What is wrong with this program. Major issues the past two days.

You need to give a lot more information if you want us to help you. Start with the Version of ID (including the patch number) and your OS, and what you are doing when you see the error, and the exact error text.
have you done any basic troubleshooting yet, like turning off plugins or background utilities that might be conflicting, undoing any changes made to your system just before the trouble began, or using a new user account on your computer as a test?

Remove the all the files from
/Volumes/Mac HD1/Adobe Encore Projects/BD/AuthorScriptHDMVSessions/
This will resolve this issue.
This happens if any file corrupted in Volumes/Mac HD1/Adobe Encore Projects/BD/AuthorScriptHDMVSessions/ folder

Thank you for the tip on exporting by media browser (large) from imovie. But of course, if it's not one thing it's another. Now that I figured how to export a large file from imovie, I have an idvd issue. I followed the instructions for burning from idvd and changing the encoding to professional quality and the burn speed to x4, but I am receiving an error that states the following,
Your project exceeds the maximum content duration. To burn your DVD, change the encoder setting in the Project Info window.
Project:
- total project duration: 79:04 minutes
- total project capacity: 4.327 GB (max. available: 4.172 GB)
Menus:
- number of menus in project: 1 menus
- total menu duration: 0:39 minutes
- total menu capacity: 37.370 MB
Movies:
- total movies duration: 78:25 minutes
- total movies capacity: 4.291 GB
I have searched in the idvd forum for similar issues and I am stumped at this point. I have tried deleting the encoding assets and re launching idvd with the changed preferences, and still the same error. I know you mentioned something about free hard drive space available, and I have very little left. 4GB to be exact due to massive hours of non-edited footage. I am not sure if this is why, but I do not recall ever needing free space to burn memory onto a separate dvd. I would be more than happy if I am wrong, and it would be a quick fix. Otherwise, the technical nightmare continues. It's all a learning process and your expertise is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Error downloading video (corrupted file) need help

I began to download the new quicksilver snowboarding film "That's it That's All" and when i was about halfway through the download i got an error message pop up saying that the file was corrupted and to choose the "check for available downloads" under the "store" tab to fix it. but after doing this numerous times i still am not able to download the video fully and its stuck about halfway. does anyone know how to fix this?
(by the way, the error report code is 8008 if anyone cares.)

At this time I don't know which is the wrongdoer but it's clear that the relations between the apps and the OS are not perfectly correct.

Error code -51when copying files

I am getting error code -51 when trying to copy files from one hard drive to another hard drive inside of my mac pro pc... all internal drives within the pc itself. I can get this far, but it does not tell me how to solve the problem..

a read/write error has occurred (-51)
Try running Disk Utility Repair Drive on the other internal drives.
What format are the other drives? Are they formatted as exFAT, NTFS, GUID, Apple Partition Map
It's possible the file is corrupt. Try dragging a different file to test.

I got this error whenever copy file from my external HD to my macbook (internal HD).
For more detail:
last week, i copy a lot of my folder to external HD then i format my macbook to install new MacOSX Maverick.
But when i copy my file back to my laptop, i got a lot of file with message:
The Finder can't complete operator because some data in "some file name here" can't be read or written.
(Error code -36)
I try to research a lot of time on google and apple support communities but i still can not solve this problem.
Someone, please help me and guide me how to solve this error because almost my file is my working data.
Some infomation:
My last version of my macbook: MacOS 10.9.3
New version installed on my macbook: MacOS 10.9.3
I just only copy file from my macbook to external HD without doing anything.
Then i format my macbook to install new MacOS 10.9.3
When i copy my file back, this error is happened.
I try a lot of way like dot_clean, disk utility verified, repair, ....

The files may be from the old user account and not accessible from the new one. I found this article, though see that it may not be current.:

In future, use Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner to make a complete backup of your system onto an external disk, before doing an erase/install. Then you can use Transfer Assistant to bring your data and apps across.

Error code 1007F after file with question mark?!

I have a 13 inch MacBook pro which is just over a year old. For the past week or so it hasnt been connecting to my university wifi network, eduroam. Then this morning, when it started up, I received a blank screen with a question mark flashing, which I know is an error with startup. I followed advice on here and got to the Internet recovery stage. I got past that and had to wipe my hard drive, and was in the process of reinstalling OS X Mavericks when I lost connection (it was tethered to my phone as eduroam wasn't working). I have since rebooted but when I get to the internet recovery stage I am receiving error code -1007F. None of the advice so far on here has worked. Please help?! (And please note that I am a 19 year old who has very little technical knowledge)

First, you need to get a reliable Internet connection, preferably Ethernet.
Install OS X Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.

Quicktime 7.1.6 Error Code Opening New File (-32766) HELP!!!!

I have tried Quicktime 7.1.6 in another account with the same
results getting the error code of -32766 just by trying to
open a New File, and when trying to open a QT Movie .avi
it says that it can't open the movie, other app's
like SteerMouse shows a icon of a mouse in it's
System Pref's window and now the icon is gone and it states
that it needs QuickTime and a Tiff Encoder ?
I installed several of the Plug-ins off Apples Web-Site
the other week I don't know if that is the problem
as this problem is occuring on my iMac 24"Intel
OS 10.4.9 and I have a MacBook Pro 17"
running the same OS and the Same version of QT
and it works fine but I DIDN"T INSTALL ANY 3RD PARTY
UPDATES ON THE MBP 17" EITHER ?
Please help as I use QT a lot and I need the other items
to work as they should also

Hi,
This error means "Bad component selector".
Components are the software elements (also called plug-ins, codecs, importers, exporters) that QuickTime uses to read the movies.
The problem would probably be solved by re-installing QuickTime, and deleting all codecs installed from 3rd party.

Error Code 5 - "The file...is damaged and cannot be recovered"

I'm working in InDesign CS6 on a MacBook Pro. I store my working files on a USB. Today I've been getting Error Code 5 messages upon trying to open any files that are stored on my USB. As I'm sure you can guess, I'm pretty nervous about this because I have a lot of work stored in this location... I've learned my lesson, fingers crossed someone has an answer for me!

Hi Peter - Thank you so much for your quick reply. I tried your suggestion of copying the files to my desktop and it's not working - I'm getting the same error. I was playing around with other files on the USB on my Windows machine and I'm finding that I CAN safely open Photoshop files, I CAN open safely SOME (not all) of my PDF files, I CANNOT open any InDesign files. Do you think the "INDDRecovery" is a good and safe option for me to try? I don't want anything to happen to the rest of my computer...I can't afford to lose anything else.

Using a Mac desktop OS X 10.6. I've made repeated attempts to update software. The download process for Firefox quits and a dialogue box pops up -- saying the new version did not download. File may be corrupt or unable to be decoded??. Process started by clicking on the New Firefox version is available for Free download on Mozilla home page.

More information - the popup box says:
Adobe Reader could not open 'Firefox 8.0-8.dmg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
The file was downloaded into my "download" folder? Is that related to the problem?

Brand New Desktop Giving Error Code - Critical Corruption

I just bought a HP All in One Touch 21 - 2014 computer. I have had it less than a day, and I just received an error message of "critical structure corruption" randomly, and it shut itself down. Should I take this computer back and receive a replacement? I only have 14 days through Best Buy to do so. I do not want a new computer that is going to keep having errors. Can anyone help me?
I have not installed any extra hardware or anything. It came with 8.1 on it, so I did not install that myself.

You might want to read through this thread for a remedy. Frankly, if the PC runs this way out of the box and HP doesn't have a solution then I would return the PC.
You can find the HP drivers here. Try the chipset driver first the reboot and monitor. If that doesn't solve the issue then try the MEI driver.

Why can't I close my OpenOffice? Getting error code 1712.

I open OpenOffice last night a couple times and had no issues closing it except once. I got the colorful spinning wheel and eventually had to just shutdown. I then downloaded Mavericks (which took like 3-4 hours) and when I went to install it, it told me I had to shut all programs down. It tried and I tried numerous times to shut it down, but I only receive the error code. No files will open and the program won't open or shutdown. How do I fix it? I've got an appointment for the Genious Bar on Saturday because I think I have a ton of issues with this laptop. This Mac is only 4 months old so I'm not impressed with Mac so far.

Is there a LabView example in the use of user defined error codes?

Specifically, I have a VI that tests four arrays of data against various high/low limits. I have pass/fail outputs for 18 tests. I'd like to combine these into an 'error out' cluster with appropriate error codes and messages, for which I've created an x-errors.txt file.
My first question must be trival - how do I just set the 'status' bit of the error stream to let the general error handler then look up the error desription from the file?
Secondly - I can't find an example of this in the technical resourses, amI missing something?

There is no example program. There is extensive help on how to do this. Here's the basics.
1) There are two ways to define user error codes in LV6.1. If you are using LV6.0 or earlier, only one method is possible.
2) The 6.0 method involves wiring arrays of error codes and arrays of error code strings to the General Error Handler.vi. These codes will be used to explain any error code which is undefined in LV's internal error code database. Error codes reserved for users which are guaranteed not to be used by NI are from 5000 to 9999.
3) The 6.1 method allows you to create a specially formatted error code file on disk that will be merged with the LV error code database each time LabVIEW launches. For help on this, go to LV's online help, and in t
he Index tab, type
"user-defined error codes, in text files"
(without the quote marks)
4) If you want to set an error into the error cluster, use the General Error Handler.vi again. Wire your error code value to the Error Code terminal (the leftmost-topmost corner terminal). Wire the name of your VI to the Error Source terminal, and wire "No Dialog" to the Type of Dialog terminal (left-side, near the bottom). The error code cluster that comes out of this VI will either be the error in (if one was set) or a new error code cluster with your error and the status bit set to TRUE.
5) The attached demo is written in LV6.0.

-->No users was locked & All users are maintaining perfect roles, no password problem.
2.Messages are processing successfully from Adapter Engine to Integration Engine and after executing all the pipeline steps through XI adapter the messages are sending to receiver successfully (File to XI Adapter)
3.But in the case of Integration Engine(After executing all the pipeline steps) to Adapter Engine the messages are failed with the above error code (XI to File Adapter).
and also can any body tell me what is the JRFC Function module which is executing in between these two.
Can any body give me the solution ASAP.
