Clear now. Your created recovery disk will not be supported on your unit. You need original HP recovery kit (708649-DH1) to recover your unit. Please share privately your name/address/phone and RCD kit will be shipped to you.

Unexpected Error code -43 when trying to use Time Machine

I purchased my Macbook Pro in September. At the same time, I purchased a 500gb Seagate Free Agent Go external drive. I finally decided it was time to put it to use and got this message when I attempted to start my Time Machine - Operation Could Not Be Completed - Unexpected Error (code -43).
Any ideas what's up with this? Thanks for any input!

But you can use the Pacifist app, from http://www.charlessoft.com/
If your Install disc isn't 10.5.8, you should then download and install the "combo" update, to apply the updated bits to it. Info and download available at: http://support.apple.com/downloads/MacOS_X_10_5_8_ComboUpdate
Be sure to do a +Repair Permissions+ via Disk Utility (in your Applications/Utilities folder) afterwards.
And, as far as my drive goes - The awesome Apple rep at Best Buy formatted it for me when I bought it!

My hard drive failed, and I had remembered to create a Recovery Disk (2 DVD) in case this happened. I wanted to use the same hard drive, to see if I could get it back and running, but I get a message, which is in Norwegian since I am living in Norway and that is where I bought it, which says:
"HPs kundestøtte
Denne datamaskinen støtter ikke systemgjenopprettingsmediet. Du kan ikke gjenopprette dette systemet med mediet.
0110 - C9C2SEA #UUW - C9C26EA #UUW"
Can there be a problem with the recovery disk I created, or is it because of the failing hard drive? I would not like to buy a new hard drive just to find out it will not work, and that I will be obliged to go and buy a new operating system for this machine.

Greetings:
I'm having a problem opening a PDF file in Photoshop.
This is the error message:

Searching the Adobe Forums, Knowledge Base, and even Google has turned up no results. Any idea what the problem may be?
My process has been taking a PDF file created from QuarkXpress (6.5) and opening it in Acrobat Pro (8.1.2) and doing a save as and replacing the current pdf. Then I open this new PDF file in Photoshop CS3 (10.0.1) and apply actions. No problems. Then I encountered this one file that won't open in Photoshop, but will open in Acrobat, Preview, Illustrator. I get the following error message.
I'm using a G5 PowerPC Mac (4 x 2.5 GHz Processor) with 6.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM for memory. Mac OS X version 10.4.11 (haven't switched to Leopard yet) Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium software package.

Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.
+"Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding."+

+THe mail server is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings."+
Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.
Looks like I will have to revert back to old OS.
