Error Code 1000

Folks,
People on this forum have been rad. I thought I'd solved my problems. I've been working happily for days when suddenly this Error 1000 comes back to haunt me. SFC/scannow tells me no files have been corrupted. Can anyone make sense of this? Can anyone point in me the right direction with Adobe Customer Support? Do they exist?
I know I'm going to get this error more and more now. That's what happened before I totally wiped windows and reinstalled everything. Computer was running great.

Error code 1000 with iMovie

Suddenly when trying to open iMovie (4.0.1) I get the message can't open because of error code 1000. According to apple this code relates to burning a dvd-r from classic. I wasn't doing this.
Repaired permissions, remove plist for iMovie, ran hardware test - all ok.
Any ideas - should I trash iMovie and reinstall? All other applications are fine.
Has anyone run into this error?

A strange problem. Only reinstalling all of iLife fixed iMovie.

CC Install problem: Error code 1000

I'm having trouble installing the Creative Cloud app. I get an error code 1000 message. Can anyone help please? (using Windows 7).

Thanks for replying so promptly. Yes I had a look at that document but unfortunately it didn't solve my problem.
I suspected it had something to do with my machine as our organisation (a university) really locks down our machines so we can't download stuff easily.
After trying a few things what finally worked was creating a 'temp' folder in C Drive and putting the .exe file in that. Then I opened the file by right clicking and selecting 'run as administrator'. This worked (as I have administrator access).

Error Code 1000- Help please-- newborn photos at stake!

I downloaded the Shutterfly plug-in and then iphoto never opened again. Shutterfly helped me erase the plug-in and now claims any error is with iphoto... All I get is "error code 1000". Can anyone help me save the pictures of my newborn that I haven't saved anywhere else?? Dumb I know. Thank you!

I just subscribed for the creative cloud and when I try to install the app it fails with the error Creative Dekstop failed to install error code 1000. Can some one shed any light on how to resolve this

This is generally happen if your esb repository is not available.
Please check if you esb server is started properly without any exceptions etc.

IMovie4 won't launch, Error code 1000?

I closed and saved a current project, trashed some old projects, and now on attempted launch:
"the operation could not be completed
an unexpected error code 1000"
no launch, no bouncy-bouncy icon, nothing.
please help

Quit iMovie.
Locate a file named com.apple.iMovie2.plist and get rid of it. iMovie will create a new one the next time it runs. Empty the trash and run a permissions repair from the Disk Utility folder.
The files are located here:
Users/YourName**/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iMovie2.plist

NIFCONF_ERR_DD_SIZE_MISMATCH [Error Code - 1000]

Hi,
I am using NI-FBUS Configurator V3.2.0.4073 under Win-XP SP2.
Even after downloading the .ffo,.sym and .cff files to NI using Interface Configuration utility I am getting the NIFCONF_ERR_DD_SIZE_MISMATCH [Error Code - 1000] warning.
I have Resource, PID, AO, DI, DO and OS block in my application. The above mentioned warning appears only for the resource and AO block only and only when I try to access the blocks (Res/AO). And it disppears when I update the block explicitly. Also the error window does'nt show for which parameter this error is comming !!!!
Can you help me as I am running out of time !!!!!!!!

When you get this error in Configurator, you will see where the error comes from in Status tab.
See the attached pic.
LD302's resource block has this error. It shows that when reading view 4, the error happens. You can also check it in your configurator.
If you open this block, the question mark on the block will disappear. But it doesn't mean the error disappears. If you right click the block and select Update, you will see the error and question mark again.

We get this error when the installer is kept on the network drive. If it is then move the installer to the local drive and try again it should work fine.
Also make sure that you are the administrator of the machine on which you are installing the application.

Wi-Fi diagnostic error code 1000

My wifi won't find any connections at my Uni and won't connect manually, even to open access routers. I ran the automated diagnostics and comes up with a WARNING on the wi-fi and Wi-Fi code 1000. What does this mean? Have I got a hardware fault?
I have the latest updates from HP but really need help!

If your phone is creating an "Ad-Hoc" wifi connection, the touchpad won't see it. Is it a webOS phone? My touchpad connects fine to my Pre2 using a program called "FreeTether".

Try to back up pictures on verizon cloud but the app gives me error code 1000 please close app and try again...please help I want to set my phone to factory but some of pics didnt save to my sd card

I have been trying to back up my pictures on Verizon Cloud app but everytime I try to log in I get "error code 10000, close app and try again...I have been avoiding the new update because of all the problems I keep hearing and my phone is already freaking out...

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out, Stevie5504. Do you show the pictures as being backed up? I would suggest resetting the app by heading into Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > ALL > Verizon Cloud > Clear Cache and Data.

HP Notebook 1000-1227TU Recovery - Error code: 0xc0000225

OS: Windows 8
I ran into a serious issue with my newly bought HP Notebook. I used EASEUS Partition Master software to resize C: drive from 275GB to 70GB, then allocate the new partition 205GB to F: drive (D: is recovery, E: is DVD). After clicking apply, the system reboots (and downloading windows updates).
Upon reboot, the following error message is shown. I can not choose to boot from recovery etc.

Hi,
Press the power button and immediately tap the Esc key to enter the Strtup menu. In the Startup menu choose diagnostics and test the hard disk and the test the memory.
Post your results here in your thread.
If the results are a hard disk fail then the hard disk must be replaced with a new one.
Is your notebook still in warranty?
If the results are hard disk passed then the following procedure should help you.
You can download and create a live usb version of Gparted.
Boot to the USB flashdrive you used when creating the utility. Enter the Gparted partition editor and mark the recovery partition as active. Once that is done, restart the PC and it should boot right into the Recovery manager.
In the Recovery manager you can perform a Factory Image recovery to return your notebook to the state it was delivered to you.
