I am trying to change an infosource and keep getting this error "Choose a change request with target system BWQ"
How do I correct this?

Check out source system Id's are properly assigned or not.
go to tools ( CtrlShiftF11)

"Choose a change request with target system BWQ".
When I click on the Documentation (F9) button, the detailed message is:

Diagnosis
The selected change request BWDK901086 has target system .
However, the objects you edit can only be recorded in change requests with the target system BWQ.
The correct target system is determined from the package and transport layer to which the object concerned belongs.
System response
The selected change request BWDK901086 is not used to record the objects.
Procedure
Either choose a different change request or change the target system of the change request BWDK901086.
From the prompt window for change requests, you can display all requests you can use by choosing Own requests.
Alternatively, you can create a new request by choosing Create request.

hi Fullham,
try se09/10 and find request BWDK901086 (use binocular icon) or se03. then double click that request, go to tab 'properties', hope you will see 'Target System' system there, click 'edit'/pencil icon and change it to BWQ.
you may need to change the owner (which may not authorized), ask basis help if necessary.

Hi,
You can transport any requests to any systems even though they are not in the transport domain.
1) Move the corresponding data & cofiles( in /usr/sap/trans/data & /usr/sap/trans/cofiles directories) to the same location in the target system.
2)Add the request to the queue from STMS ->Import Queue ->Extras ->Other Requests - >Add.
3)The execute the transport as usual.

No , its not out of box functionality in MDG. Reason being, MDG framework provided some standard API's with the help of which we can do our development with ease.

Generate change request with preset of attributes

Hi experts!
We are launching ChaRM in our company.
Before using ChaRM we have handled change requests with a paper-form. Now we think about using Interactive Forms for normal corrections to keep the users look-and-feel like the old paper form, without manual typing the data into the ticket.
My question is: Is there any way to create a change-request in the solution manager from an abap-program?
I found a function module to create a CR-ticket, its called "SOCM_CHANGE_REQU_CREATE".
It works fine, but I'm able to pass only the ticket-type and the short-discription.
The requirement is to pass other data to the ticket, according to data of the pdf-form,
for example texts and business partners (requestor, reason of the change, and so on...)
Is there any programming interface to realize this?

You cannot cancel a change request with status New.

We're just starting to dive into SCSM. We created a test Change Request and now want to delete / cancel it. When we try, we get a message
"You cannot cancel a change request with status New."
Is there an easy way to remove this?

This is a problema from your 3 scsm services, maybe in your principal or secundary server. You must to restart services in an special order and delete application cache.

I think this problem is for bad performance in databases and application, so review your hardware design, and logical, so review workflow performance too.

Error in pushing a request to R3 System using RFC Adapter

I am trying to send a request to R3 system using an RFC Adapter as my end point and pointing to
the Application server of the R3 box.
In the Transaction SM58 I see and error saying "Exception in handleRequest of server Xmb2RfcService: java.lang.Exception:"
Here are the corresponding details:

By the by the RFC adapter is started and I can see no activity in the log after startup.

Change Request Management: virtual systems

Hi!
We would like to set up Change Request Management (ChaRM) approach for 3 +1 systems:
DEV --> VT1 (virtual system) --> QAS --> PRD
Questions:
1) Are there some restrictions implementing ChaRM with virtual systems?
2) We would like to use in parallel non-ChaRM transports and we have there
an automatic transport twice a day.
Will this approach be a problem for the ChaRM?
3) Which transport routes will be used by ChaRM?
a) one for transportof the SAP objects (e.g. "SAP") and one standard transport route (e.g. Z<SID>) or
b) do I have the possibility to choose the transport routes?
Any helpful information will be very appreciated and awarded by points.

MSS-mySAP ERP2004-Error in Personal Change Request

I am trying to configure the business package for MSS for my SAP ERP 2004.
I have deployed the business package,the web dynpro development components for ess, mss and pcui_gp.
I have done the JCO destination settings, done the system settings in EP.Have done the back end configurations as given in help.sap.com(assigned the employee to user,assigned authorizations).
I have configured the adobe document services for the scenario for interactive forms.
When i login into MSS using the userid,the frontend is dispalyed.
When i navigate to Personal change request,and click on link "New Personal Change Request", i get the error:
failed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.pcui_gp.isr.isrprocessevent.model.IsrModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'
And:

Error while creating change request via solman support desk message

I have configured CHARM and my change req. is working for urgent correction, I have tested the entire workflow.
however when i try to create a new change req. via support desk message --> create a change request open
I get following error
An action was terminated due to an exceptional situation.
Message no. SOCM_ACTION_LOG 090
Diagnosis
An exception has been triggered in PPF action processing.
System Response
Action processing has been terminated. The status of the transaction is still incorrect.
Procedure
You cannot execute the action until the cause of the error has been removed.
The error messages will be kept until the transaction is next checked for subsequent analysis.
Procedure for System Administration
If necessary, analyze other messages in the application log for the incorrect transaction. To analyze the termination, you can activate the breakpoints in the checkpoint group socm_exception.

Your probably have changed the transaction type SLFN to a the customer namespace Z or Y. If this is the case you MUST also "Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control".
Goto SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Change Management -> Change Request Management -> Extended Configuration -> Change Transaction -> Change Transaction Types -> Copy Control for Change Request Management -> Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control.
Once at this point in the IMG make a copy of SLFN -> ZLFN. This will resolve your problem.

Error from labview 6.1 with the system windows 7

I use Labview 6.1 vi to control a Tektronic oscilloscope and a BNC universal pulse generator via GPIB-USP connection. The vi worked very well with the system windows XP. The system was changed to Windows 7. Then one error message (Trigger signal is not recognized. Check the connection between 'Trigger out' and 'Aux in') comes whenever I start to run vi. The connection between 'Trigger out' and 'Aux in' works under mannual mode, so it is really ok.
Could the compatibility between Labview 6.1 and windows 7 be the reason? If yes, are there tricks to use Labview 6.1 on windows 7? Thanks.

I do not know coding with Labview actually.....
I set the pulse generator to mannual mode and send pulsing signal to scope. The signal was received well and displayed by the scope. It means the connection between 'Trigger out' and 'Aux in' is ok.
The record of NI I/O interface is attached when the error message comes.

When I activate the flag: "activate change request management" in the tab Change requests in transaction SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN, the following error message appears:

Any idea?
The solution manager release is SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0

I am new to MDG I created my First "Custom Master Data Object in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)" using a SAP How to Guide.

Not able to assign Project to the Urgent Change Request with Developer Id with the existing Authorizations. With SAP_ALL authorization, everything works fine.

The Urgent Change request is in created status and I am not able to assign project to it. Also I am not able to change the status of the change request to In developement with developer's Id. Everything works fine if i assign SAP_ALL authorization to the developer.

Error in Personnel Change Request of MSS

I have configured ESS and MSS business packages. Everything works fine but when i navigate to Manager Self-Service--> Service Map and click on Create New Personnel Change Request link then a list of employees are displayed and when i select an employee and click on "select form" button then it displays 11 PCR's and when i select any of the PCR's and click on "Edit form" button then the following error is displayed:
