Error code 13019

My iPod was working fine, until it told me there was an update for the iPod. I updated, but since i've done that it wont let me sync. I've attempted to put music on the iPod and through iTunes it says the music is on there, but on the iPod itself does not show all the music...
Another problem I'm having is turning it off. It will not let me hit the button on the top to turn it off

  • Error code 13019 after upgrade

Updated to 3 on my 3G and phone no longer had ipod tunes available. Put it in to resync and it took forever to back up, then, eventually it crapped out with an error code 13019. Checked these posts and tried the suggestion of unchecking all syncs; syncing, then rechecking and syncing. All this gives me is a new errror code 13014 which I really don't want to waste my time chasing down. Anyone got any ideas as to how to make this work???? Have had problems before when upgrading to a new version of software. Wonder if anyone tests these upgrades???? Help!!!

Got it!!!  I deleted all the music with an exclamation point next to it.  Then went back to the music tab on itunes and sync'd again.  Now no error and the songs don't get skipped on my ipod.  Thanks for the suggestions!

  • My nano won't sync and I keep getting the error code 13019

I had a computer crash and have been trying to move all of my itunes library over to my new computer.  I got that accomplished today, added new music and got my itunes library all filled up how I want it but now it won't sync with my ipod.  It says "This Ipod "Jessica's Ipod" cannot be synced.  An unknown error occurred (13019)."
Any ideas on what could be the issue here?  I've done all the basic troubleshooting including: resetting my ipod, making sure I have the latest itunes availalbe, restarting my computer, trying different USB ports and I even restored my ipod to factory settings to see if it would help.  Now all I'm left with is an empty Ipod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've done all the recommended steps from other posts similar to this and NOTHING is helping.

  • Can't sync to my ipod touch - keep getting error code 13019 (Windows 7)?

can't sync songs (or anything else) from my itunes library to my ipod touch. I keep getting an error message - 13019. Have gone back to sync options under devices but nothing seem to help. Although it appears to be an itune error message I think it has something to do with Windows7. The problem just started so I went back two months on a restore but it didn't help. At a loss.

Previously I read of someone who could not fill the last 70 mb of their ipod, and were worried about that.
The replies to that seemed eminently sensible in suggesting that the ipod needs certain amounts of free space in order to allow things like web pages and emails to be downloaded should a person use those functions. Because of this it was unlikely to accept applications and tunes to fill up the full amount of reported memory. Also the people who posted (who seemed to know what they were talking about), seemed to think that a bit of free space was a good thing
I would suggest that you might need to delete more, and release more free space before this app will sync, and perhaps might be better to free up a decent chunk to let the ipod function as well as it can

  • Unknown error code 13019

I sync my iphone to my mac mini (running 10.6.8)recently but after completing sync - it shows iPhone sync is complete in the iTunes bar at the top.
    Ok to disconnect.
However a window appeared saying - The iPhone "Mohdy's iPhone" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (13019).
I checked my computer it looks ok with the sync works fine - but this error 13019 ?? is irritating how can I get rid of this?

  • Getting an error code 13019 when attempting sync ipod touch to  G5 OS10.5.8

I have updated ipod touch, hadn't synced in awhile. Had new cd music about 5 or 6 new . Also had a message, you have purchases on your ipod which are not on your computer would you like to download them. I had said yes. I think these had happened. I was waiting to copy backup cds with Toast. Toast said system in use. So I went to ipod touch, highlighted and attempted to sync. Have any ideas what this is about? Thanks in advance. My G5 is primary computer for my new IPod Touch.

P.S. I have read other;s issues with same error code . So I deleted six voice memos even though they were not duplicated, As I had made changes to settings. I reset everything the way it had been syncing OK. No dice. Also, rebooted computer and tried again. It has accepted photos I put on yesterday. I unchecked podcasts. As my memory is getting full again.
But, since trouble shooting, my size of music and videos has halved on ipod touch. Nobody has responded yet. Please advise. I need to decide whether to keep Mobile me. Does anyone know if I can download Mobile me to my computer with all the photos on my ipod touch. They are all gone from Computer.

  • IPod Error Code 13019

This might be the most annoying thing on the entire planet.
I have restored my iPod (Nano, 5th gen) several times. There are no voice notes. There are no music videos. There are no corrupt files or files that have an exclamation mark next to them. I took off all of the photos and videos. I even went through my entire music list and tediously deleted all of the duplicate files (there were few). I have never put songs from a CD onto my computer/iPod. There is nothing wrong with the USB ports on my computer (which is a macbook, by the way), and I've tried many different iPod hookup cables, thinking that the wiring had maybe gone loose.
Nothing has worked. That stupid little "unknown error" alert keeps popping up. The worst part is, the songs I try to put onto my iPod show as "on" my iPod when it is plugged into my computer but the error alert still shows up. When I disconnect, the file is not on my iPod.
I don't have Apple Care for my iPod (I've had it for maybe two years?), only on my Macbook. I rarely drop the thing, and even then it has always been inside a hard plastic case ever since I bought it. It's never gotten wet.
I'm really upset by this. I really don't want to resort to having to buy a new iPod. I am not a fan of the newest generation of nanos and the Touch/Classic are too expensive for my limited student budget. I also don't want to have to go down to Apple and get somebody from the Genius Bar to overcharge me for plugging it into the system and checking out what's wrong with it/charing me for new parts/repairs or whatever.
If anybody has a solution to this, PLEASE help me out.

  • Error Code 13019--wont sync

I have read a ton of posts suggesting I uncheck voice memos, sync with no music and then resync.  I even restored my ipod.  None of the above has worked.  I need help, I am lost without my music.
Any suggestions out there would be great!

What are duplicate voice memo's? I am not aware of any voice memo's at most a duplicate one.  I did make sure the voice memo was not checked when it synced.
When I switched to a new used, it wanted me to start fresh with the music.  I have a ton of CD's that I downloaded.  Is there a way to do that without having to reload everything?
