ERROR: CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA- _SIDVAL_DIRECT

Hi,
I have deleted & reloaded 0material master (text & attr) ,also adjusted tables using
SE14 .
But now i can not see data in any cube wherer i have used this 0material .
When i run query i get thi error:
SID 205 for characteristic 0MATERIAL could not be converted CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA->_SIDVAL_DIRECT_READ2
Plz experts how to solve his problem ?

Hi Girish,
It seems that Cube has data when you deleted master data from SE14 . and now master data has been reloaded .
In that case system will not be able to execute queries and give dump as there will be mis match between sid generated for 0material .
Ideally delete data from the cube and reload / reconstruct it then it should work.

It appears to be a problem with navigational objects. Check the masterdata InfoObjects that you use in your cube. One of them is probably corrupt.
Use transaction RSRV to check SID-tables for your cube and the related masterdata.

RSBOLAP 000 and RS_EXCEPTION 105 ERROR in BW

When I am using the filter in Bex for DATE,DIVISION and DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL, I am getting the following error.
RSBOLAP 000 Program error in class SAPMSSY1 Method : Uncaught_Exceptiomn
RS_EXCEPTION 105 Error in BW.
Where as for others filter I am not getting any error.
Please any one let ´me know what is the reason

Hi,
I have checked the service market but could not find any note related to my error. There is a note for a similar error, i.e., CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form FILLTXT_N-08-', whereas my error is CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form FILLTXT_N-03-'. The note asks to get the support pack 10 for BW3.5 but we already have that.

System error in program CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form

I had a workbook created on a multiprovider. There was a navigation attribute removed from a infoobject for(which was not mapped in my multiprovider)
I am getting this error when i try to run the workbook.
"System error in program CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form
sidvaldirect_read2"
I tried running rsrv and found that there was a hierarchy field which is giving error.
It stated that no leaf properly maintained.
I tried correcting it but it didnt work.
But I went to my query and removed a field(not hierarchy but another characterstic in the query) and it works fine.
I am not restricitng anything key figure with this characterstics..
So how to go about this...........

I checked that the hierarchy and the characterstics both are different and heirarchy is not using the characterstic. Could you tell me what causes this error? If it is because of SID's then how to handle that. Awaiting your reply.

I had a user who was trying to run a query and they got this error msg:
"Abort System error in program CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form_sidval_direct"
I went to RSRV and tried to repair Master Data objects, I came up with this error only on this one "Characteristic 0WBS_ELEMT : Missing initial entry in table /BI0/XWBS_ELEMT". Please guide as to what I should do for this message.

Error while executting report.

Hi,
We are getting this error Abort System error in program CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form_sidval_direct_ while execution the report for the year 2010.
Retail Performance Day is restricted with 1 month period.And its throwing above mentioned error.
But if i remove restriction and create variables then report is generating properly please advice.

This can be program error, need to apply support package or correction,
seems no oss found for form_sidval_direct .....
perhaps it's sid error, try to analyze and repair the infoprovider where the query created on, use transaction RSRV.

Webi error for master data attributes if universe is on top of BI query

We are using BO XI R2 SP5 integrated with SAP BI 7.0.
We have built a universe on top of a BI query and when we try to build a web intelligence report that includes master data attributes like Customer City,Customer Region etc BO throws the following error:
Error 1:
Database error: [SOFA Driver] : Error getting members for hierarchy (level=ZFI_I03/ZFI_I03_Q0003, member=[ZFI_I03___F172], opcode=[ZFI_I03___F172]) . System error in program CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA and form VALUEREAD-02- (see long text). Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)
For a universe built on a different BI query with master data attributes mentioned above,a different error occuring.
Error 2:
Your Web Intelligence session has timed out. Log out and log in again to InfoView. (Error: WIJ 77778)
We have tried:
1) We have executed the function module BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_DIMENSIONS with necessary inputs query/cube and we got correct output, like members, optional properties, selected properties and restrictions.But, still our problem remains same.
2) Transaction u201CRSRTu201D and executed the query,transaction RSRV to check SID-tables and the related masterdata.
Above steps we performed in response to SAP tickets 541052 / 2009,541131 / 2009 based on logs generated,but still the error persists.
What is working:
If a universe is built on top af an infocube directly, then there is no problem with master data attributes in webi report.
Please let us know if you need more details to help us resolve this issue.

based on the MDX you can identify that those are navigational attributes and thats why the issue is not happening when talking to the cube directly because when you connect to the cube directly the navigational attributes are not available.
Take a look at note : 996197
not sure if it will solve the problem because there are other notes when you search for the error message but this was most of the times the one that resolved the issue.

Do you have any replacment path variable defined in the query?
MASTER_DATA_READ is done either by end of the query execution (before the formating the result area) or while performing the value population for any formula / KF where replacement path is used.

Runtime error when executing F4 help on 0FISPER or 0FISCYEAR

I got a problem on F4 help.
When executing F4 help on 0FISPER or 0FISCYEAR using tcode LISTCUBE,
abap dump occurs. The problem also exists when run query in BEx analyzer.
My BW version is NW2004s. And SAPKW70012 has been implemented.

I got reply from SAP. The problem can be solved by running program RSDG_XPRA_IOBJ_TO_NW05. Note 939484 describes this.

Reason and Prerequisites
The problem can have the following causes:
The characteristic does not have any master data, although you did define a master data read class.
There is no generated master data table for the characteristic (for example, 0CURRENCY) and you have not defined a corresponding master data read class in the meta data.
Solution
Technical characteristics and time characteristics were delivered again for SAP NetWeaver 2004s with new properties. The first time you call the data warehousing workbench, the system activates the technical content. If the (time) characteristic already exists in the active version, the system does not copy it from the technical content again. For SAP NetWeaver 2004s, however, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
The characteristic has the property "With master data", which ensures that the master data read class functions correctly.
If the active version of the characteristic does not have any master data, copy the characteristic from the content again. Make any necessary adjustments. Ensure that the "With master data" property is set.
The characteristic does not have a generated table, rather it has its own table, delivered by SAP (for example, unit 0CURRENCY -> table TCURC). The definition of the characteristic must include a relevant master data read class (for example, unit 0CURRENCY -> class CL_RSMD_RS_0CURRENCY).
The RSDG_XPRA_IOBJ_TO_NW05 XPRA defines a master data read class automatically. This XPRA is executed when you upgrade. It may, however, occur, that the XPRA is not executed successfully. If this happens, you can execute the XPRA again manually.
Start Transaction SE38.
Enter the name RSDG_XPRA_IOBJ_TO_NW05 in the 'Program' field.
Choose 'Execute' to execute the program.
