Error code 15 without logs

Hi,
We have an ERP script that runs every 5 minutes. It runs successfully 99% of the time. The last couple of nights we have seen it fail during the 1:50 am run. The exit code is 15 and a log file is not generated. The ERP job never runs.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

External Hard Drive error code -50

After I boot my iMac, my USB external drive mounts and functions as normal. After the computer has been left alone for a period of time (most notably, overnight) the drive still appears mounted on the desktop, I can read it, but attempting to write to it (or simply trying to create a new folder) reports back:
"The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code -50)."
Logging out of the user does not fix it. I have to restart the computer to get the ability to write to the drive. Any ideas?

My computer never sleeps, just powers the screen down. I can't eject the drive because it claims it is in use. I can't repair permissions (the options to verify or repair are both greyed out, and the information screen in Disk Utility states "Can Repair Permissions: No").
I have multiple drives in an external enclosure connected by USB (it is a Century EX35SW8_SB8-E). Oddly, I noticed that only one drive had the "Owners Enabled" set to "Yes", so I changed the permissions on the other drives to match, but that did not change anything.

Internal Update Server Error Code help

I am trying to figure out why my internal update server wont connect past the certificate handshake. I can get it to work with a self signed certificate from the machine name but am trying to build a solution for my whole organization using our Root CA with a custom name for the particuler site.
Any information would be helpful or suggestion for an alternative to using the internal update server since it is near impossible to troubleshoot when i have no idea what these warning codes mean.

SAP not starting after crash: Terminateing With error code 12

Hi,
After system crash SAP is not starting normally. When running startsap under SIDadm puts out: /usr/sap/TST/SYS/exe/run/startdb: Terminateing With error code 12
startdb.log shows that:
/oracle/TST/102_64/bin/sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libsqlplus.so: cannot open shares object file: No such file or directory
I have checked - file and directory are present.
However - when manually starting DB under oraSID and then logging in as SIDadm and starting SAP - everything starts normally.
(Allthough SID is has been changed before - system also worked normally after SID change) I have checked userrights and groups , also profile - everything seems to be normal. Any ideas?

i have rebooted, restarted app ( no uninstalled though)

Error code -39 "How do I fix this please"

I purchased 3 films from Itunes, they started to download and then stopped, when I tried to resume download they will not download and I get an error code -39 asking me to check connection and try again. My connection is fine but I keep getting the same error code....
I have downloaded other films recently and had no problem.
I have hunted the WWW for an answer to remedy this error code but without any luck, can somebody please point me in the right direction to fix this error.

Maybe a bit beside the question, but it is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky, at least for a while, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Error Code - 43 - won't let me delete files

Anyone any ideas on how to get Leopard to let me delete some trash files please?
I have copied the contents of a graphics CD to a folder on my desktop.
Each subdirectory contains the PDF files I want and five autorun.* files for PCs.
I don't want to keep the 1,000 odd autorun.* files so I created an Automator action to find all the autorun files and move them to Trash - it fails.
So if I try to Move the files to Trash using Finder it asks for my Admin login and then reports:-
The operation cannot be completed because one or more of the required items cannot be found (Error code 43)
I am only selecting one file to Move to Trash.
I have searched for any insight into Error Code 43 without success.
Any ideas on how I can delete my files would be appreciated
Oh File info tells me they are Read Only but gives me no option to change it.
As the computer administrator shouldn't I have rights to delete files in my own Home directory?

OK managed to fix this by
Open Terminal
sudo bash
<enter password>
cd <folder with problem files>
chmod -R 7777 .
This will then fix the files copied from the CD so you can work with them on the Mac.
I am sure there is a better way because this problem has been around for years and I cannot believe this is the best way, but it go me going again.

The log entry was plainly reporting on fan #0 for processor #0 located on the motherboard of hostname `systemx`as viewed from the perspective of LightsOutManager.
Fans will fail. Replace the part.

The Radisson Hotel in Narita Japan uses Guest-Tek as its sign in for guests to access the internet. When I try to log on I first click that I want to use English. The next page has me either agree or disagree to the terms of usage. After I click agree I get a page that says:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to (website I try)
SSL received a record with an incorrect Message Authentication Code
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_mac_read)
-The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified
-Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site
(There is a button here that says "Try Again", it does no good)
I don't know who generates this page. Mine is the only computer in the hotel with this problem. I have contacted the web owners via phone who only give me a temporary fix; next time I am there the same problem occurs. I can not find the help menu they reference to report the problem. I'm learning what SSL means, but don't know if I can adjust my security to accept this web site. So far, this is the only place in the world I have problems with this computer and using Firefox. I understand that this may not be a Firefox problem, but any help would be appreciated. I'm rapidly running out of ideas. Thanks, Rick

First, I agree with Karol, use the AUR so that pacman can do its job. Second, when you do your make, there is no reason to run it as root (until you do the make install) For the initial build, it is much safer to not use root; plus all the files in your home directory will continue to belong to use, not to root.
But, try the AUR.

HT201250 Can I restore photo files from Time Machine without the use of an external drive? I'm trying to restore lost photo files and I see them listed in Time Machine (without use of an external drive), but when I try to restore I get a error code 36.

Can I restore photo files from Time Machine without the use of an external drive? While I was transferring photos back and forth from a thumb drive something went haywire and my IPhoto was wiped clean! When I click on Time Machine I see all the dated pages (without an external storage drive connected), go back to a date where all my photo files are there, click "restore", and I get the message: "The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in file cant be read or written (error code - 36)"

Thanks so much Terence. I tried some of the fixes from that page, but then discovered the suggestion to compress the Time Machine Back up of the original library and transfer it as a zip back to my computer as detailed here:

sorry about this, but I have checked on both of my two standalone servers(Running similar softwares and settings(host name...etc) independently) I can't see any service registerd by APACHE LISTENER.The only listener service available is for ORACLE8i under the oracle8iHome.
The only running service under the 9iASHome is HTTPServer.During both installations I didn't encounter any problems,everything ended succefully.Can you p'se let me know if this sounds Ok to you?
