  • Album Artwork won't load error code -609

I was loading album art for a song, when I accidentally disconnected from the internet. Now every time I try to get artwork from the store I get the following message: "Artwork for XXX could not be found. An unknown error occured (-609)"
This error code refers to a connection error, but I'm able to get to the store and browse through to the albums I'm trying to get artwork for. I know I can do all this manually, but who wants to do that?
How can I resolve this error?

I resolved this by logging into my itunes account in itunes (clicking my login id in the top right). this forces you to enter your password.
after doing that i could download artwork again.

  • Error code (-609) Please Help

Ok so I have a 3rd generation iPod Nano and I was switching computers so I burnt my library to discs because my music was everywhere and restored it on the new computer. I went to sync my iPod but first noticed that all my artwork was gone. I figured ok I guess the artwork doesn't get backed up so I'll just get them again. So I did the get artwork and for every single album it comes up that an unexpected error occured (-609). I don't want to have to go and manually do all the artwork. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello Shoe_80,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
I am not entirely sure why this happens, but maybe try this possible solution that many others have had success with:
    Sign out of iTunes store
    Quit iTunes
    Re-load iTunes
    Log into Store
And then re-attempt to retrieve album artwork
Or try either of the solutions provided in these links. Worth a shot.

  • Get Album Artwork error code (-609)

I just recently did a re-install of my Mac Mini. iTunes is up to date with the correct version, imported all my songs from my back up hard drive, however none of the album artwork transferred with the import.
When I attempt to "Get Album Artwork" I receive an error message: Unable to process album artwork for "insert album name here" could not find, an unknown error occurred (-609).
I have selected an album I know is on the iTunes store (Aesma Daeva, Here Lies One Whose Name Was Written In Water) and tried to Get Album Artwork for just this album. I receive the same error message.
What is this error and how can I fix it? Thanks
EDIT: I just found a similar issue on another thread, trying the solution now.

Solution posted in another thread worked for most of the files. Guess I will have to manually download the remainder.

    Hi
Error code 600 is an expected result. that means the Autodiscover directory is working fine.
What error is exchange logging in the application event log regarding users trying to sync phones? Are they domain admins at all? Inheritable permissions ticket?

  • Aerender error codes... Anyone know of a list

Is there a list of aerender error codes? I can't find one. I'm getting
"aerender ERROR -1712: AESend failed to send apple event at line 751"
on an aerender and would love to know what that means. It only started happening once I started using the -reuse flag. I tried the Making aerender 'setuid root' trick but didn't help.
    Anybody have any other ideas?
    Thanks!

hairgami_master - Did you manage to find any solutions to this - I too am running Snow Leopard (not server) trying to automate the rendering of some ae files. You're right on the intermittance - I couldn't figure out what was wrong (well thought was wrong) with my script. From looking at the processes it's looks at tho 3 are created in the one call - one to the core aerendercore.app and then 2 others to the aerender.
I wonder if it's meant to be firing 2 for the aerender - not sure but I'm getting over the
aerender ERROR -609: AESend failed to send apple event at line 751 message in a big way...
    Thanks for any update.

  • Cannot delete file from external hard drive (error code 36) in Finder, but Terminal is ok

I have a relatively new Macbook Pro Retina 15" and have a Western Digital 1 TB Passport.  I've been using the passport for about a year now without any problems on older Macbooks in my house.  I used to be able to read and write to this drive no problem.  I am using the Paragon NTFS for Mac software in order to read and write to the NTFS drive.  When I navigate through the drive in Finder, if I try to create a new folder, I do not have a problem.  If I try to delete that folder I just created, I get this error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “untitled folder” can’t be read or written.
    (Error code -36)
The folder has nothing in it whatsoever.  I just created it.  But if I go to Terminal and I run
    rm -rf "untitled folder"
This works fine.  Why is Terminal acting different than Finder?  This does not happen on my other Macbooks.  Thanks in advance.

Thanx for such qucik reply!!! The pages were great, it had an answer for my problem, but unfortunately it also involved me dealing with it only on the MacIntosh HD itself, not on mounted external drive I suppose... So it didn't work they say that there is an icon in the left corner indicating locked folder - I don't see any icon on it. It says you can untick the box to unlock the folder - there is no tick to be unticked. Finally, they say that if I don't have permition or rights I cannot delete it. But how do i change permittion which already says that i can read and write in it? So everything appears to be normal only I cannot delete it. there is not even any warnig telling me I don't have enough rights, it just requires the password and after me typing it in it makes the sound of scraping paper but does nothing more. I aslo had some problems with emptying Trash after being seemingly succesful with one file and had got so far to have them appear in the Trash (no clue how this one actully got there though..) I followd the advice and emptied the Trash with Terminal. The Folder is still there but it shows 0 Kb... So far so good BUT: It is still on the external drive, so I obviously only managed to copy it into the Trash!!! Phew, innit a bit too tight to poor owners, this macbook?? I want my rights back!

    Hi, All
i have a trouble about report generation.it seems the error happened at the "write UUT report"--this step is teststand report generation'DLL.

An error occurred calling 'Save' in 'Report' of 'NI TestStand 2010 SP1 API'
Access Denied.. Error writing to file 'D:\program\seq\xxx.xml'.
The file might be open in another application. If file access is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.

        How to fix it?
        Thanks a lot.

Hm, it looks like the file might be open in another application. If you see that file accesss is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.

  • There was a recent upadate on my PC, however it does not work. A error code comes up which says, min version is not compatible with max version. And I caanot open my browser. Please help.

I do a system restore which allows me to open my browser. Without this I cannot open my browser - the error code comes up every time.

    Do a clean (re)install
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    * Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

We're being forced to switch to Indesign 4 to keep a client happy and I understand this won't run on our G4. So.... we're looking at a 24-inch Imac, probably 2.66GHZ, 4 GB ram.  Is anyone else running Indesign 4 on this configuration? Any problems? T
