I am trying to download a report in pdf format. I get the following error:

That would be an error message issued by the application you tried to download from.
It is pretty unreasonable to expect help about an unknown application here, but it seems pretty clear that you've got the credentials wrong.

TS3367 Why do i get an Error message of incorrect username or password at every try.
I upgraded to ios6 but face time and IM won't let me sign in. I can download sign in to iTunes but only these two refuse to accept my password. Error message of incorrect username or password at every try.
So the tech reset it, did some hard reset I think also checked the date n time setting and still nothing.You should always indicate the line of code where the error occurs. Also, the value of the variables in that line, as that tells you what the problem is.
There are several places where you use '+' instead of '&' with mixed types which can cause this error.
However this line:
Dim orderid As Integer = (ds.Tables(0).Rows(0).Item(0)) + 1
is most likely the problem if you haven't checked first that there is a valid order ID returned from the query. If the table is empty then you should initialise the ID to an arbitrary value instead of trying to calculate it. -

When does the message appear? Is it when you are in the email client? If so, go to Settings>icloud and be sure you are logged into the right icloud account.
Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars - and in the Mail section, be sure your email account is defined. If it is, try deleting it and setting it up again. -
What if I no longer use my rescue email address and cannot remember the username or password that I set up as my rescure email?
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

My bellsouth.net email was hacked. I was unable to access it on my iphone. "Cannot get mail the username or password is incorrect". I called bellsouth and had my password changed. The email account works on att website and windows live mail. Even after changing the password in settings on the iphone, I still get the same error message.

Being able to to send and receive email is definitely an important feature of the iPhone. Here are some steps that may help:
If you are unable to send or receive email, try the following steps:
Restart the iOS device.
Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage to ensure that the device has Internet access. If you're unable to load a webpage, try the Wi-Fi assistant.
Try an alternative Internet connection.
If your email is provided by your Internet provider, try connecting from the home network.
If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, try to disable Wi-Fi: Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If not, try a different Wi-Fi network.
Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.
If you're still unable to send or receive email, contact your email provider and verify the account settings are correct. You will need to gather this information (PDF).

The article ends with gaining information from your Email Provider. I understand you are entering your correct username and password into the iPhone settings, but they may have adjusted some of the other settings.

Cannot Get Mail Username or Password incorrect even if info are correct
I have a Gmail account witch use to work on previous iPhone system (1.X). Now that I upgrade to (2.x) the mail app seems to be completely crazy. It tells me that my information are incorrect (password or username). I reset my email account probably 20 times, reset network preference 20 times even changed password in my gmail account. I tried to set my email account with POP protocol or IMAP protocol but nothing works. I've been googling for maybe a day and try many possibilities that you can find on internet.
for example:
create new email account: NO SUCESS.
change Gmail password: NO SUCESS.
Restore iPhone: NO SUCESS.
Restore network setting (iphone): NO SUCESS.
set up with POP or IMAP: NO SUCESS.
Initially sync mail settings from computer in iTunes: NO SUCESS
Manually enter the mail account settings directly on iPhone: NO SUCESS
Deleting and then manually recreating your account on your iPhone: NO SUCESS
What to do????
P.S: I have a Yahoo email too I can receive email but can't send anyone.
Gmail or Apple has to wake up.

and manually re-enter the account;'s username and password in for the
smtp.gmail.com Server.
Folks who have done that today have reported success in getting their GMail
to send properly.
While you are at it, you might also turn ON the AT&T SMTP Server shown at the very
bottom of the Secondary Servers list on your iPhone. It is OFF by default and often
helps in areas where you switch networks frequently. -
I cannot receive and send mail. A message appears with username or password incorrect. I have checked these and they are correct.
Delete the account, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.] It is absolutely/appsolutely safe! And then renter the username etc.

One of my clients is having intermitting issues with her iCal on her Macbook. Her iCal is connected to her iCloud account along with her contacts, she access the iCloud data via her iPhone and her iPad.
The syncing between her devices with the iCloud gives her no issues when it comes to her contacts but her iCloud on her Macbook is causing a lot of grief. She can accept and add iCal events most of the time but every now and then she gets the error "iCal can't log into your iCloud account becasue your password may be incorrect. The server did not recognize your username or password for the account iCloud. Make sure you enter them correctly". Here is a picture of the error.
I can confirm her username and password is correct by clicking ok to the error and making an event in the calander or making a new contact in her contacts and confirm on icloud.com that the new additions did make it to the iCloud.
On top of the above error she also gets the following error intermittently (seems to happen the most when she attempts to remove a calander item). The error is "The server responded with an error. The request for "Meeting name" in "category" in account iCloud failed. The server responded with 500 to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. Stay offline/Revert to Server/Go Online" once more below is a picture
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreshated

I want to change my username(email address) on OTN as I no longer work for this company. I have a 6 character OTN password but to change my username or password (Oracle profile) I have to enter my old password. A validation rule on the old password field disallows passwords less than 8 characters... what can I do?

Cannot save multiple usernames and passwords
Just upgraded to version 9.0, but it no longer allows me to have multiple usernames and passwords for the same site. I've removed them in privacy to enable saving once again, but still I can only save one.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you on is stored in a cookie that you need to keep by creating an allow exception.

Check your password at the webmail site for AOL - if the password is correct delete your email account on the iOS devices and re-enter the user name and password to rebuild the account.

We are having serious issues with one of our Google Apps accounts. We have done everything we can think of to get it to work properly on 3G but for some reason it continually asks for the user's password no matter how many times we enter it. However, it does work on WiFi!!
The iPhone says "Cannot get mail, the username or password for USERNAME is incorrect."
This happens on both Exchange and on IMAP accounts. We have deleted the accounts and set them up again several times but to no avail.
It is also worth noting that I have exactly the same settings on my identical iPhone and have no problems whatsoever so we think it may be something with the google configuration.
