Error code -38... why?

Ok, this keeps happening randomly (or perhaps not...) when I'm working with an audio region i.e slicing, moving, copying etc. The project is a TDM based Logic 7 file that's been working fine up until now. I've just started using Leopard so that might the problem but I don't think so. I know that 'error code -38 returned by the audio driver' means '(system) file not open' according to a google search but how can that be? I re-boot LP8 and it starts to work fine again until perhaps 5-30 mins' later it pops up again and is very persistent until I re-boot.
This is dumping my workflow down the toilet!
Help would be greatly appreciated as always guys, many thanks in advance for taking the time.

I can't burn a CD. Error Code 4280 why is this?

I just purchased a CD of itunes. When I went to burn the cd onto a disc all it says is something about error 4280. I do have the current updated version of itunes.

Exactly what's the point of releasing this now if I can't get a search engine to go with it? I'm going back to 4. whatever & & you douches can call me when you get this figured out.

E51 Error Code and why

I have an intermittent error that keeps on coming up on my E51.This happens when I press the Menu Key.The phone seems to lock up and at the top a "C" appears every time I try to go into the menu.
What it looks like is a book then a "C" followed by my network which is O2-UK.
All other features work and by turning the phone off and on clears this.
Any help as this phone was a Christmas Present so not old.

This is an update to the problem.
Now when I sometimes press the Menu Key the Phone now locks up completely.
This means I have no access to any funtions.

Can anyone help me please? I have just bought a Nokia Lumia 520 and I keep getting this error message every time I try to download and app (even the free ones) - how can I troubleshoot this? I have re-set the password on my Microsoft account but this has not made any difference.

We believe the same issue happens with your Nokia account as you have mentioned, right? If yes, verify that the internet connection is active by browsing any websites via IE. If you are using mobile data connection, we suggest using Wi-Fi this time. For which Lumia phone is this, BTW?
You may try the below steps:
If you are unable to add your existing Microsoft account or create a new account, try the following:
1. Check the phone date and time. Go to Settings > Date+time and manually set the correct time zone, date and time. Try signing in again.
2. If the above action doesn't solve the problem, connect to a Wi-Fi network and try signing in via that network.
3 If the issue still persists, reset your phone in Settings > About > Reset your phone and run the setup wizard again. Be sure to set the correct date and time before trying to sign in with your Microsoft account.
Adding the Microsoft account may fail if the phone date is not correct. It may also fail if the network connection is not working properly or if the phone has got into a state where it needs to be reset.
When the date is wrong or the Microsoft account is missing, you may not be able to download the apps from the Store.

Linc. Only one hard drive displays this -50 problem. It is plugged directly into the computer but even though the answer i got (the link) only referenced iTunes, I DID unplug the hard drive and REplug into another port ON THE COMPUTER and even though it still is sllow to open when i click on it, the other problem seems fixed. Does all this mean the hard drive or (new) enclosure is faulty? In your opinion?

Error Code When Burning (Power calibration area error. (0x73, 0x03.)

I've been searching for answers to my problem and it seems like this problem has randomly popped up for many others like it has for me.
A month ago I randomly started getting this error code Power calibration area error. (0x73, 0x03.) when I tried to burn dvds in DVD Studio Pro. When I try to burn a DVD just from the finder options I get this error Code (Error code 0x8002006D)
But CD's burn fine for me.
I have been using the exact same discs that were able to burn before. They are 16x speed Memorex.
I tried relaunching the finder. I bought a Disc Cleaner today and i bought some 8x speed DVD's. I cleaned the Burner and I was able to successfully burn a 8x cd but still not the 16x.
Does anyone know the cause of this error code? Why would it just randomly happen?

Error code 1015 during restore

hi i have a regenerated iphone 3gs with the software 4.3.3 not jailbroken. 2 days ago i started haveing problems so i decided to restore but as it was almost done the restore stopped with the error code 1015. why and how can i fix it ??

Backup jobs for protected members are intermittently failing with the following error on the DPM server:
DPM failed to communicate with the protection agent on <DPM 2010 SERVER> because the agent is not responding. (ID 43 Details: Internal error code: 0x8099090E)
Why does the DPM server failing to see it's own DPM agent cause the backup job for another server to fail? One day a backup will work fine, the next it may fail; and the next back to normal again...
The following error is recorded in the Service Control Manager event log on the DPM server just prior to the above error:
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the DPMRA service to connect.

I have read these entire postings and see that my problems match most of the above problems.
I believe we have tried all of the ideas in this blog and lots of other ideas from other forums and internet searches.
We have about 80 small databases protected and set at 15 minute incremental and most will work but some fail. When they fail the most common, but not only error, is something like "DPM
failed to communicate with the protection agent on <DPM 2010 SERVER> because the agent is not responding. (ID 43 Details: Internal error code: 0x8099090E)". The alert is inactivated in the DPM Console, and the backups resume as normal."
Since later jobs are successful I thought all was well. All was well until I went to restore from incremental backups. We worked for two days (day and night work) to restore
from a corrupted virtual disk on our SQL Server 2008 R2. I suspect DPM had something to do with the corrupted virtual disk. All I know is that we never had this problem until installing DPM. Here is what we encountered when we went to restore
from the protection points:
* Restore jobs take a minimum of 15 minutes for jobs that are 45 MB or 2 GB.
* If you pick a backup from the list of recovery points that is not valid the job runs for 15 minutes and then "Failed".
* You cannot rerun the job because SQL Server 2008 has the table being recovered as <tablename> (recovering) and a retry will not work. Of course time is wasted while waiting
to see if it worked.
* Eventually you realize that even after dropping the table in the (recovering) mode in SQL that the restore point must be bad or possibly one of this failed recovery points.
* So begins the quest to start restoring recovery points one by one and 15 minutes by 15 minutes until you find one that actually restores to a SQL Instance.
* If you have 80 of these to do and you average trying three recovery points and each takes 15 minutes, not to mention the time to drop the table in SQL, well that time adds up to 3,600
minutes of trial and error. 60 hours of trial and error, wow not much of a savings using DPM over a SQL backup plan.
* And then you have to explain to your customers that their databases were restored but you do not know at what point the DB was restored.
All in all it seems like DPM concept is great but like many backups the backup plan looks good on paper but actually restoring a backup is quite a different matter.
I don't know if anyone has ever solved the problems presented in this forum but if they have then I wish they would post and if no one has solved the problem then shame on DPM.

am going back to sql management plans for my backups. I have never, in 10 years had a sql generated backup fail me. Never.

Error code 310 when I try to acces iTunes store or activate Home Share.

I have been trying to set up Home Share on my computer and I keep gettinto and error message that pops up and says "Error Code 310 please try again later" This has been going on for weeks and I just now noticed that the same error code happens why I try to login and make a purchase in iTunes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is probably due to a connection error.
I fixed this by navigating this route:
Control Centre > Network and Internet > Internet Options > Connections Tab > LAN Settings > Untick proxy server box (if ticked).
