Error code -2009--unable to publish or export movie

I have been using iMovie 09 for a while now without any problems. The footage I am editing and exporting into various types of files (avi, mp4, mov) have all worked fine but suddenly it stopped working and I am receiving this error code -2009. I have been trying to loook it up but can't find any answers that seem to help. The footage I am editing is from a digital still camera and is 640x480 VGA Video. The lower quality video seems to publish or export just fine (320x240) but the higher quality just stopped yesterday. Anyone have an idea what is causing this? I have about 40gb on each of my internal and external hard drives and, like I said, everything worked fine with both types of footage just a couple days ago. I have tried making new projects and re-importing the files but nothing seems to work. Tried restarting the computer. Searched for updates. All without luck. Anyway, I appreciate any advice.

Using strange file formats use to be a problem
eg .avi - is not a specific item - but a container that can hold material iMovie can use
and sometime (often) material coded in a way iMovie can't use.
Else - my old list on what to try
*Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows.*
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
• Delete iMovie pref file - or rather start a new user/account - log into this and re-try
iMovie pref file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences
and is named. *com.apple.iMovie.plist *
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
• Hard disk is untidy. Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple Disc Util tool)
• Garageband-fix. Start it, Play a note and Close it. Re-try (Corrects an audio problem that hinders iMovie)
• Screen must be set to Million-colors
• Third party plug-ins that doesn't work OK (not relevant for iMovie’08 or 09)
iMovie updated ?
QuickTime updated ?
Mac OS version ?
• Program miss-match. iMovie 5.0.2, up to Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK
• Program miss-match. iMovie 6.0.3 or 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
• Program miss-match. iMovie’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
From LKN 1935. (in this case = iMovie HD (5), I tried it all, but nothing worked.
Your answer (above) has been helpfull insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that
there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled
iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos)
to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before.

I have a PC with Windows 7. iTunes 10.5.2. I purchased 2 rental movies and have downloaded them a few times now. But when I press "Play" I get the error code 5103 - Unable to Play. This has been going on for 2 weeks.

All it says is to download the lasted vers in iTunes which I already have.
That's not true. It goes on to say:
"If you have the most recent version and are still unable to download your rental, you may be able to resolve your issue by removing the "SC Info" folder. To do so, follow these steps:"
... and then gives links to instructions on how to do so for your particular operating system. So best to proceed with the instructions for your operating system.

Error Code = -2009 and No audio

UGH! I'm so annoyed with iMovie right now. I was editing a video and all went well, played it back successfully. I then created a new project and started work on that. I then realised it had stopped playing sound when skimming and then completly. It was playing all the videos i'd made fine but without sound.
I then tried to export the one I'd made previously and it said ''Unable to prepare project for publishing'' and the error code above.
I now can't do anything. I exited iMovie, rebooted etc and its still the same. it even stopped previewing full stop at one point but is now still with no sound.
I even re-installed through pacifier to no avail.
Someone please help! I looked everywhere for the error code online and nothing. Am I the only one?

i have 9.2.0.7 db runs on SLES9 on host A. and i take full rman database backup to make a new database on different host ( host B ) with different file structure. ( sid is the same ) i had already 1 database on host B. after this duplicate now there are 2 database on host B.
i take daily full database rman backup on the new host for my new database and there is no problem. when i try to take extra full export backup i get an error ;

Error code -2009 while trying to share an mp-4 from Imovie with itunes. Has anyone encountered this before? It says that imovie cannot prepare the file for sharing because this error occurred.

it seems that Imovie needs to create thumbnails before exporting.
try to close and restart after importing the movie you want to export.
doing that you can then easily export that movie.

Load error code 3 unable to load front panel

Hi all,
Wrote a vi in 8.6 and saved it for 8.5 for collaborators. When they run it up pops the error code 3 unable to load front panel. Memory full. see attached picture.
Has anyone any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Attached is the code (zipped). Excuse the bulkiness of the block diagrams. It basically controls a rotation stage and makes an avi at specific times/angles. The motor stage is ActiveX controlled.
As I don't have access to the hardware I am writing semi-blind. However, when I did visit them and had a quick look at the code I could get it to work by quickly including the subvis into a new main vi and obviously compiling it in 8.5. (may be onto something here!)
Different versions of the labVIEW -> doing a group a favour; I have v8.6 they have v8.5, wrote it in v8.6 saved it for v8.5. I don't have v 8.5. I also have v 8.2.1 on a different machine. Saved it for v8.2.1 and it opened no problem in 8.2.1. Will send this version on and see how they get on. More likely to be forward compatible???
I agree that the optimal situation is 1) use the same version of labview and/or
2) they get someone to do their coding on-site!!!!
I think the corrupt front panel object could be true given that I could get it to work when the subvis were included in a new main vi on-site.
so versions 8.6, 8.5 and 8.2 attached.....

Failed to Open FR report With Error code 500 - 'unable to process request'

I am running a load test against PBCS service. The service is load-balanced with 2 managed servers : EPMServer0 and EPMServer1
When I put the loads with 60 VUs -- all visiting FR reports, the service runs without error. But when the VU# increased to 90, it began to respond with Error code 500 - 'unable to process request'.
I tried to correlate the FRLogging logs to the errors, and found during the time those error happens, there are logs like this:

It looks like the servlet failed to open the datasource connection while handling the FR requests. But there are several data sources. My questions are:
1) Which datasource is corresponding to the issue? Is it EPMSystemRegistry?
2) What is the recommended configuration for the connection pool max capacity setting? -- current setting for EPMSystemRegistry is 30
3) Whether it could be a connection leak problem as only 90 concurrent end user is visiting and it failed to connect?

Error Code -17400; Unable to create thread

Running TestStand 4.0. Test sequence calls many sequences that run as new executions and runs fine for up to about 8 units testing simultaneously. After that, I get a run-time error code -17400; Unable to create thread. There are no other details available. The steps that generate the error are able to create the new executions initially, but eventually fail once about 22 executions are running. I am monitoring memory resources and there does not appear to be any issues. Any troubleshooting suggestions? Thanks.

My test sequence has several test groups, each of which contain loops that create new threads (tests) for 48 UUTs. Thus the number of running threads does get very high. I was running into problems with Windows XP GDI Object resources once the number of threads reached about 200. I then modified my program into smaller test groups to keep the number of threads at any time to less than 150. GDI resources are no longer an issue, but the error -17400 unable to create thread happens after the first test group has completed and the second test group is just trying to run. Note that the second test group runs fine if I skip the first test group, so the sequence itself should be okay. I thought it might be a memory issue (even though there are no apparent memory issues seen in Windows Task Manager), so I set the "Unload after step executes" property for each of the new executions created. That did not resolve the issue.
I am trying to create a simple sequence to duplicate the error without using any of the actual test sequences that require test hardware, but have not been successful thus far.

ID CS3 "Error Code 5" Unable to open, file damaged beyond recovery. HELP!

System: Apple Dual 500 Mhz PowerPC G4, 1.75 GB SDRAM, Mac OSX 10.4.11.
I have a 36pg ID CS3 document, which is over 2gb because of embedded images. Workflow: create doc using links; when finished, embed all images then unembed to new folder to consolidate. then simply resave the ID CS3 file using the new links. sadly, having embedded, i was unable to save. so, i closed without saving. Now i am unable to open the file.
no problems before embedding, now get "error code 5, unable to open..."
I am painfully aware (now) that this is a bad workflow, as am i aware of several ways to improve this workflow. I do not need advice on a better workflow, i already know i did a stupid thing. i need help on how to recover the damaged file. quick. please. :)
does anyone have a workaround?

IPod Touch restore fail. Error codes 2009 1611. Help?

My iPod began being unresponsive as soon as I detached it from my docking stations, but if I plug it back in to either of them, it works totally fine. I tried to update the iPod, and restore it to original factory settings, but I kept getting error code 2009. I followed Apple's suggestion, (plugging it into a different USB port, and having it be the only USB connected), and then I got error code 1611. Everything with my computer is up-to-date and working, and the same for my iTunes. Anyone have any answers for me?! Please?!

I would try going to a different computer and restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod and then gong back to your computer to sync it.
