement in the field catalog for field 'netwr',do_sum = 'X'.
that do_sum = 'X' is not working and going to dump when executed.with out that do_sum it is working fine. the error in dump analysys is showing sap standard incude LSLVCF01.

I'm having trouble after editing in PS where my photo are not added back to the current catalog

I like to use the "Edit in" Photoshop feature of Lightroom, but after moving to CC...My photos after saving them after correcting in PS are not returned into the catatlog. I've been having to importment the edited photo back into lightroom from the finder folder..I remember prior to CC my photos whould return to the strip with Edit.tiff, not any more..?

Reset your preferences file: Resetting (or 'Trashing') the Lightroom Preferences file - Lightroom Forums

in alv grid display ,cant we use REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE if the o/p internal table is formed by joining 2 or more tables.

Field catalog does not agree with the fields of the functional area

G'day everyone,
I am using a generic extractor via infoset to extract data from R/3 source system.
Using RSA3, I have obtained an error message and no further details.
****ERROR MESSAGE
"Field catalog does not agree with the fields of the functional area
Message no. RSUQ134
****ERROR MESSAGE
I have checked and adjusted my infoset in SQ02 and they seems fine but still obtain the same error.
In BW, replicated the datasource and activate the transfer rules but still obtain the same error.
Anyone knows how to get more details for this type of error? Or how to fix this problem?

I think I have just solved it.
Transaction RS02 delete and recreate after checking the structure in BW and Source system are the same.

Issues in IDoc Sender Scenario:IDoc with errors added

Hi all
Am working on an IDoc to JDBC scenario. In R/3 system, I have created distribution model, partner profile, RFC destination and port.The IDoc is generated and is sent to XI successfully. But in XI , there is no entry in SXI_MONITOR for this (unfortunately IDX5 is not available in the XI server! ;as of now). Instead an entry is made in WE05 and WE02 with stautus 56(IDoc with errors added). In the status record:
status 56 : External segment name E2KOMG003 cannot be interpreted
status 60 : Basic IDoc type COND_A03 could not be found.
And the segments displayed in data record are different from the segments in the data record of the IDoc generated at R/3. (say for E1KOMG at R/3, E2KOMG003 in XI).Earlier the flow was working fine and the DB table was updated successfully. And the entire stuff is believed to be 'unmodified' .
Would any one help in resolving the issue.

Error when trying to manage Discoverer Catalog

Hi!
I've installed Oracle 10g Business Intelligence on a Windows 2000 server. Using the Enterprise Manager, I was also able to create the Discoverer Catalog (D4OSYS schema). But, whenever I try to "Login to Manage Discoverer Catalog", I get the following error:
Error - oracle.dss.d4o.administration.D4OConnectionException-D4O-1103 Error while connecting to the Discoverer Catalog.
Now, I'm 100% sure that the login credentials are correct. Any searches for this error (on OTN or Google) come up with nothing. Can someone please explain to me what is going on? I get the feeling that this is a bug of some kind. If so, are any patches available?
Must say, my confidence in Oracle's new web-based Enterprise Managers are dropping by the minute. Found some nasty bugs in the Database Enterprise Manager with regards to Dimension and Cube creation. Does anybody else have the same experiences?

Newly-added field missing in the field catalog for NR00

I am about to creat condition record for condition type NR00 free goods . I need to make some customizing to meet our requirement .So I changed the field catalog for the condition table by adding a new field BWAST (purchasing document type) . After that I am going to creat a new condition table 501 with this newly-added field ,but I can't find the field in the right part for field catalog .
Can you give me some advice ? Thank you in advance.

Error in updating ALV field catalog in selection tool for Planning Book

Hi ,
I am Implementing BADI '/SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR' to upload Custom Fields Data in Planning Book Selection Window under APO Location Product. These Custom Fields are maintained in Custom Table.So from Table whatever Custom Fields are availabe all the fields needs to be available in for selection. Once selection is done the same data to be uploaded into Planning Book.
This BADI is working Fine upto 4 fields but if any extra fields are added in the table 'Error in updating ALV field catalog in selection tool' error Pop Up is coming. Here i am using Folloowing Methods
1). INIT_OBJECT_LIST
2). F4
3). LOC_PROD_VALUE_LIST
Please help on the same if u have any idea or clue.

Adding z field to field catalog

Hi,
For doing material determination i wanted to add a new field ( a " Z " field ) and construct the access sequence and generate the fields. For this I added this " Zxyz " field into KOMPD structure.
But while constructing the access sequence i get an error saying
" Select a doucument field for zxyz ".
What I can do.

Hope you must have followed these steps:
1. Added the z-field in the structure KOMPD via t-code se11/se84.
The field been added is 'Maintain in Original Language'
The dummy entry was removed and the structure is activated.
2. Made changes in the appropriate user-exit, in the program FV45PF0K_KOMKD_KOMPD_FUELLEN
[USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMPD(SAPMV45A)
After the changes activated the program.
3. Add the z-field to the field Catalog for Material Determination.
4. create the condition table with validity period 'X' and generate
5. Create the access sequence already described in the previous post
6. Define condition type and assign the access sequence
7. Create Procedure
8. And finally assign the procedure to the sales document.
Check the initial 4 steps.
Also, can you let us know the exact error message and the t-code where you are getting the same.

After filling the selection variant, the system shows the following error:

I would like to use the /SAPAPO/TSKEYFMAIN transaction to check massively the values in the time series KFs and not just the consistency of them.
So do you know any other transaction to do it or do you have an idea about the error of /SAPAPO/TSKEYFMAIN?

Adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity )in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

We are adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity ) in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL ( Work Center View from PP/PP-PI )
The field GAMNG is available in the communication structure maintainace.
The problem is- We are not able to drag & drap field GAMNG from the Communication structure LBWE. Getting the error - End phase 002 ***********************************************************
Message no. D0322 ..
We deleted Setup table , Meins field already exist in comm str.
1. How we able to drag the field from the communication structure as getting the above error. We searched SDN & try to follow that method but not working.
2. We can add the field in SE11 - Structure -Manually, then we have to write ABAP code.
Kindly suggest correct answer.

Hi,
There could be a number of reasons why you are getting the error:
1. Fields are not assigned to datatypes.
- Check structure in SE11 and assign to datatypes.
2. There are inactive appends in the extract structure.
- Double-click one of the includes. You will get a new screen with the INCLUDE structure. Click the button append-structure. Check if the append is inactive.
3. The appended structure is in a different development class from the one of the structure it is being appended to.
Please review and apply the following notes carefully :
766603 Activation problems with extract structures
623411 LBWE: Gener. terminates with D0 322 (end phase 002)
757923 LBWE: Generation terminates with D0 322 (end phase
600708 D0 322: End phase 002
It is not possible to enhance the datasource 2lis_04_MATNR with the field GAMNG (so its possible that its the same for 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL) because GAMNG has the reference field AMEIN, which has a STATE F (forbidden) in table TMCEXCFS .
Check to see if this is the same on your system.
