Error after Validation on Key_generation

After installation of BO Data Services (12.1) I get errors each time that the Validation all is processed on a workflow that includes a dataflow with Key Generation. From the Key_generation error screen the Key generation seems empty, but when the key generation is opened from the data flow then the key generation looks good. By closing the key generation the data flow is saved and the error is gone when the validation is started again.
After closing the Data Services designer and reopening the same flow and again process the validation all the same error occurs.
Is there a solutuon available?
We run Data Integrator XI 3.0 Professional and with version 12.1.1.0

In a job with more workflows and more dataflows I have deleted the key-generation step and added the key-generation again. This data flow is saved and the validate all is then ok no errors on the new created key-gen step.
After closing and re-opening the BO Data service designer and validation of the same job the dataflow with the newly saved key-generation is giving and error again.
Even when the key-gen step is saved with a different name the error occurs after closing and re-opening designer.
It seems that the new or changed key-generation after closing the designer is lost or not rightly recalculated.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me and many others. Tech support returned most of my money but not all of it. Figure that one out! It is clear no music is downloaded (or in queue), it is clear an unknown error message is produced, and it is clear we, the consumer, are still being charged anyway. Will Apple require a credit card from its customers and alienate those that do not wish to use a credit card? Will Apple insult its customers and make silly suggestions such as 'Use an iTunes gift card' in much the same way a forum moderator has already recommended?
I have an idea: Acknowledge the problem publicly (via email, for example) and fix it in a future update. Customers will be more understanding if they know there is a temporary problem and Apple is working hard to fix it. Oh, and return our money, please!

Validation Errors after placing Fireworks html - ?

I search for an explanation and hope this has not been beaten enough already BUTI ask for some help.
It was pointed out to me that a site I have been updating has 21 errors after looking at The W3C Validation as I peruse the perhaps embarrisingly long list - I note that all but a few are due to errors in my placed fireworks html - used for menus etc.

An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one element).

"Easier" doesn't always mean "better". If you take a look at the code you've supplied, you'll see that this is being caused by the inclusion of spacer gifs - which also means a table based layout as well - again, not best practices. The source code on the sample site you've provided is quite bloated for just that top menu and a great deal of that code is just for spacer gifs to hold the table open.
If you're builidng sites professionally I'd recommend learning how to do things in a best practices manner and generally that means using an unordered list along with CSS for styling the navigation. You'll waste more time trying to fix the FW menus than you will learning to do things in a best practices manner. Way less code and a much more accessible menu. It's not that hard; I can get students creating CSS menus in under 3 hours when they've never done it before. If you're looking for easy without digging into the code yourself, consider commercial options such as the huge variety of CSS-based menus found at projectseven.com. They're well made, accessible and plug into Dreamweaver.
If it's just a hobby, then don't worry about it. As long as it works, you're fine.

No Hard Drive Or Volume Icon In Powerbook G4 Firewire (aluminium) Disk Utilities: Reads Error: No Valid Packages (-9997)

Whilst performing a zero/erase install on my Powerbook G4 Firewire (aluminium) with an OSX Tiger install disk (Tiger was the OSX i had erased), I had to force quite the installer as it appeared to be stuck on the Chinese script install section. I crashed the Powerbook down using the power button method. Now, when i power up the computer, it stays on the grey screen and just beeps at me. If i insert the install disks (both OSX Tiger or the original Powerbook Panther ones) there is no volume found during the install process. In disk utilities no hard drive icon or volumes appear in the left hand list, just 2 headings regarding the OSX install disk. I have clicked 'Verify Disk Permissions' on these headings and receive this message in the action box: Error: No Valid Packages (-9997). All other options in disk utilities are not available to use (partitions section etc), as there is no hard drive recognized to perform anything on. I presume my erase install has wiped out my previous OSX Tiger without installing some essential on the Powerbook (receipts perhaps?). My Powerbook was working 100% before this install attempt. It's a very lightly used machine with no noises/whirrs coming from the hard drive that would suggest failure of some kind. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have run the Hardware Test as supplied with the Powerbooks install disks and everything has passed. I presume i can put my mind at rest about it being a problem in any of those departments. I have been browsing for a couple of weeks now and think my problem could be a loss in receipts/permissions somewhere. I remember looking for a lost file awhile back using a hard drive search programme through Terminal. It filled my hard drive almost to the maximum with unwanted retrieved files, it took me hours to erase all this again (never found the document i was looking for either). Perhaps a receipt was erased/trashed at this time?. Sometime later (prob weeks) i performed a fresh OSX install to give me an uncluttered faster running machine (I do this once a year). I zero erased the hard drive (including free space) and it was during this install that i had to force quit. It seemed to be stuck loading the Chinese Script so i had no option. After this the problem as described above has been persistent. Is there a way to restore receipts/permissions through Terminal or something like that?. Or maybe a procedure that one has to do when installing a new hard drive?. A step by step guide from someone would be a real help as i am not really confident using these advanced procedures.

Error No Valid Packages

Ok so this is the story. Backed up my iMac with a new 1 TB drive using Time Machine. All fine. Took about an hour but seems fine simple as anything. Firewire 800 very rapid.
Decided to do the same with my Macbook this cant be difficult Im telling myself... good one.
Ok so using a USB external drive I started backing up the Macbook. (I must say here that the drive wasnt empty it had some stuff on it already) I figured this was ok but now Im beginning to think otherwise. After about 45GB the backup starts to freeze. I left it an hour but then it just wouldnt do anything. In hindsight me deciding to stop the backup was probably a bad thing at this point but after I stopped it the macbook froze.
I had to reboot... wont reboot... just sits there spinning and the apple icon.
Rebooted from the disc and disc utility and ran permissions I get the message Error No Valid Packages.
At this point Im seeing just over 100 GB in use, and 200 free.. so I know my stuffs there but I just cant get it to boot OSX.
For reference its Snow Leopard. Please help!!!

Try running Disk Repair from the Install DVD. Sounds like you may have some HD corruption. Alternately, you could try booting while holding Shift. This will put you in SafeBoot. If you can boot here, backup your important files!

For that I got one SAP Note 144253.

Error - A valid installer could not be found, using AAMEE and CS6

I receive the error - A valid installer could not be found, when using AAMEE 3.0 to create a CS6 Trial Package in Windows 7. I'm following the procedure documented here - http://blogs.adobe.com/oobe/tag/cs6 Imaging CS6-Attack of the Clones. I've tried both pointing at the DVD and pointing to a local folder, after copying the DVD to a local folder and copying the \payloads folder from the second DVD. I know the DVD is valid because I did a manual installation. I'm pointing at the folder that contains the Set-up.exe file, plus I've tried pointing at every other folder as well, with no success. I have a 40 user license for CS6 Master Collection for a classroom on our campus. I need to create a image for this classroom, and was thrilled that a solution was being provided to accomodate this, but AAMEE does not work! I'm working in a Windows 7 environment.
On top of this frustration, my Adobe ID is not working, I've used "chat" support and phone support and I can still not log in. They claim it has been escalated. When I explained the AAMEE error to the phone support rep, he informed me that there was no technical support and my only option was to post the question on the forum...but you have to log in with your Adobe ID to post a question! Round and round it goes. So I had to create another ID under a different email, just to post my question. I'm getting the mystery "an error has occurred, please try again", when I try to log in with my work Adobe ID.
Help! Anyone?

RESOLVED - Thanks in part to the ALBERT-in-Vancouver and Tushar Bammi thread concerning a similar problem. I dissected the PDApp.log. I had copied the installation DVDs to a local folder per the Deployment Guide, when installing from the DVD initially failed. But, PDApp.log stated - EnterpriseNativeApplet Individual media disks on fixed volumes are not supported, please use CD/DVD or mounted ISO/DMG media. That clued me in to trying to create the MSI using the DVDs again. My fault - that the original attempts to create the MSI from the DVDs did not work, I didn't realize I needed to run AAMEE with elevated privileges. Note - the earlier attempts when I was running AAMEE with elevated privileges and pointing to the locally copied installation files, failed. Interesting. I'm confused as to why the Deployment Guide directed my to create a product-install folder...
I haven't tested the MSI file yet, but if I have additional problems I will start a new thread.

DVD Player installation error A valid DVD drive could not be found. [-70012]

My iMac has an external "superdrive" and I can't play files .dvdmedia. On opening the DVD Player I get this message: There was installation error A valid DVD drive could not be found. [-70012]
This sent an error message to Apple when I click the OK button.
I have tried to relinstall the DVD player.app from the SnowLeopard disc, but this app was not on the list for custom install. I have repaired permissions, no help! I have shut down and waited several minutes and restarted, no help.

My continued frustration with this problem lead me to an archived discussion https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2020977?start=0&tstart=0 This lead me to beleive I need to use the reset password to fully repair my permissions as contained there. Also while booted in the install disc, I performed a Repair Disc on the StartUp disc.
After all this, when I restarted, the DVD Player was able to play DVDmedia files completely.
So I quess I solved my own problem.

CA.GThe FFP packages are fastformula packages that were invalidated after running the HRGLOBAL driver and will compile normally with adadmin
as for the remaining formulas they will not compile with adadmin for some reason, and you have to open each package and re-compile the packages it refferences even if they are valid.

despite that the solution in the doc id above talks only about ENGFDECN but it applies to all other packages. I've faced the same issue and now I have ZERO invalid packages, it will take sometime but it's worth a while.

Hello guys, I am using the installer to install OBIEE 11.1.7.0 on my machine. When I get to step 6, I receive the error messages below:
INST-08010: Error in validating the port range for auto port allocation. At least 2 ports should be free within the range 7000-7500 for the Adminserver and Adminserver SSL.
Ensure that a minimum of 2 ports are free within the range 7000-7500 for auto port allocation to work correctly for the Adminserver and Adminserver SSL.

In setDomainEnv.sh set debugFlag=false or you can just remove it.
NodeManager is a charm after that. it can take any number of ports.

How Do I get error in validator

I have several validators. When you do something invalid, it highlights the field and has a message displayed if you position to that field. I understand that you can include an error object in the validator that will cause a popup window with the error.
1) how do you do that?
2) can the window's text be sizable?
3) do I need multiple validators or can I use one and if so how would I change the message to reflect the field being checked?

I tried it and got this error:

I added the error after this ran so the numbers would be off a little, but I'm sure you will understand.

Error in validation of Date Field

Hi Experts,
For my date field i assigned validation and is working properly.I could pop up the error message also.But my issue is, the entered wrong data is not getting deleted or cleared from the date field after validation.
How i can clear the wrong data entered in field automatically?

Can we use validate event for the same? Ideally it should cancel teh submit of the form.
I am a using SAP Adobe Interactive forms using transaction SFP in ABAP Workbench and am trying to check the possible ways to apply validations (client side validations) to the form data. These forms are expected to get called from HCM Processes and Forms processes.
