Error Code -20 During iOS 5 Update

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5, but I keep getting an error code -20 during the restore portion of the update. I tried not performing the restore step, and I lost all of my pictures Is anyone else getting this? I have the original backup on my HD, and I can see some of the pictures, but they are all in hex.

Error: Indicates two revision levels are incompatible.Which Version of Windows Vista you have installed on your machine,OEM or RTM?
Please perform a cleanboot. A Clean Boot will allow us to isolate any device drivers or programs that are loading at startup that may be causing a conflict with other device drivers or programs that are installed in your computer.
1) Run MSCONFIG.EXE. (MSCONFIG is a built-in tool for Windows XP\2003 systems.)
2) In the Services tab, click "Hide All Microsoft Services" and click "Disable All".
3) In the Startup tab, click "Disable All". Click OK. (This will temporarily prevent third-party programs from running automatically during start-up.)
4) Restart the computer. Does the problem still persist?
If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.

After that please re-start "Windows Update" services.
You can do that by: type "services.msc" from a command prompt and find "Windows Update"

That error code produces no results in the public KBs. Therefore, the only thing I can think of is to advise you to activate advanced logging and see if that reveals anything useful to you.

we are running our EP60 on Solaris, and our knowledgemanagement.log is in /usr/sap/<portalname>/j2ee/j2ee_00/cluster/server/managers/log/portal/logs.
Perhaps your crawler log level is off. You can modify the level of logging under:
Configuration > Content Management > Global Services >
Crawler Parameters
I suggest you set the parameter Max. Log Level to error.
Another tip can be: Systemadministrtion > Systemconfiguration > KM > Index-administration iView, and application protocol.

Error codes 3014, 14, 11 while updating to iOS 5

Ok, I realize that the apple servers are down for updating to iOS 5. My problem is the fact that I cant even restore my iphone without getting at least 1 error code. The error codes are 3014,14 and 11. I have googled all 3 of these to find any type of solution and Im coming up empty. Another annoying aspect is that after I receive the error codes, I will get the "connect to itunes" message on my phone and when iTunes detects my phone, it says that its in recovery mode and needs to be restored before being used with iTunes. I have tried to restore it at least 20+ times but I keep getting the same error messages and codes over and over and over again.
So am I supposed to just sit tight and wait for apple's servers to come back online or has this update severely damaged my iphone???

Well after trying for 9 straight hours, I was finally able to get iOS 5 to work and update. In all honesty, the only thing I did differently was restart my computer. Now, I dont know if that is THE fix for all of these problems but after 9 hours, I was willing to try anything.
Once I restarted my computer, i started iTunes, plugged in my phone, got the usual error message that my phone needed to be restored. After that, it was smooth sailing from there. I just let iTunes and my iPhone do its thing and it restored and updated like nothing had happened. It even saved 99.9% of all of the stuff I had on my phone prior to the update. The .01% are safari bookmarks which werent a big deal. But all of my photos, contacts, app settings and evertything else was there.

Hi. I just bought Nokia lumia 710 and I have problems updating it. I'm using a Windows Live email account. The update starts smoothly with Zune, restarted my pc, loaded about 60%, stopped, restarted and gave me error code 80004005. Solutions for that code doesn't exist in troubleshooting pages in Nokia and windows. I need solutions that will work once and for all.

This update-issue is reported quite often on Microsoft Answers. One thread indicates an issue with the Nokia Lumia 710 itself. Therefore: In the Nokia Software Recovery Tool, what is your 7-letter code (Nokia Product Code)? No Windows computer or USB: The same code is printed on your phone. That code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together whether you have the correct variant, only with that code.
