Error CL_RSR_OLAP BW-BEX-ET

Question

Hi all,
an error appears on the system when a WAD 3.x query is opened with the Internet Explorer:
Incorrect call of OLAP layer CL_RSR_OLAP; error in BW-BEX-ET
I searched the forum and found that thread where this error is mentioned. But it doiesn´t explain what that error means. Also I couldn´t find what BW-BEX-ET means. Only that it has something to do with Chrystal Reports (BW-BEX-ET End-user technology:
Crystal Reports Integration). I don´t use Chrystal Report but the client has Chrystal Reports also installed on his system as it seems.

The SAP basis team told me that the error message hasn´t to be correct because sometimes the message doesn´t match with the error.
They had two errors. One error was with authorization and the second was Error CL_RSR_OLAP BW-BEX-ET. Both errors disappeard when the basis team setted an unknown namespace to the system. The namespace was like /POP/BI. After that there were no problems anymore. What they did exactly (config/customizing) to the system I can´t tell because nobody told me more than what I´ve mentioned.
