First check to see if Quicktime works normally, iTunes will not work without it.
If Quicktime is OK, then use this troubleshooting article:
XP version

If Quicktime does not work, describe what happens with any error message in full.
Have you installed any of the following:
ACE & K-Lite mega codecs package, QT alternative, Storm codec, WinAVI video converter, Mpcstar, (possibly starcodec pack, 3ivx)
If so uninstall them, they are know to cause problems with Quickitme.
The list of problem codecs may not be complete, suspect any recently installed codec or converter software.
Then download the version of Quickime without iTunes:

Now Remove Quicktime using the method for Quicktime in this article (just Quicktime):

When you come to your C:\Windows\system32\ folder you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart you computer
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check if it starts.
If it does you are in a position to find out if iTunes is OK.

Buenas tardes,
Al intentar guardar un documento cualquiera desde Adobe Illustrator CS6 64bits me aparece un error de Windows y no me deja guardar, sólo cerrar el programa

AGM.dll relates to the font system. you possibly have a "bad" font on the system. Either way, start by running the cleaner tool and reinstalling AI.

I think after resetting the preferences PSE should work fine.

ColdFusion 11 wsconfig.exe -- Error while configuring connector for IIS.

I ran into a problem with my ColdFusion 11 64-bit installation/migration on a Windows Server 2012 R2/IIS 8.5. I was following the ColdFusion 11 Lockdown Guide - Pete Freitag (very helpful) and I ran into problems on page 35 "Run the ColdFusion Web Server Configuration Tool". When I attempted to do this for ALL IIS websites I encountered a Windows error [APPCRASH - Exception Code:c0000005]. Also, note my Administrator-Command Prompt window provided this error message "Error while configuring connector for IIS. Make sure you have administrator privileges". However, I did not experience this error with all of the migrated sites. I traced my steps backward to discover the problem. I used the Microsoft Web Deployment tool (good tool) to migrate the old IIS websites to the new IIS. I utilized Metabase Explorer the IIS 6.0 Resource Tools to discover that some of the migrated sites that were crashing did not have the key/value ID:6006 | Name: DefaultDoc. Once I added this key and redeployed the site the ColdFusion 11 connector (wsconfig.exe) worked fine. In addition, I added this key/value to some of the larger previously migrated sites in IIS 8.5 ("Default Document") and it worked with the connector as well.
Knowing how IIS encapsulates information the DefaultDoc key/value should have passed from the website setting. Why would this make wsconfig.exe crash?
Thanks in advance and I hope this saves someone from hours of research and frustration.

PS7.0 Has suddenly stopped working - APPCRASH

Can someone please help - this is driving me nuts!
I have had PS7.0 installed on my PC for years with no issues - then suddenly today it wouldn't open - Partly loads and then says "Adobe Photoshop has Stopped working" and shows the following error:

I have done a system restore (Vista Home Premium) until well before this issue started and it makes no difference
I have uninstalled and re-installed PS7 and it makes no difference
I have installed the same PS7 onto a different PC and it works fine (also running Vista HP)

Still can't work out what I'm being instructed to do - I cannot load PS7.0 so I cannot get into the file menus
I have tried Ctrl-Alt-Shift while the partial loading is taking place and nothing happens
I can't understand why uninstalling the software and doing a complete re-install would not re-set the preferences anyway?
Or am I being a typical 'non-top line proffessional' here?

In the FAQs there are two methods: the Ctrl-Alt-Shift way which is tricky – you have to be nimble-fingered; and the manual deletion method as described.
Since the preference file are only written when the user closes Photoshop, having made her or his settings, the installation log, which is used to un-install the program, will not include them. As you see from the FAQ they are not even in the PS program folder.
As far as I know it is an Adobe peculiarity but there may be other examples.

AppCrash on Server 2012 effects all users of .exe

We have a legacy application that has functioned on a Windows 2003 Terminal Server for nearly 7 years successfully. We're migrating to 2012 Host, onto a 2012 Hyper-V Guest.
The Terminal Server (RDP) VM is running, and serving 50+ full desktops successfully with Microsoft Office and other relatively new applications.
We have two older (regrettably FoxPro) applications that are experiencing a weird issue.
When one user encounters an application error (AppCrash) it will effect the ability for all other users to continue running that .exe; and in fact they will receive the same error (Typically c000203, InPageError). They each have a 'copy' of the .exe,
that they are launching from a directory in their own %userprofile%\AppData\Local\; but I think that some of the .app and other FoxPro dependent files are executed by the .exe from the Shared Location "C:\Server\FoxProProgram".
UAC is Off, and DEP is set to exclude these .exe files. I have not tried turning DEP on for "Only Windows Files/Services"; but that might be my next step.
My question is, is there something in DEP, or another service (of Hyper-V Integration, or elsewhere in Server 2012) that does some sort of Single Instance storage (de-duplication) of binary/files in RAM (Memory) that could be related to this; and is there
a way to enable Process Isolation, so that each user has an isolated usage in RAM so errors from one user, do not effect others?

Based on my knowledge, RDS has nothing to do with this. It may depend on the design of the App. It is highly recommended to use the versions of Apps which are compatible with Windows Server
2012.

Outlook Social Connector Crashes on startup

Just downloaded and installed the newly released Outlook Social Connector Beta from

Wanted to try out the LinkedIn integration.
Problem now is that Outlook crashes at startup, reporting error APPCRASH in the social connector DLL.
I can disable Social Connector addin to get Outlook working again, but would love to try out the LinkedIn integration. Anyone got this working, or got a fix for the crash?

Did you originally install the new connector over the old one?
How many social connector keys are at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook ?
(you can delete them and reinstalling the connector to regenerate the keys)
Also note that if you try a new profile, they say the connector only works with one profile - you need to edit the registry to show it in another

I looked in the folder from which I want to synch photos, but there is no such thing as an "ipod photo cache" in that folder, or sub-folders, as suggested in the link which you were nice enough to provide.
I have also tried removing photos from my iPad2 Photos App, and "iTunes has stopped working" shows up again as soon as I click on the "Synch photos from" button.

Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:

Itunes wont load error message appcrash?

Thank you in advance. windows 7 home premium. Itunes decided to not load a few days ago. I used the windows dialog box to look for a solution online and then close program. It came back with there is an update to the program and that should fix your problem. So I updated to the latest Itunes. I was holding back from doing that as I did not like the new format from playing with it at a friends house. But I did update to the latest version. But the problem still exists. Itunes will open up and then when it begins to download the ltest purchases it crashes. Here is the windows message details I recieve.
