This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.
Setting up Install Process

So to reslove this I created account on rhn.redhat.com. I saw under "Registered system" that there was no old system registered. Then I tried to register my system with rhn as follow.

After supplying username and password it returns error like

If you have a problem with your Red Hat subscription you should contact Red Hat support. It has nothing to do Oracle and I'm afraid no one here will help you with it. RHEL is not a free product beyond its evaluation period.

        Hi naywah,
I know how important texting is to users. I appreciate you calling *228, did the programming finish successfully? Are you getting the same error messages when sending the messages? Please confirm that you're using the regular texting application and not a 3rd party application. I also recommend you check the content being sent (ex: are you sending plain text or containing special characters or emoticans) and the type of signal arriving to the device. I look forward to hearing back from you to find how the trouble was resolved.

  • Cause Code 97, Error Class 2

I have had my Droid Incredible 2 for a little over a month.  Has worked perfectly fine until this morning. I can receive messages, but whenever I try to reply to them I get a screen that says "Message failed. Would you like to retry?" but every time I retry it still doesn't send. Then I hit cancel instead and view the details of the error.  This is where it says "Cause code: 97, Error class: 2". This is very frustrating and is there any way to fix it?

Lets ensure your text messages are up and running, JulieDuffek. Have you cleared out your text messages threads? I would also suggest heading into Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > ALL > Messages > Clear Data.

  • SMS Error Cause code 29 error class 3

Please help, I just arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan and I'm getting SMS errors: Cause code 29, error class 3.  I did receive a text when I first got here, but I can't send out.  Also, I don't want to make any phone calls as I'm uber roaming.  Data and WIFI seem to work just fine.  It also appears that I am on the NAR network.  Can anyone help me?  I really need to send and receive texts!
    Thanks!

  • Cause Code 97 Error Class 3

I just upgraded to a Rezound HTC smart phone.  When I send a text message, I get "service not available" and "Cause Code 97 Error Class 3"
I have tried *228 and it doesn't go through or give me any options.  We had texting shut off on our previous phones so we wouldn't rack up DATA charges.  But voice-mail and internet IS working on this new phone.  Thanks for any info!
    Davy

On an LTE phone, the SIM card is activated automatically when the phone is powered up, so *228 is non-functional. You may want to call customer service to verify that messaging was added to your account.

  • Java 3D in Linux Redhat 9

    I downloaded Java3D 1.3.3 for Linux from ftp://ftp.tux.org/pub/java/java3d/1.3.1/
    in the i386 area.
I am running jdk 1.5.0_02. on linux Redhat 9.0.
The code appears to install correctly.
When I compile and run the HelloJava3Da demo I get the following error, as Jery reported
    last month;
    Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/awt/DrawingSurface
Does the fact that no one responded to Jery's original post indicate that Java 3D does not
run with the relatively standard "DrawingSurface" class in linux?
Perhaps I was mistaken that Java, and Java projects, such as Java 3D, were supposed to be platform independent?
This example runs fine in WIndows XP using the same versions for Windows.
Does something need repair in the linux versions?

It looks like you not only specified the VM using -vm but also passed VM
arguments (-Xms40m and -Xmx256m). To do so use:
    eclipse -vm <vm goes here> -vmargs -Xms40m and -Xmx256m

  • Does printing in Linux RedHat requires CUPS?

Does the jdk1.4 Printing API require CUPS to run in Linux RedHat? I installed the JDK and programs run well but I cannot direct the printing to a particular prnter. The printing allways goes to the default printer. I ran the examples in Print2DPrinterJob.java (code at the end of this posting) and I find that the windows to select the printers appear, I select the printer to output the image, but the printout allways goes to the default printer regardless of the printer selected.
Since the java Printing API requires the IPP and since LPR is not based in this protocol, I was wondering if I must install CUPS in the server in order to use the printing API

i have experienced the same problem as you - inability to print to a particular printer on linux. this appears to be a bug - if you look closely at what is happening, you get the following exception thrown when you try to print to any printer other than the default one (however, by default it will just recover and print to the default printer so you won't see this exception unless you force it by trying to do a print service lookup with no attributes set). I have not had any luck gettign around this. CUPS does not help either - i have installed CUPS and still see this behavior. Let me know if you have found a workaround.

There are many versions of RedHat. Your post indicates you are using one of them, but your post really does not give a hint as to which one. Funny thing is - different versions have different install requirements.
I really don't understand why operating system version is such a big secret. Especially since it is logically so critical to installation issue. Even when installing on Windows, the first questions is 'which Windows'.
You have, of course, followed the suggestions at http://www.puschitz.com and noted the errors and workarounds, have you not.
