Error Code 2869 trying to install a MSI on Windows 2008 r2 member server

When I try to install the application with the MSI I recieve: the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869. Solutions I have tried but did
not resolve the issue:Run as administrator command prompt, create a batch file, run msiexec /i "MSI",turn off UAC, User Access Control
how can I attach the log file?

I would agree with Philippe.
If re-downloading the package does not help then you might want to contact the package creator support to report the problem and get a new package version.

Constantly getting error code when trying to install Photoshop CC!

I have been trying for the past hour to attempt to re-install CC. My PC had an error and had to go back to the last saved good image, and that was, unfortunately, before CC was installed. (Which was on the 10th) I have removed, reinstalled, etc. The cloud app multiple times as well as used the cloud cleaner. Along with that, I have gone into the appdata file on my PC and deleted the database file for the cloud app but still no luck once-so-ever. I have checked for remnants of the original CC file and can find nothing at all! The error code I am getting is below:

I've had an open ticket since Saturday night, unfortunately, I have had no luck in a response yet! I'm still holding out hope. I haven't owned any other copy of photoshop but CS2 a long time ago! Got out of it but coming back because I miss the creative freedom it allowed with website, content, personal documentation, photo, and artwork design! So I'm sorely disappointed at the issue right now, I seriously want to subscribe to the PS bundle, but it's just not going to happen if I can't even get it to install! Plus all this talk about fun stuff to do and re-learn in Photoshop is getting me even more impatient! Vicious circle, I tell ya!

Error code when trying to install Camera Raw update 6.6 to CS5 Extended

I am trying to install the camera raw update 6.6 to my newly purchased CS5 extended and I keep getting an error code U44M2P7, or U44M1P7. I really need to figure this out because it will not read the raw files from my Nikon D7000 without this update. Error code when trying to install CS2 -- it never asks for my serial number

I am trying to install Photoshop that I have to use for work - It's on a Mac. It allows me to do everything - including the install - and then stops with just seconds left and says to contact adobe. Adobe has been no help. I have noticed that it never prompted me to enter a serial number, which I assumed it would do. Can anyone help?

Unable to install iTunes ,it said about error code 2869.

I have a problem with my iTunes reinstallration. I try to remove the old one ,but it said about the error code 2869.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

I get the subject error code when trying to recover using either internal recovery or external DVD recovery disks. Will not boot - have tried replaing all memory, and new HD. (Do I have a motherboard or processor issue? The error code goes on to state "The instruction @ 0x74a005ef referenced at 0x00000114. The memory could not be read." (Do I have a bad motherboard or processor? Troubleshooting indicates it's not memory chips nor HD. )

This issue is with the recovery media on the HDD or the DVD media, some of the files may have become corrupt.
Is the recovery DVD you are using burnt from the system? if so you may want to try burning at a lower speed.
Also if you do not have a OEM version of the recover media you can order a set from HP.

Error 1603 when trying to install Acrobat XI Pro from Creative Cloud

I'm hoping someone can help me. One of my user is getting below error message when trying to install Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Creative Cloud. She's been able to install other apps such as Illustrator and InDesign without any issues.

Error Messages when trying to install, uninstall or run iTunes 9

I get the following error message when trying to Install iTunes:
The path C:\DOCUME~1\Frank\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP206.TMP\iTunes.msi cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.
I search my entire computer for the file but it's not there.
Then, when I try to uninstall the iTunes and start the install from scratch I get another error:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
Catch-22, I can't install or uninstall and when I try to run iTunes I get:
"The action is only valid for products that are installed"
Very frustrating but I'm stumped and I don't know how to proceed. Any help would be very much appreciated.

ok here is what you need to do:
go to the link below and download the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Facility.

once you have downloaded it, install it and run it from the start menu. once its up and running remove everything to do with iTunes (so iTunes itself, quicktime, bonjour......the lot). Dont worry about removing iTunes completely, all the music is still there when it works again trust me!!
ok once you have removed everything restart your computer, im not sure if this is a must but i did it.
next download quicktime from the apple website (go to the 'downloads' tab near the top. download and install quicktime and restart your computer so the new settings are put in to place ( i think it asks you to restart anyway).
go back to the apple website, 'downloads' tab and download iTunes itself. install that bad boy and you will be up and running with all your library intact!

I've been trying to install Safari 4 on Windows Vista. It gets all the way to the end of the install and then an error message pops up:

That can be caused by an underlying problem on the PC that can also interfere with Windows Updates.
Head into your Windows Update and open your Update History. Have a lot of updates been failing recently? If so, doubleclick on each entry to open a small window with some more information about the failures. What error message codes are you getting for the failures? Are they also 0x800736B3s, or are you getting different error message codes?
