Error: CENVAT type tax cannot be used in DPO or DPI by far

Hi,
I am getting the above mentioned error when i post an A/P Down Payment Request / Invoice Document in SAP B1 2007B with respect to the GRPO as the base document. All the items are excise items. Under Tax Code column, it is BED+VAT which is reflected from the base document. I would also like to know the complete process flow in using Down Payment Request / Invoice for both Purchase & Sales process with outgoing & Incoming Payments.

Dear Kaushal,
At present it is not possible to create Down Payment Invoice with Excisable Item and Excisable Tax Code, which is currently system behavior.

My user got the error message : Transaction type 100 cannot be used for activity 'Acquisition from invoice receipt w/ affil. comp.'
when post the invoice via MIRO t code for 98% of the total amount.
The posting was is related to affiliated company, & by right it should pick transaction type 153 but it is pointing to 100.
If user post 100% , no error.
Please advice.

I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck!

Internal class type 023 cannot be used in class maintenance

Dear PP gurus,
I am creating class from t code CL01 and while entering class type 023 , i am getting a error message
"Internal class type 023 cannot be used in class maintenance" . when i pressed F4 , in the list 023 is not present.
In the develpopment client , when i do the same 023 , it allows be to create class
pls help me wher i am missing or?

I am facing a similar problem.
I have checked the following customization "SPRO --> Cross Application component -->Classification system --> Class --> Maintain Object type and class,
Here select the MARA table click on the object and check class type 023 is assigned or not."
Class type 023 is not assigned there. When i try to add a new entry I get the following error message
"Specify the key within the work area".
I referred to the following note :OSS Note 1066606, but that is concerned with AFS component.
Kindly provide me a solution as soon as possible.

current situation
- I've recovered from external drive (mountain lion 10.8.1 ) which i prepared by Lion Diskmaker before.
Current issues:
1) I have Recovery HD but when I boot from it - Reinstall Mac OS X option is not working
2) I have EFI password and won't be able to clear it as well as reset PRAM
3) Boot Camp Assistant is not working as well with the error in the subject
Any ideas how to fix all of these?

I am trying to copy the BOM of a material.
The error msg.
"matrial type HALB cannot be used with item category L (plant 1000)"
Diagnosis: you want to enter a new componet with material type HALB and item category L.
Settings in IMG for production (master data> BOM > Item data > define item category) determine that inventory management for this item category is to be based on quantity.
However, other settings in the IMG for material HALB in plant 1000 determine that the quantities are not updated in the material master. This means that you cannot enter this material with item category L.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this error please.

Hi Ahmad,
Follow this navigation path in SPRO
IMG: Logistics > Material Master > Basic Settings > Material Type > Define Attributes (OMS2)
Select a material type ( like in your case HALB) and navigate to Quantity/Value Updates. Now try to locate your plant to which you want to assign your BOM to. And then set the flags Qunatity Updating and Value Updating and save.
Now, you can come out of CS01(BOM creation) transaction and re-enter CS01. Now you can maintain the data and error will not come.

iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.

I had upgraded my ITUNES and after two attempts to update to IOS 5 (it timed out each time), I am now getting the message above. everything seems to be working. Error Message "This iPhone cannot be used because..."

I am trying to use my iPhone with a new laptop. I installed iTunes most recent version and it works fine.
When I plug my iPhone in, I get an error message: "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service has not been started."
I have been using my iPhone (and various iPods and iTouches). I have never had a problem plugging them in and POOF, they show up in iTunes. None of them will show up in iTunes in my new computer.
What am I doing wrong?

IDoc error - Condition type & tax code & does not exist

I have the problem with CANADA tax codes. I have a few documents sent from external SAP to different SAP. In the source system documents were posted. In the target system i have error "Condition type & tax code & does not exist". I have compared the tables A003 and A053 in both systems and the settings are the same for specific Condition type and tax code... So where to find the reason Idocs are in error ? The only thing which is different is validity from (in the source system is earlier than in the target but the docs are created after both validation start)...
I would appreciate advice.

Please go to T.code WE02 and check the reason for the error.
The failed IDocs will be in status "51" and will also give you the reason for errors.

Went to sync my itouch and got the error message: This itouch cannot be used because the apple mobile device sevice is not started. This has never happened before. I have deleted my itouch, but could not restore since it is no longer being recongnized in itunes. What can I do to fix this?
