Hello all,
I usually get the error:
Checksum error for Hidden and Protected item ID (10785219011206310), value (on), posted checksum (C1DEF33B4C8D57845151B7D18363B3D7), expected checksum (********************************), index_i (3), index_j (2), index_m (1);
I have already found one thread with this question - Checksum error for Hidden and Protected item ID
but there are no answers to this problem.
Any thoughts how to solve this and what is causing it??

I used to receive the same error because I was trying to update the value of the hidden and protected item on the same page repeatedly.
I changed the item type to hidden to avoid the error.

I have a region with 3 items - a Text field, a Text area and a Hidden and Protected item. When clicking on the save button the record should be written to the table. However I get the following error:

When I change the hidden and protected field to a regular text field I am able to successfully process the page.
Do I have to do anything different when I have a hidden and protected field? Would appreciate any suggestions/comments to help resolve this issue.

If you have client-side code that changes the value of a "Hidden and Protected" item after the item/value has been emitted to the page by Application Express, you need to change the item type to Hidden, instead.

I have 3 tabs namely search,create and reports.
when i move from
search to create ----> works fine
search to reports----> works fine
create to reports ---> works fine
create to search ---> works fine
but after comming to reports tab when i click to any of the tabs
error occurrs as follows

Please could any guide me to rectify this error?
Note: This error happened after i copied a report from the create page to the report page. and that report page is having an hidden item.

Hi,
The problem is when you are creating an item "Hidden and protected" so apex will associate a checksum value for that item's value and as you are changing the value, the checksum will not changed.
If there is no security issue use "Hidden" instead of "Hidden and protected" for that item.

Hello, can somebody explain what is the difference between "hidden" and "hidden and protected" items and give examples when one should be used and not the other - like why should I use "hidden and protected" as opose to "hidden" or vice versa.

Hidden and Protected
Renders an HTML hidden form element. Session state can be assigned and referenced just like a text field. For maximum security use Hidden and Protected instead of Hidden unless your page has client-side behavior, for example, JavaScript that alters the item value after the page is rendered by Oracle Application Express.

Tables related to PM order for actual and commitment items

Hello Experts,
I need help in finding the tables related to PM order for actual and commitment items.
I need develop a report which can show the actual and commitment items for each order and Operation/component under that each ITEM wise and its related documents.
For the component we can find the table RESB.
But i am getting the difficult to find the data related to Operation (services)
In my client we can able to see PM orders with activity types and SKF
How can build the logic to find the values for each operation item and its commitments (PO, PR) and actual that is FI documents
Please guide me the TABLES and fields or else give me the hints, how can find the tables

Create withholding tax data subsequently for reconciled and open items in c

Hi All,
Mine is a US co code and I have a vendor for which invoice and payment documents are posted. After posting the invoice i found that the vendor is subjected to classic withholding tax which i did not calculate when posting invoice, making payments.
Now i have changed the vendor master data with relevant withholding tax details.
I know the program RFWT0020 allows us to create withholding tax data subsequently for reconciled and open items in cases where vendors or customers become liable for withholding tax with a tax rate of 0 %.
It is not working out for me.
Can any body help me on this.

by se38 --> report documentation, You can read carefully the following:
The auxiliary program makes it possible to convert both classic and extended withholding tax data. However, with classic withholding tax, ONLY VENDOR data can be converted.
In addition, the program enables the withholding tax code to be changed for reconciled and open items with existing withholding tax data. For this, the tax rate of the existing withholding tax data as well as the tax rate of the new withholding tax code must be 0%. The new withholding tax codes are taken from the customer or vendor master data. In the case of extended withholding tax, the withholding tax code is only changed if the related withholding tax categories are the same. The withholding tax base amount is not changed by this procedure.
Recreating or changing the withholding tax data requires that the program first be executed for INVOICES and then executed for PAYMENTS in a subsequent step.

"Digest User" in the "Protocol Specific Information" section of Phone Configuration selected right user. in this Jabber I see following error "Failed to get device configuration". however Jabber for Windows and for Android hasn't such issues - they succesfully can log in from Internet and it can do calls and IM but I see next messages in VCS Expressway when Jabber is logging in. The same log line appears when Jabber for Android log in:

Thanks Srini, but the instructions have two options:
1. Use the Control Panel, select "Oracle 11g..." and uninstall from there.
This is of course the first thing I tried, but as I said, there is no entry for Oracle 11g in my "Programs and Features" applet.
2. Download the install package and run OracleXE.exe with the remove iss file.
Firstly, there is no OracleXE.exe in the package I downloaded, just setup.exe;
Secondly, setup.exe ignores the iss parameter and tells me that OracleXE is already installed (setup.log contains ResultCode=-3) so it can't be installed.
Is there somewhere else to get an OracleXE.exe that will work for 11g? Or are these the instructions for 10g and haven't been updated yet?
Am I unusual in not having a Control Panel entry?
(and I understand this is a beta - that's partly why I'd like to uninstall it - I'll go back to 10g and not be so impatient :))

I tried the pop-up blocker and compatible view but still the same problem. Also, i tried to lower the security settings of my IE to min but still the same issue. Additionally, i tried to remove unnecessary security options from IE but also the same.

Patch 6678700 for NLS error -no directores for FRC and ESA

I have done the following regarding upgrade from 11.5.102 to r12.1.1;
1)-installation of r12 complete.
2)-US upgrade patch for patch 6678700 completed.
3)-started 6678700 for NLS and got the following errors, when investigated from log, it was revealed the there is no directory existed for FRC and US. We were using FRC and ESA with 11i for the last may years.
4)-In all the product top, there is just US directory, not FRC or ESA.
I don't know where is the problem, which steps I missed. Please help.

You need to download the NLS CDs from e-Delivery website and use them to apply the patch. Please use adpatch to apply the patches with no options (unlike the US patch driver which is applied using "adpatch options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion").

When I ran CT method for consolidation unit , system will pickup values from ECMCT and TF620 , TF630( investments + equity) tables but at the same time i get in CT method details as additional step

any idea why it is behaving like that ( I ve excluded equity and investments from BS step 1-1)

Invoice not updated for Service and limit items

Hi All,
For service and limit we are not able to see the invoice document in the "Related Documents" tab in the Purchase order.
For material I am able to find the entry in the tab but the invoice statistics data is not getting updated for service POu2019s and also for limit item POu2019s.
Found a note for the same : 1462644 - Empty statistics in PO in case of Extended Classic Scenario but it works only for material line items only.
Please let me know if any config change need to be made else if there is any SAP note that would resolve this issue.
