Error: Cannot display file. The file contains 0 bytes

Hi,
I am getting the below error when accessing a a document using Autovue from Documentum:
"Error: Cannot display file. The file contains 0 bytes"
Please note, autovue server is up and running and I get the below when accessing: http://WebserverName:7002/VueServlet/servlet/VueServlet
Oracle AutoVue
VueServlet for AutoVue 20.2.2 Build: 8633 (2013-08-21)
Servlet tunneling to server[0] (IP=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
Connection state: OK
AutoVue server is up and running.
Build: 8633 (2013-08-21)
Server Load:
Server: farm-server[0] (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxx) Processors: 2
I hope to hear from someone soon!
Cheers

That means that you documentum integration is not working properly
you will need to debug the integration you are using and attach logs for the server, integration servlet (VueLink for documentum, which version?)
Please review the KB, there are items associated with it

Using xp home and when I click to download the pdf file, it will give 3 options been 'open'/'save'/?. When I choose the 'open' option, it will give me the above message "there was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found"
owever if I choose to "save" and I will be able to open the file and read it. In this pc its using Adobe Reader 8.1.2 with a patch. It was working fine prior to this sudden occurance of the error.
Strangely I have another pc with the same specification, I was able to choose "open" and be able to read the file. Can anyone help to resolve the issue by using the "open' option instead of "save, then open". Greateful for your prompt response.

Fyi, in addition to my earlier post, the other pc is using Adobe 8.1.1 and no other patch. I was trying to find 8.1.1 version but could not find a trust worthy site to load from. Do you think the error caused by using the 8.1.2 version? Thanks

  • "Error occurred while converting the file 'song name'. The required disk cannot be found"

Hi, I saw this issue in an archived discussion, and I just had the same problem, but figured out how to resolve it.
I think this error is a result of:
    A) downloading a new version of iTunes, and;
    B) storing my iTunes library on an external hard drive.
Because when the new version of iTunes was downloaded, I found that the destination folder for my iTunes music was no longer selected. Therefore, I was getting the error message: "Error occurred while converting the file 'song name'. The required disk cannot be found" when I tried to import CDs.
    To fix: go to:
    iTunes>Preferences>Advanced
and specify your destination folder for your music.
    Just wanted to share!

Thank you so much! I was in the same situation (iTunes library stored on external hard disk). Strangely, iTunes knew where my music was stored (i.e. if I clicked a song it would link to the library location and play with no problems). But in the "Advanced" settings, the location of my iTunes Library was blank. So I just pointed to the correct location and now everything is working OK! Thanks again.

  • Error occurred while converting the file "song name" the required folder cannot be found

In ITunes 12, while trying to import from CDs I keep getting this message "error occurred while converting the file "song name". The required folder cannot be found". It will import 2 or 3 or 5 songs and then this message. I have tried multiple CDs, a few seem to work fine, but most don't import completely.

I think I found out why this happens. I am using an external hard drive, not sure if this is relevant, but I believe so. I went into iTunes and deleted the songs, and asked that they be deleted from the library as well. Got same message when I tried to re-import. Went on to the external hard drive, where library is located, and none of the songs had been deleted. Deleted the songs, as well as the albums folder, re-imported, no problems. Hope that helps.

  • Receive message after importing serveral songs from CD into iTunes (latest ver 11.1.5.5)... "Error occurred while converting the file 'songname'.  The required folder cannot be found."  CD/DVD ROM is no longer recognized until restart.

Consistently receive the following message after importing serveral songs from CD into iTunes (latest ver 11.1.5.5)...
"Error occurred while converting the file 'songname'.  The required folder cannot be found."
CD/DVD ROM is no longer recognized until computer is restarted.

I have the same problem.  I recently moved my music from a Vista PC to a new Laptop with an external CD drive. It will copy one song from the CD and it will show in the Music file and then I get the message ' Error importing a CD - Folder not found'.  I must unplug the CD drive and plug it back in.  I have seen no fix for this problem.

That camera model is too new for your programs. Every camera has its own raw format and ACR must be updated to include the info for each new model as it comes out. The workaround would be to download the free Adobe DNG converter and use that to convert your ORFs to DNGs that your version of Camera Raw can read.

  • 'Error occured while converting the file--unknown error occured 0x77686174

I just got my first iPod but I'm a little frustrated. I put in a cd, iTunes opens and asks me if I want to import the songs, I reply yes. When it tries the very first song of the cd, it immediately comes up with 'Error occured while converting the file "name of song". An unknown error occured (0x77686174).' It doesn't matter if this is a completely new cd or an older one.
I ran CD diagnostics on iTunes and my results are below. I have posted this several times on many different boards and haven't found any solutions or been given any solutions from anyone. I have an iPod that I can't use because I can't download any songs...does anyone have any idea what to do?
I've looked at Dell to update drivers for my cd drive but it says that I have the newest drivers...the computer isn't even a year old yet. What do I do?? I've wiped the cd like several posts say to do, I've clicked the fix error option on cd off and on like several posts have said to do, I've changed the conversion of 128 to 64 like several posts have said to do...help please, anyone?

  • "Error occurred while converting the file "song name."

While trying to import 3 different CD's into iTunes, the message "Error occurred while converting the file "song name. The required folder cannot be found." • "Ipod Cannot Be Updated, The File Required Is Missing" - Can someone help?

I just got this error today and its bugging me.
Whenever I try to update my ipod it gives me a new window saying "IPOD (name) cannot be updated, the file required is missing."
ummm I thought maybe if i restored my ipod the file would be restored too but that didnt work....
After i restored it, the itunes library updated my ipod with all my original playlists and videos, but now when i try to update it and sync my pictures to it or create new playlists, it gives me that message.
Can anyone give me some advice on what i can do to fix this problem? i do have the iTunes 7.01 my ipod is the 60G Ipod Video (White)
Thanks for your help guys, i really need it.

I just dealt with the same problem. None of the answers people gave to the problem worked!
Whatever it is that you're trying to put into your iPod... make sure that the file is located in your "My Music" file first.
Basically, when you get that message double check and if what you selected isn't in "My Music" drag and drop into it and try again.
    I hope that helped!
    I know... so frustrating.

That's what I get when I boot my Arch system. It worked fine for quite a while, but suddenly it ran into an error where the SCSI driver module was corrupt. I fixed it by reinstalling util-linux-ng and kernel26, however, I run into this issue now. http://www.pastie.org/2163181 < Link to /var/log/pacman.log for the month of July, just in case. Yes, I bought a new ATI/AMD Radeon HD 5450 this Saturday, but it seemed to work fine till this broke and it works fine on Ubuntu too, so I suppose we can rule it out.

Autodetection failed on your first image, in both your previous kernel installs:
[2011-07-04 16:14] find: `/sys/devices': No such file or directory
Which means that sysfs was not mounted. You should be able to boot from the fallback image, which does not use autodetect. Figure out why /sys isn't mounted, as well, and fix that.
This is also a somewhat crappy bug in mkinitcpio that lets you create an autodetect image that's useless. It'll be fixed in the next version of mkinitcpio that makes it to core.

  • My biggest 'pain' at the moment is that every time I go to change then save a Photoshop CS3 file it says 'cannot save as the file as it has been left open or is in use by another application'

My biggest 'pain' at the moment is that every time I go to change then save a Photoshop CS3 file it says 'cannot save as the file as it has been left open or is in use by another application'

Rule Number One - NEVER go directly uinto the iPhoto library - there are no user servicable parts in it and making any change no matter how small can corrupt your library and cause data or photo loss
Exactly how were you trying to save a copy of your iPhoto library?
Albumdata.xml does not contain your photos - and again NEVER make any changes to the content of the iPhoto library - no dragging - no changes - never go into the library
We need to know exactly what you did
And probalby the easiest solution is to load your backup from before you messed things up
For reference after you get things working
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive
