☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

After every resetlogs you have to take fresh backup.
It seems you have opened your database in resetlogs and your backup is prior to this resetlogs.So the controlfile is showing inconsistance with the other datafiles.

Internet Connect error - Max connect time

I am trying to help a friend with his Powerbook G4 at 10.4.4 configure dial-up networking with his internal modem.
When I click the "Connect" button in internet config it briefly shows a status of "Contacting PPP Server" then immediately presents a dialog box with the message "The connection was terminated because the maximum connection time has elapsed."
Although I have verbose logging checked in the ppp configuration in the ppp options of the network prefpane for the internal modem, Internet Config does not write anything to the log. The modem selected is "Apple Internal Modem (v90)". I have tried other modem selections with the same result.
I have tried dialing the modem with zTerm and that works. So, the problem does not appear to be originating with the modem.
What is causing the time out condition and how do I correct it?

There was probably "maxconnect x" (with a numerical value for x) in either /etc/ppp/options or /etc/ppp/postoptions that was causing that -- unless there was a script that specifically called for maxconnect to be used as an option.
/usr/sbin/pppd is the executable that handles ppp connection. it's not a matter of Internet Connect being sensitive to it; that is what handles the actual ppp connection.

How to retrieve connection time with no LMS

Hi everyone,
I am developing a small learning platform using Adobe Captivate 5.5 (two modules of 8 lessons with 10-20 slides each). Because of the size of the class room, I don't want to use an LMS together with captivate.
I want to display two things: the score of two quizzes, (one for each module), and the connection time spent on each lesson fro each student.
I came accross this thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/997947?tstart=0 explaining how to retriveve data without using an lms.
I hope that we can manage to get the quizz score easily using this method.
However, my main question is whether it is possible to retrieve the connection time of the student. This point is crucial to our project.

It is possible to store the time spent in a Captivate file in a user variable, but you need a solution to export that value. Have a look at the widgets created by cpguru (Michael Lund), he has recently released a email widget that allows you to send also values of user variables (widget is not free):

500 Internal Server Error while connecting JSP with Oracle

Hello Friends,
We Have installed Oracle Applications 11i in our orgaization which run on HP-UX 11.11 (HP Unix). I have created a JSP file in which I am trying to connect the database using OracleConnectionCacheImpl Class File in oracle.jdbc.pool directory. But it shows an error message as:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
I have also installed Oracle HTTP Server on my personal machine at which this code runs perfectly only the error comes when i try to connect oracle from Oracle HTTP Server installed on our HP Unix Server.

the location of JSP file is:

A quick observation reveals that your jsp is just a standalone java program executed inside jsp. Suppose you just run it as a standalone program. Any error then?
Another way going forward is to install oc4j standalone of the same version. It is very easy to install: just download the oc4j-extended.zip and unzip it and run "java -jar oc4j.jar". Put you jsp inside j2ee/home/default-web-app and run. You should see relevant log messages in j2ee/home/log/server.log and j2ee/home/application-deployments/yourApp/application.log.
You should have Jdeveloper of some appropriate version installed. If you have not, install one. It might be not a little bit high learning curve at first, but the rewards are quick and amazing, especially since jdev 10.1.3. (I am speaking from my experience.) Try it with Jdeveloper.

In that I am following the HCM Use case implementation. I configured all the steps up to Exporting the HR data to Staging Area (Identity Store) via VDS by using a SQL query. If I say all the steps I followed it will take more time. so I request you to go through the mentioned document. While executing the report (RPLDAP_EXTRACT) getting some Runtime error. Here is the short dump of that error.

Troy, did you ever figure out why you were getting the cannot modify object class error?
I was able to get around it by fiddling with the IDS config, but comparing that modified config against a new one (that gets the cannot modify object class error) I can't see any relevant difference...

EVERYtime I click "send" or "get Mail", I have to click twice. The 1st time with "send" produces an error, the 1st time with "get mail", nothing happens.

I have to select "send" or "get mail" twice in order for Thunderbird to do what I want. When I click the 1st time when sending, I ALWAYS get an authentication error. I click again and it sends the message without error. When I click "get mail" nothing happens. When I click it again, it checks & retrieves mail.

Full logs attached, I have imported the CCM cert into the Java keystore and still no luck. The only way I can get this to work by testing is to have CCM in VM and web deployed on actual physical machine and that's only for a single user dev. environment.

By default, the ssl certificate from the ccm is untrusted - so you get a verification error. There are two ways to work around this.. one is importing the certificate to the trusted store (google it), the other is writing your code so that it automatically accepts untrusted certs.

Unidentified Error when connecting DW with MySql

Mysql error #:1045 access denied for Buildingbids@localhost (Password:Yes)
so it looks like its looking locally for the database by default and i cant stop it. I did orriginally have MySql set up on my pc and had done some test databases but i have deleted everything now even MySql but i still get this error so i am missing something. Does anyone know why or how can i stop it defaulting locally. Thanks

I did all the procedure for use ro wsdl, did the mapping of the fields in my context.
after it was run method to send the connection parameters.
But when running:

Is the error below:

What can be happening? The mapping is correct with the fields of WS.
Already checked one by one.

have you checked the collection cardinality of your input context?
the generated/Initial value is 0..1. so your currentNodeElement is probably null.
if so - set the value to 1..1 and try it again.

Getting error and connection problems with iPad and DLink DI-634M router

We're seeing spotty connectivity from our iPad - sometimes it works fine, other times it can't get to any websites. Looking at our wireless router logs, I found a bunch of messages like this for the iPad's address:
"Blocked incoming TCP packet from 192.168.0.140:52023 to 74.125.0.222:80 with unexpected acknowledgement 3307518865 (expected 3307530074 to 3307595610)"
What does this indicate and how can I fix it?
Searching a bit, I found recommendations to disable SPI on the router's firewall, but I don't see any option for doing that on the DI-634M's admin pages.
Any help appreciated - thanks.
