Error Code 2330 when opening/uninstalling iTunes

After installing the latest version of iTunes/QuickTime, I can no longer open iTunes because while thrying to "configure iTunes" An error mess age pops up that says:
The installed has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2330.
Then I click ok and a dialog box comes up that says "Fatal error occured during installation." I need help because now I cannot open iTunes at all. Also, the same thing happens when I try to Uninstall iTunes.

No one technologically saavy replied to me, but I did solve the problem and I thought I would share my own solution.
There was a corrupt file which popped up in an error message and we simply renamed the folder it was in and tried reinstalling it again and it successfully installed!

I have error code 2330 when I tried to download itunes 10.5. Different sites I have visited give different solutions and most seem to indicate removing the current itunes program then reinstalling the new 10.5. I did try to remove the program but it took a long time and I had to reboot the computer. Has anyone had the same issue and how did they fix the problem?

I was having this problem with my wife's computer today so I did a Check Disk from the command prompt. (start/run then type chkdsk) let it do its thing then restart windows and it does some other BS on the start up. Relaunch itunes and then retry to download. I went to the apple website and click on the download and saved the file to my desk top then ran it from there. Let me know if you have the same luck. -Mike

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Error code -50 when opening Logic virtual instruments

I'm getting an error code -50 when trying to open any of the Logic's virtual instruments, VIs from other brands open without a glitch.
I have searched the support forum but no results came back.
Please help !!!

The plugins access the key to check they are authorised to run (remember, the main plugins were separate purchases once upon a time). Obviously, if you are on a USB port/hub that's not agreeing with the XSkey, then communication is unreliable and can take the form of a number of different effects on your system.
That -50 error probably means the plugin failed to load, as the communication with the XSkey failed during the initialisation process.

I've tried to install updates to Quick Time from Apple downloads and continue to get an error code 2330, Problem with program. I tried to un-install Quick Time but can't even un-install.

The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

I had to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop CS6 as I was getting Error Code 16 on trying to open Photoshop CS6 in latest version of Mountain Lion OSX. Leading up to this error, I had had to open Application Manager using a temporary Admin Account as AM indicated that it didn't have write permissions using my normal log-on. (It had, including all cotents of Users/Library/application Support). Hopefully someone who has simmilar issues can help me out here? Thanks

The DF031 error can indicate a required file was either not available or the attributes for the file could not be read.
Make sure when reviewing your install log that you start at the bottom of the log file. If those errors are not reflected in the latest installation then they may have occurred under the compromised user account as opposed to the newly created Administrator account you later experienced a successful installation attempt.

What does an unexpected error occurred (error code -6584) when opening time machine

After a terminal hard drive fail in my 2007 imac which was backed up to time machine I tried to restore some data onto my replacement imac 2.9 late 2012.
I did this via migration assistant - it was a long process about 4 hours - so I went to bed and left it running.
When I returned to the imac I found I had my old programs back but none of the data assosiated with them - word but no documents, garage sale but no templates and itunes but no music...
This is my entire music collection of around 300 gig and all my Garage Sale templates which represent years of work.
Is there anyway to bypass or overcome the error so I can at least get the data mentioned above back?

To fix the error code -6584 you would need to verify and repair your Time Machine Backup.
Go to System Preferences > Time Machine.
Hold down the Option key on your keyboard and click the Time Machine menulet and then selecting "Verify Backups".

Error Code (-50) when downloading from iTunes

Im curious to know if anyone else has received this type of error message before?
I have never had any problems downloading season pass stuff from iTunes so this is the first time I've ever seen this. Ive double and triple checked all of my connections and everything is good. Speed test came back strong and fast so Im wondering if this is more of an apple issue.

You can turn all of them back on by selecting the Normal Startup option under the General tab of the System Configuration Utility window, but please note that this may cause the issue to reoccur.
If you are able to isolate the issue to a particular third-party software, you may wish to contact them to let them know of the conflict.

LabVIEW load error code 3 when opening VI with LabVIEW 2010

I got this error when I try to open a VI saved in 8.6.1 with LabVIEW 2009 and 2010.
The VI open correctly with 8.6.1.
It's appening with only one VI. All other VIs are OK.
Anyone experience this problem?
What can I do to get over this bug?

Hi I was having the same problem using ADE 2.0.
I contacted the LiveChat support (link button did not show when using Firefox 31), which gave me this link. http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/error-e_act_not_ready.html
After I edited the Registry and then restarted ADE I was able to ReAuthorize my machine. Hope this works for you.

Error Code 2330 When installing iTunes

A 2330 is most commonly caused by file damage. Try running error checking over the drive that contains the files that do not want to be deleted. (Usually the C: for QuickTime program files.
In Vista, try the following procedure. Go "Start > Computer". Right-click on "Local Disk C:" (Or whatever drive you've got your QuickTime program files on) and select "properties". Click the "Tools" tab. Click the "Check now" button in the "Error correction" section.
Do the disk checks find/repair any damage? If so, does an install go through properly afterwards?
