Error after Save Plan Data in Planning Modeler

I'm working  with IP NW 7  SP16.
Scenario:
I added a KF to Real Time Cube. Re-activated this cube and Multiprovider.
Made corresponding changes in Aggregate, re-activated.
All these objects look OK.
Planning functions work fine. However then I SAVE Planning Data in Planning Modeler (Planning Sequence) I get an error:
An exception occurred that was not caught., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
The OSS Note 1057548 refers to SP 15 ( I'm on SP16).
I guess something nedd to be regenerated. I ran RSPLR_GENREP_DELETE_ALL with FUNC1
but it didn't make any difference probably because the Planning Funcitons work OK.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
could you also regenerate the artificial queries MULT/!!MULT where MULT is the name of your Multi-/Infoprovider/AggLevel in transaction RSRT.
Hope this helps ...

  • Error after deploying vShield Data Security

    After i installed vShield Data Security still have the status "Not installed" in vshield manager, i can see that the VM is up but i don't know why vshield manager don't see it when i tried to install it again i have the following error:
    vShield Data Security installation encountered error while installing service VM:Internal server error: Host is not prepared

    Hi,
         Always try to start with Uninstall option(clicking the “Uninstall” button).Irrespective of the results please do follow below steps.
    1)Remove the vmservice-vswitch that was created during the install (assuming there is no other device that uses this vswitch). This is a service vSwitch with no physical adapters that was created during the install. This will have 2 port groups, one called vmservice-vmknic-pg and the other vmservice-vsheild-pg.
    2)Remove the 169.x.x.x address given to the Net.DVFilterBindIpAddress property for the host.  Select the ESX host on the left hand side tree, on the right hand pane select the Configuration tab and click on Advanced Settings under Software. In the Advaced Settings page look for the Net section and select it. Scroll all the way down and then make your way up until you find Net.DVFilterBindIpAddress = 169.254.1.1. Remove the 169.254.1.1 and click OK
    3)Either reboot the VCNS appliance or
               Go into the vShield Manager console/SSH and restart the web-manager component:
                Manager#no web-manager
                 Manager#web-manager

  • Time Machine error after restoring all data

    Sorry, I've tried to run through various trouble shooting guides on Time Machine (notably here http://pondini.org/TM/C4.html etc) but haven't been able to work out a solution.
    I just had my iMac harddrive replaced and earlier did a full restore of the harddrive from my Time Machine backup drive.
    Time Machine, rather than deleting the old backups on the disk, is now giving me the error message
    "This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 564.63 GB but only 521.89 GB are available."
    I backed up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I just upgraded to Mountain Lion 10.8.3 because there were a couple of comments online that suggested that might help resolve the problem (unfortunately it didn't)
    It seems from articles I've read that this is a known issue that occassonally happens when a full restore happens and Time Machine can't associate the new harddrive with the old backups.
    One solution seems to be to use disk utility to reformat the external harddrive and start again, but that seems slightly like using a sledgehammer to smash a nut. Is there a less dramatic solution? Is there a easy way to just associate the two drives with one another again?
    Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer, and apologies if I've missed a relevant/ helpful thread somewhere else on the board.

  • Error in planning modeler

    Hi All,
    While creating filters in planning modeler ,I am getting an error saying that  'Syntax error in program SAPLXRSR  ., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE ' . I am using planning modeler through remote connection. can any one provide  reason and solution for this error?
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi Reshma,
    the "program" SAPLXRSR includes several user exits. Please take a look at the dump in the back end and check your user exits.
    - EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001
    - EXIT_SAPMRSRU_001
    - EXIT_SAPLRRS2_001
    - EXIT_SAPLRSBBS_001
    - EXIT_SAPMRSRU_999
    - EXIT_SAPLRSBBS_002
    - EXIT_SAPLRSSBR_001
    One of them seems to have a syntax error. Could you check this?

  • Error in planning modeller in EP

    Hi all,
    When i login through Enterprise Portal in BW 7.0 Server(i.e)., Netweaver 2004s, i tried to enter Planning MOdeller. I am getting error when i click Planning Modeller to work.
    please treat this as urgent issue and revert back to me if u solution for this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Mohankumar.G

    Hi Mohan,
    Where are you having this issue? is it upon starting the app or during a sequesnce of operations. Ideally, you should have created RFC connection for the application to work.
    you can go to the web dynpro administrator and navigate to the Planning modeler application. On selecting it, you will see which RFC connections need to be maintained for this app. Create and test them. This should resolve initial issues.
    Also, the backend user should have the necessary authorisations.
    regards,

  • Authorization to save plan data

    Hi Expert,
    I have one requirement where in I need to give authorization to user to save plan data.
    currently we have designed & built role based authorisation. e.g. specific country user with specific role will access particular report & save plan data thorugh input ready queries.
    We are able to save plan data as our role has authorisation as " 0BI_ALL". But we want user should have restricted authorization.
    Kindly suggest the standard authorization available to save plan data.
    Thanks,

  • [BIACM0085] Error executing load plan after reverting from LDAP to original security mechanism in BIA 11.1.1.7.1

    We have tried to change authenticaion of BI Apps 11.1.1.7.1 to LDAP, but reverted this due to some other issues. Now we are back with standard authentication, and all functionality seems to work fine, except execution of a load plan.
    When we select (any) plan that was executed earlier, we get an error:

    According to one of our WLS gurus there is a mismatch between consumer and provider of a web service with a security policy, but we cannot find any difference between a working and this failing environment.
    We already started a trace in WLS, but this does not help us further.
    Any hints on troubleshooting steps or even better resolution are more than welcome, as this is blocking a new full load and further tests.

  • How to calculate and save planning data in bex input-ready query using keyfigures for calculation from different infoproviders

    Hi Dear All,
    We have two real time infocubes and two aggregation levels based on these cubes in one multiprovider
    first cube1 is like
    char1| char2| keyfig_coefficient(single value for each combination of char1 and char2)
    same aggregation level1
    (we have input query to fill coefficients by one responsible user)
    second cube2 is like
    char1| char2| keyfig_quantity| keyfig_result
    same aggregation level2
    Input ready query should be like (for all other users of different org units)
    char1|char2|keyfig_coeff| keyfig_quant(for input) | keyfig_result = keyfig_coeff*keyfig_quant(calculated value, should be saved to cube2)
    And we don't have pregenerated lines in cube2, users have to add new lines themselves by wad.
    Question is, what is the optimal (easiest) way to make calculation and save result data to cube2 where keyfigures for calculation should be used from different infoproviders. I need just a hint.
    Appreciate any help.
    Nadya.

    I found decision, agregation levels sould be based on multiprovider, not included.

  • Can't save plan data

    I have created a BPS application which called a characteristic Rel of type Exit.  My user exit is reading information from the level and is populating my layout based on what information it finds there.  My user exit is working correctly, however, I am not able to save any data.  I can see the data via listcube but just not in the layout. Please help.
    This is my code:
    create data lr_data like line of eth_chas.
      assign lr_data->* to <ls_data>.
    read table ito_chasel into charSelLine with key CHANM  = 'ZHIEID'.
      read table charSelLine-T_CHARNG into rangeLine index 1.
       hieid = rangeLine-low.
      read table ito_chasel into charSelLine with key CHANM  = 'G_SUBCATS'.
      read table charSelLine-T_CHARNG into rangeLine index 1.
       hlevel = rangeLine-low.
         case hlevel.
           when '101'.
             flag = 12.
           when '102'.
             flag = 11.
           when '103'.
             flag = 10.
           when '104'.
             flag = 9.
           when '105'.
             flag = 8.
           when '181'.
             flag = 7.
         endcase.
       select  * from /BIC/HG_SUBBRND into corresponding fields of table COMBOS
            where hieid = hieid and parentid = flag.
      assign component 'G_SUBBRND' of structure <ls_data> to <g_subbrnd>.
      loop at combos into customer.
        <g_subbrnd> = customer-NODENAME.
        insert <ls_data> into table eth_chas.
      endloop.
    endfunction.

    Nyrvole,
    I believe it has do with the infoobject settings of the Target Characteristic.  If you have checked the target char as "Attribute Only" in the general tab of the other characteristic then you will have this problem.  So remove the attribute check in the target char and then you should be fine.  Ofcourse maintain the attribute char in the main characteristic.
    Also read the online help below :
    InfoObject is Exclusively an Attribute (Not Used in ICs)
    If you set the attribute only indicator for a characteristic, it can only be used as a display attribute for another characteristic and not as a navigation attribute.
    In addition, the characteristic cannot be included in InfoCubes.
    It can be used in DataStore objects, InfoSets and characteristics as InfoProviders. In this InfoProvider, the characteristic is not visible during read access (for example, at runtime). This means that it is not available in the query. If the InfoProvider is being used as the source of a transformation or DTP, the characteristic is not visible.
    Hope this helps...

  • Invalid value for variable 0calyear in planning modeller

    Hi Experts,
    I have an urgent requirement. In my planning modeller I have a variable for 0calyear for accepting current year and target year. If I give target year(for example, 2015) which is not present in 0calyear it is showing error that 2015 is an invalid value for 0calyear. If I give 2012 it is working fine because it is already present in 0calyear.
    I would like to know how we can solve this issue. To forecast data anyway we have to enter a future year. I would really appreciate if anyone could give some information to solve the issue.
    Thanking you,
    Jerry.

    Hi Jerry,
    Just a thought.
    Can you load a flat file data with year values into a DSO with 0CALYEAR as key? ( SID generation as active ).
    What I am expecting is this flat file load will generate SIDs for 0CALYEAR in future year as well.
    Subsequently if you try to enter that in your planning variable it should work.
    I understand this is not a perfect solution. But want you to try and adopt if this is a reasonable work around.
    Thanks,
    Krishnan

  • Error while saving planning function in IP

    Hello All,
       I have a problem while creating a FOX function in IP. When I save it, I get an error "RFCSave: An exception occurred that was not caught., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE".
       The strange thing is that, when there is any syntax error in the FOX code, it gets saved; but as soon as I remove all the errors, I get this message on pressing the save button in the planning modeler.
        I never faced this problem before. Can anybody suggest something?
    Regards,
    Mayank

    Just for information; this was a bug. We raised an OSS case and got the solution (to apply few OSS notes). We are on Support Package 10. It seems this issue does not occur on Support Package 11.
