Error al exportar a epub desde indesing

Hola, buenas tardes tengo un pequeño problemilla. Al exportar a epub desde indesign cuando tengo la tabla de contenido activa, siempre me sale un error, que luego al validar el epub da error, aunque se vea bien en distintos dispositivos.
Adjunto un pantallazo con el error.

La actualización 6.03 se refiere, obviamente, a InDesign CS4 que es el programa que utilizas para colocar en las páginas maestras archivos EPS generados en Photoshop, no? InDesign CS4 es la versión 6, al igual que Photoshop CS4 es la v. 11.
Para que quede bien claro te estoy aconsejando que en Photoshop guardes los archivos como PDF en lugar de como EPS.
A continuación coloca esos archivos en los documentos de InDesign de la misma forma que hacías hasta ahora con los EPS.
Prueba entonces a exportar a PDF y comprueba directamente en el PDF (esa es una de sus ventajas) como se mantiene la calidad de los elementos vectoriales, y si la calidad se conserva en todas las páginas. No tienes que esperar a la imprenta para comprobar los resultados.

Error while making an epub from InDesign CS4

I'm trying to make an epub from a book pallette in InDesign CS4. I get this error message:
Could not find required entry in archive: OEBPS/\QBones%20cover%2015%20ePub%202.xhtml|\
so the document won't open in Stanza. Although it will in Adobe Digital Editions and in calibre.
Any body get this error message? Am I clicking a wrong button somewhere, or is there something wrong with my file?
I'm also having trouble getting the export settings right for the type, and still need to learn how to build the table of contents.

I am having the exact same problem. When exporting a book from CS4 only the TOC and the first Chapter or section export correctly. Inside the epub file everything seems configured correctly but all the chapter or sections after the first are xhtml files without any content, just the initial structure of an ordinary xhtml file.
Anyone have any answers to this? If we can't get the export from book option working it basically makes InDesign useless for Epubbing things. Which makes me think this isn't a common problem or if it is there is a solution.
Help!
Oh, and I am using the ME edition of CS4 in case that matters, though I don't see that it should.

Style source document error when exporting to EPUB

Hey everyone,
I have searched for this error with no luck, so I am hopeful someone here can help. I'm trying to export a book from CS5.5 to EPUB, but I keept getting this error: "Style source document in book is missing." This is not true, the style source document is most definitely not missing. I have tried restarting numerous times and changing the style source document to another chapter, but nothing works.
If it makes a difference, this book was built in CS3 and converted to 5.5.

If you are able to export as sections it's almost certainly not actually a problem with the image, but a problem of not enough system resources to finish the job. This is not uncommon with large complex PDF exports.
Try rebooting, then immediately open ID and try the export again first thing. If it works, great. If not, you can combine your sections into a single PDF in Acrobat Pro.

Pues sí, estoy usando Flash 8 y Premiere Pro 2.0, pero
falla al exportar
el alfa. Desde After Effects 7.0 lo hace bien pero no da las
opciones de
recorte que necesito y que sí proporciona el Adobe Media
Encoder llamado
desde Premiere Pro 2.0.

"an unknown error occurred" while producing epub in Mac Apple Pages (yosemite)

Apple Pages throws an entirely meaningless error when trying to produce an epub from iMac Apple Pages.
If I save the Pages as a Doc, open the Doc file and Export to epub it works, BUT... I loose things like header tags so can't convert to mobi and have chapters show up correctly. I've tried manually changing the mobi file, but it's a nasty, long winded process with mixed results. It would be nice if the old process simply worked.
If I select all and copy/paste from one pages file to a brand new pages file, I still get the error. This is stupidly frustrating and a complete waste of my time. The whole reason I switched from Windows to Mac was because I was sick and tired of these antics by Microsoft. Apple LIFT YOUR **** GAME!!!
This used to work perfectly fine before Yosemite screwed things up. Seriously, Apple, test your **** software before dumping it on us. At the very least, give us a meaningful message so we can do something about fixing things.
Anyone with any ideas?

I am getting this error whilst attempting to move NEF (Nikon RAW files) either between folders on the same hard-drive or between hard-drives (which are incorporated into my Lightroom catalogue).
Whenever I receive this error, a strange (locked) file appears in the directory/folder to which I intended to move the file and on examining this file in the terminal I can see that it contains the following error message: "cannot execute binary file...logout". The filename of this strange file is usually very random such as 470F00FF-9FBC-4517-84BF-26E52251B2B9-449-0000020C6A4DD5FD
I do not have any problems with missing sidecars and always select "save metadata to files" before attempting to move the files...can anyone figure this out?

Tenemos un reporte del DIOT (DECLARACIÓN INFORMATIVA PARA OPERACIONES CON TERCEROS), como nuevo requerimiento se desea agregar un botón que exporte este archivo a formato .txt con el mismo formato que se requiere para subirlo al SAT, es decir con las columnas que ellos ya definen y separados por el símbolo pipe |
Alguna idea de como puedo hacerlo, tengo SAP Crystal Reports 2011.

Desde crystal reports difícilmente podrás hacerlo.
Te recomiendo crear un procedimiento almacenado utilizando la utilidad BCP para crear un archivo de texto con tu formato deseado.

Archivo pdf desde indesing (No modificable)

Hola, tengo un archivo pdf procedente de in desing, que de nuevo me gustaria retocar en in desing. Cuando intento abrir el programa me informa que necesito un complemento necesario para trabajar el archivo, el trabajo no esta acabado y me gustaria acabarlo.

InDesign no puede abrir y editar el contenido de un PDF, creado o no en InDesign.
Esto lo puedes comprobar en el menú de Archivo>Abrir, abajo a la derecha de la ventana de nombre de un archivo aparecen los formatos o clases de archivo que se pueden abrir.
Un PDF es un formato final. Tampoco Word, p. ej., puede editar un PDF.
Acrobat Pro si puede efectuar pequeños cambios en un archivo PDF. Ten en cuenta, de todos modos, que tienes que dispoder de las tipografías originales instaladas en tu sistema.
Si lo que quieres es crear un documento nuevo en InDesign que incluya los contenidos del PDF e intente mantener el diseño o maquetación de las páginas, tienes que utilizar un programa que convierte, con bastante aproximación, un PDF en un archivo InDesign:

137 ITMS ERRORS IN MY EPUB!!!

Ok guys, I know that this question had been poped up probably a thousand times but I really need your help !
Apple just relased a new version of iTunes Producer (3.0) and I had great expecations about an easier sending process for e-books but it is actually worth.
I am FRENCH and I just created a free lanced e-book support. I have been helping more than 250 indies and small editing companies (mostly in Europe), my business is growing up every month but, this time time, I am serioulsy thinking of asking my customers to avoid Apple and give it up with the iBook Store.
I know that we are far from the US but in Europe, an area of almost 500 millions of inhabitants and potential customers, there are a lot of people who don't speak English at all and I let you imagine how many frustrations Apple is creating with its products which are more and more complicated to use... (sorry, I am getting angry)
All of this to tell you that there are more than 100 ITMS errors in an Epub of one of my customers and I really don't know how to deal with that.
The Epub is legitimate, I made it with Sigil, there are no photos inside it except for the cover (in the right dimensions (1400 x 2087 e.i)).
Can anybody tell me in English how to solve this ?

I assume you have already gotten answers, however, since there's no reply, here is mine, in case this helps someone else:
Your epub is not valid. Sigil is a great tool, but you cannot rely on its internal validator. Download a copy of Pagina or use one of the online 3rd party validators. The language, by the way, is mostly not Apple's (The 9000 bit is and the image size error is) Most of it is straight from the ePub validation tool language, which is annoying as heck, but actually does tell you exactly what is wrong. Figuring out to fix it is another issue.
1.   ERROR ITMS-9000: "Images larger than 3,200,000 pixels are not allowed in books. The following images are too large: /OEBPS/Images/Cover
This one is easy. Your image is too reported as too big, so I would double check that your image is the size you say. Try sizing your interior image down a bit and confirm that the documented height x width is a value less than 3.2 million.
2.OEBPS/Text/Section0009.xhtml(11): attribute "clear" not allowed here; expected attribute "class", "id", "style" or "title". This error occurs 17 times."
You probably have an html error, probably underneath the body tag -- likely an unclosed tag and most of your errors are cascading from there. The fact that some of the errors reference "coords" makes me think your error starts with with an image, and further than you may have had a file that poorly converted to html. This is common when someone uses Calibre to convert a file to ePub, so start with the file that contains your cover.
One other possibility is that the problem is with your stylesheet. Confirm that your stylesheet does not have a typo in it. I have seen two instances where the epub, for reasons that mystify me, was unable to parse the stylesheet, even after I confirmed that the stylesheet was parseable in a normal html editor. As I recall, I had to unzip the file, manually replace the stylesheet, and rezip THEN open it in Sigil.
Because of your "coordinates" language, I think your cover page is poorly converted from your source file. I suggest you replace the html with something like this:

* Remove the id= in the div if you are not using an internal html toc. If you are, replace it with whatever Id you are using for the cover.
* Where the class "covercontainer" in your css file looks something like this (I have found that the iPad centering issues go away when all margins are explicitly set)

As an aside: NEVER allow Sigil to automatically repair errors. It will make a huge mess that will be more work to fix than tracking down the unclosed tag.
I suspect the rest of the "not allowed" errors are cascading from your first error, and that you let Sigil automatically fix things. You'll need to start over as your file by now is likely hours of work to repair.
3. incomplete; missing required elements "dc:language" and "dc:title""
     Your content.opf is missing at least two required tags.
Add this to your opf (assuming I have correctly derived the title of your book and assuming the language is French):

I have really two errors when validating my ePub that I converted using InDesign CC. I am using Dreamweaver to edit it into a read-along eBook.
The first error is
ERROR: epub9.epub: OPS/XHTML file OEBPS/j83643-Flower-Fairy_-epubBody-10.xhtml is missing. The document isn't missing and I don't know how to find th OPS /XHTML to fix it.
My second error is making me crazy. I have fixed all the errors in my smil files 3 times. I save it using Dreamweaver and the errors come back. I have saved the files as ..smil in the hxtml choice.and in the all files choice. I can't find a choice for smil.
I could use some help this is very frustrating.

Problemas con InDesing cs

tengo un problema con InDesing cs,lo estoy instalando en un sistema panther 10.3.3 y necesito mandar impresiones a un rip,ya cargue el ppd de la impresora y lo ve pero no lo activa por lo que al mandar a impresion saca un error,el problema al parecer es solo cuando mando desde InDesing cs 3.0 ya que mando de page maker 7,photoshop e illustrator sin ningun problema,ojala me pudieran ayudar ya no se que hacer,gracias

Hola. Primero que todo dos recomendaciones. La próxima ocación abre un tema nuevo, no entierres tu pregunta en temas viejos y en los foros no se acostumbra a responder a los correos personales, para eso estan los foros para recibir las respuestas en el, asi otras personas que tengan un problema similar, también lo puedan leer.
En cuento a tu problema: En Indesign desde su primera versión hasta la CS1 había que comprar el plugin para compaginar, el más sencillo es el InBooklet, el CS2 y CS3 ya lo trae inserto.
Te recomiendo te subas de versión de CS, ya sea al CS2 o mucho mejor y claro esta a la CS3 que es la última.
Anteriormente podiamos bajar una versión de prueba del plugin del Inbooklet, pero Alap que es la empresa que lo fabrica, fue comprada en su totalidad por Quark la competencia directa de Indesign y obviamente ya no estará más para Indesign, existen otros plugins como el impositon Pro o el Creo Preps que es un programa no un plugin para la imposición de cualquier tipo de archivos.

Problema al hacer un epub en cs5

Hola, estoy haciendo un epub desde indesign CS5 y unas veces sale bien y otras veces sin tocar nada del archivo que antes salía bien, el epub sale mal, muy MAL. El texto sin estilos, pierde todo, cursivas, negritas, alineación...
El caso es que reiniciando el ordenador vuelvo a hacer el epub y sale bien. Intento hacer otro y mal...
He desinstalado toda la suite CS5 y la vuelvo a instalar y nada, sigue saliendo mal.
¿alguna sugerencia?

Mucho mejor tener todo el formato aplicado mediante estilos.
No obstante, como supongo que ya sabrás, en el momento de exportar para Epub tienes la opción de "conservar cambios locales", por si acaso algo se te escapa.
