Error code DF023 won't install

Purchased Adobe creative suite 6 and Acrobat won't install. Getting error message

do a search on your hdd for quicktime and itunes files and delete them all manualy - also find out what files are installed that won't show on a "itunes" or "quicktime" search and delete them too
then open Regedit and search for iTunes and Quicktime and delete what you find.
restart and install iTunes again...
after a wierd error i tryed reinstalling itunes and got the same error. i did what i just said and all worked again
