Hello,
I use Nokia Suite 3.2.100 and Nokia E52. Nokia Suite found a newer version of software for my E52. Downloading complete succesfully, creating backup before installing also, than I see - "Preparing for installation" and after few seconds appears a message with na error code: 12017 ("there was a problem with Nokia Suite. Try to do it again later. Reinstall Nokia Suite if problem will show again" - this is my translation from polish language).
I already use this version of Nokia Suite to upgrade my phone software and ther was no problem. I didn't do anything with my laptop since that time. Phone works ok, laptopo also, other functions of Nokia Suite also.

Sorry for very late response - It was very busy time at work for me...
I prepared a log file for you doing the same things as before but right now I could upgrade my software on E52... Very strange, because I didn't do anything special before last time, apart from Windows updates. I cannot help sending a log file and I'm happy that I finally upgrade my phone software, but in my opinion problem still exist (according to other post on this forum).
I will try to do an upgrade on my other phone Nokia 5230 and see what's happen.
Anyway - thanks a lot for help and your time!

This can occur if you bought the machine used and iLife was reinstalled with another AppleID.
This also can occur if the "free apps" you downloaded have paid upgraded versions and/or are now payware and you can't get updates.
All software from MAS is copy protected, it might be free as in "no charge" but it's not free in the sense you can share it with others.

N8-00 error code 12017 while trying to update soft...

I can not update n8-00 software, keep getting error code 12017after a few second of install, I have got latest versions of ovi suite and software updater. Phone is unlocked. Son has same phone locked to Optus and he updated ok on same computer. Phone current ver. is 011.012, trying to update to 013.016. Any help would be great.

Why on earth do Nokia put out software that fails with error code 12017 and the instruction to re-install the OVI suite?
Using the suggestion of stopping the Internet Connection Sharing service worked but you would never of known that that was the issue despite the casual remark that "I just turned off ICS at Services and update worked fine".
One of the worst pieces of software I have come across, and it takes forever looking for a solution. Should of got an iPhone!

Nokia E63 won't update, error code 12017

I can't update my Nokia E63 using the ovi suite software.
After doing a complete memory wipe, the same error code appears during the update process.
I select update 501.21.001, hit install... but before the download can even begin I get error code 12017.
After googling issue, I see many many people have had this issue. I have tried all solutions, including installing the Nokia PC Suite, then installing the software update from there. I have also tried disabling Windows ICS.
Is there any solution to this problem? Is there some way to manually update the phone's software without using Nokia's software suite?

I have exactly same problem.
I can easily update my e71 (both with NSU and Nokia Suite), but can't do it with e63 - error 12017 in Nokia Suite and nothing in NSU (I see "First step" all the time).
I've tried every solution I found on nokia forums, I reinstalled whole software, drivers, turned off ICS, AV, firewall and nothing.
I have nokia suite v3.3.86, NSU 3.0.605 and nokia firmware 200.21.012 (latest is 500.21.009/501.21.001 !!)
I ran out of options.

I only add: I can manage e63 from nokia suite, I succesfuly made a backup of all content. So the phisycall connection works.

i have tried to upgrade the software and i get the 3194 error message, i have tried restoring and i got the same error and i also tried while in DFU mode and still got the same 3194 error message.

I've been attempting to do a very simple task that just isn't working. For a Data Flow Task action in SSIS, I am trying to export data from a single SQL Server (2008 R2) database table to an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx). No matter what I do, it
just keeps failing. The columns in the table match the column header names (in the first row) in the tab I select. Here is the output I get.

I kick-off the action and sometimes is hangs for a few seconds (20+ seconds) and sometimes it doesn't, but either way it fails. I tried this on a 32-bit machine, 64-bit machine, and still it fails. I tried an OLE DB connection to Excel and
that doesn't work either. I made sure that the connection string for the Excel spreadsheet is Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=[filepath\excelfile].xlsx;Extended Properties="EXCEL 12.0 XML;HDR=YES"; and still it doesn't work.
Now, when I switch it over to export to an Excel 2003 spreadsheet (.xls) it works! But I don't want it to go to the old Excel spreadsheet format, my requirement is to export the data to the new format. Is there a bug in the Access 2010 Database
Engine that won't allow me to export to the new Excel format? Otherwise, what can I be doing wrong? I set the Run64BitRuntime property to False and it still doesn't work.
My solution (so far) is to export it to Excel 2003 and then via the Script Task action use the Excel COM API (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll) for 2010, open the file and save it in the new format (.xlsx) and that works great! However, the client
doesn't want to install Excel on the database server! So what can I do when the Excel Destination or OLE DB Destination (to connect to Excel) actions don't work!? Please help!!!
Like I mentioned, if this is a bug, that would be great to know so I can stop wasting my time. Thanks again.

Alright, so you mean to say is that the driver is not installed. Isn't version 12 the 2010 Access Database Engine Driver? I did install that, and I also tried the 2007 Access DB Engine driver, and both don't work. What driver am I missing?
The connection string is correctly formatted, yes?
Also, when setting up the OLE DB Destination action and I have it point to the Excel spreadsheet, and I specify as the provider "Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider" and click on Test Connection, the connection is
successful. Wouldn't that mean the 12.0 version driver is installed?

Error Code 9004 after Lollipop Upgrade 4/15

Yesterday, my LG G3 upgraded to Lollipop (April 15th 2015).
Now I am unable to access my voicemail. I can see that it's there by the widget on my home page, but I keep getting the:
Error Code 9004
message and I have to manually retrieve my voicemail messages using *86.
AND, if I try more than once to access (not manually) via the widget, the icon no longer shows I have however many voicemail messages to retrieve.
I am not happy.

Let's get your voicemail functioning again! You're still able to access your voicemails successfully with *86? Did you previously access through visual voicemail? Have you attempted to restart the device and test again? I'd also navigate to your application manager and clear cache/data from the application. Please share some further details. Thanks!

well I have absolutely no idea why, but suddenly it worked! I have tried numerous times and always got the same error. Just tried again after I posted this question and presto...it worked! Perhaps patience is the key.

What is error code 45075? cannot load version 11.1

Tried to ugrade to iTunes 11.1 for a few times and get an error code of 45075. What is the code referring to?

Max i feel your pain. I had same issue. There is a fix. I removed itunes 7+ times as well. Everytime i put it back on i got error. After a ton of research i found out i wasnt totally removing ALL apple related programs. bonjour, and a few others weren't coming out. Apple has a link for how to properly uninstall all programs. Look that up. You will be taken by how much more there is. When i did that and reinstalled everything worked. You can also go to your program list in my computer to see all the apple stuff. Message me anytime if problem continues. This should do it though

I doubt that it will fix your firmware installation problem, but I did once have a problem where a "DS Plugin" became corrupt. The fix is to manually delete the bad program(s) in Application Manager (possibly in Control Panel -> Application Manager -> Installed Apps). This is perfectly safe. Delete "Contact Group DS Plugin" and probably "MMSync", too, then reboot the phone and reconnect it to Nokia Suite. The plugins should then install normally. I hope that helps.

IPod Updates with error message when trying to upgrade iPod software

We now have 3 iPods (2 3rd generation, 1 2nd generation), which are sync'd with a single iMac (running Leopard) with different checked play lists. When either of the 2 3rd generation iPods are attached, it indicates an upgrade is available (v1.1) but when selected indicates "problem downloading the iPod software for the iPod x. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation"
What configuration change is needed?
