We are on Exchange 2007
We have one database that will not mount. Whenever we try to mount we get the below error
Exchange is unable to mount the database that you specified. Specified database: EXG01\SG3-DB\SG3-DB; Error code: MapiExceptionJetDatabaseCorruption: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-338)
I ran the eseutil /mh against the DB & found the database to be in clean shutdown state. I moved all the log files and chk files to another location and tried mounting the DB but the very same error.

This issue indicate corrupted database or corrupted logs. I suggest you to check and repair the database or check and repair the database log.
1. Check the state of database by following command: eseutil /mh "Path of the database"
Ps: Default path of the database is “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Mailbox\Mailbox Database\Mailbox Database.edb”
Default path of the log files is “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Mailbox\Mailbox Database\E00”
2. If the state is in clean shutdown, move all the log files from the Transaction logs folder location and then mount the database.
3. If the state is in dirty shutdown, check if the log files that is indicated as Logs required is available or not.
4. You can run Eseutil ml “Path of the log file\e00” to make sure that the log files is required is in a Clean state. This command will help you check the health of all the log files in the location.
5. If the log files are healthy, then try Soft recovery with the command Eseutil /r e00 /l ”Path of log files” /p “Path of the database”
Note:
Make sure you make a backup of the database before attempting any kind of repairs
6. Once the command completes successfully, then mount the database.
7. In case the required log files are not available in a clean state or missing, either restore from a successful back up or perform Hard repair with defragment.

Most likely not. What's done is done. Make sure the hardware is OK or you will end up in the same boat.......
Make a copy of the DB and all the logs before doing anything.
Then you can do the /P - and it will take several hours.
Make another copy
Once that completes, then do a /D to remove the cut page links. That will also take several hours.

We have sbs 2011 standard. Yesterday. exchange public folder cannot be mounted. It show error :
An Active Manager operation failed. Error: The database action failed. Error: Operation failed with message: MapiExceptionCallFailed: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-501).
I run eseutil /mh. it tells me dirty shutdown. I then run eseutil /p. to change to clean shutdown. It still have same error. I try to use asiedit to remove public folder. It doesnot have delete option.

I think you could look into the Event Viewer to verify whether there are some related errors or warnings included. I think it could be checkpoint here. At the same time, you need to run the Exchange Best Practice Analyzer to have a general health check of
your server.
Actually, you could delete the public folder in the ADSI Edit if you like,
Open ADSI-Edit and got to configuration
Navigate to this path:
CN=Configuration,DC=DOMAIN,DC=LOCAL

Hi,
According to your description, your problematic database is in dirty shutdown state and your soft repair ends with errors. In this case, I'd like to say, the dirty shutdown state may be caused by that the required log files are missing. Thus, I recommend
you try the hard recovery by using Eseutil /p or

i have 9.2.0.7 db runs on SLES9 on host A. and i take full rman database backup to make a new database on different host ( host B ) with different file structure. ( sid is the same ) i had already 1 database on host B. after this duplicate now there are 2 database on host B.
i take daily full database rman backup on the new host for my new database and there is no problem. when i try to take extra full export backup i get an error ;

I am running a load test against PBCS service. The service is load-balanced with 2 managed servers : EPMServer0 and EPMServer1
When I put the loads with 60 VUs -- all visiting FR reports, the service runs without error. But when the VU# increased to 90, it began to respond with Error code 500 - 'unable to process request'.

It looks like the servlet failed to open the datasource connection while handling the FR requests. But there are several data sources. My questions are:
1) Which datasource is corresponding to the issue? Is it EPMSystemRegistry?
2) What is the recommended configuration for the connection pool max capacity setting? -- current setting for EPMSystemRegistry is 30
3) Whether it could be a connection leak problem as only 90 concurrent end user is visiting and it failed to connect?

Load error code 3 unable to load front panel

Hi all,
Wrote a vi in 8.6 and saved it for 8.5 for collaborators. When they run it up pops the error code 3 unable to load front panel. Memory full. see attached picture.
Has anyone any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Attached is the code (zipped). Excuse the bulkiness of the block diagrams. It basically controls a rotation stage and makes an avi at specific times/angles. The motor stage is ActiveX controlled.
As I don't have access to the hardware I am writing semi-blind. However, when I did visit them and had a quick look at the code I could get it to work by quickly including the subvis into a new main vi and obviously compiling it in 8.5. (may be onto something here!)
Different versions of the labVIEW -> doing a group a favour; I have v8.6 they have v8.5, wrote it in v8.6 saved it for v8.5. I don't have v 8.5. I also have v 8.2.1 on a different machine. Saved it for v8.2.1 and it opened no problem in 8.2.1. Will send this version on and see how they get on. More likely to be forward compatible???
I agree that the optimal situation is 1) use the same version of labview and/or
2) they get someone to do their coding on-site!!!!
I think the corrupt front panel object could be true given that I could get it to work when the subvis were included in a new main vi on-site.
so versions 8.6, 8.5 and 8.2 attached.....

Error Code -17400; Unable to create thread

Running TestStand 4.0. Test sequence calls many sequences that run as new executions and runs fine for up to about 8 units testing simultaneously. After that, I get a run-time error code -17400; Unable to create thread. There are no other details available. The steps that generate the error are able to create the new executions initially, but eventually fail once about 22 executions are running. I am monitoring memory resources and there does not appear to be any issues. Any troubleshooting suggestions? Thanks.

My test sequence has several test groups, each of which contain loops that create new threads (tests) for 48 UUTs. Thus the number of running threads does get very high. I was running into problems with Windows XP GDI Object resources once the number of threads reached about 200. I then modified my program into smaller test groups to keep the number of threads at any time to less than 150. GDI resources are no longer an issue, but the error -17400 unable to create thread happens after the first test group has completed and the second test group is just trying to run. Note that the second test group runs fine if I skip the first test group, so the sequence itself should be okay. I thought it might be a memory issue (even though there are no apparent memory issues seen in Windows Task Manager), so I set the "Unload after step executes" property for each of the new executions created. That did not resolve the issue.
I am trying to create a simple sequence to duplicate the error without using any of the actual test sequences that require test hardware, but have not been successful thus far.

ID CS3 "Error Code 5" Unable to open, file damaged beyond recovery. HELP!

System: Apple Dual 500 Mhz PowerPC G4, 1.75 GB SDRAM, Mac OSX 10.4.11.
I have a 36pg ID CS3 document, which is over 2gb because of embedded images. Workflow: create doc using links; when finished, embed all images then unembed to new folder to consolidate. then simply resave the ID CS3 file using the new links. sadly, having embedded, i was unable to save. so, i closed without saving. Now i am unable to open the file.
no problems before embedding, now get "error code 5, unable to open..."
I am painfully aware (now) that this is a bad workflow, as am i aware of several ways to improve this workflow. I do not need advice on a better workflow, i already know i did a stupid thing. i need help on how to recover the damaged file. quick. please. :)

On Startup After the Chime Hold Down Shift Then Release It When you see the Apple and the Progress Indicator(Spinning gear). This Boot Will take a Little Longer Than Normal.
If it Did Not Work Than There Might Be Something Wrong With The Disc Drive.

Error code 5103 "Unable to Play" with rental movies! Please help!!

I have a PC with Windows 7. iTunes 10.5.2. I purchased 2 rental movies and have downloaded them a few times now. But when I press "Play" I get the error code 5103 - Unable to Play. This has been going on for 2 weeks.
Please help!!!!

All it says is to download the lasted vers in iTunes which I already have.
That's not true. It goes on to say:
"If you have the most recent version and are still unable to download your rental, you may be able to resolve your issue by removing the "SC Info" folder. To do so, follow these steps:"
... and then gives links to instructions on how to do so for your particular operating system. So best to proceed with the instructions for your operating system.

After running adstrtal.sh with error code 0, unable to login

Dear All
I have successfully installed 11i on SLES 9. After installation, i was able to run the script adstrtal.sh successfully as root with error code 0. I get the home page with out any problem. When i tried to logon to the application, i get the following error message on the browser, when i click on the log on link on the application home page.
error message:
Internal Server Error(500)
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Any guidance on this problem would be very helpful.

My Apps Version 11.5.10.2(10.2.0.2 Database) on SuSe 9.0 server. I have applied ATG_RUP4 and Latest HRMS Family packes in this instance before 5 months.....all are successfull....Till Last Night..no problem...I am getting this problem from today morning...
GUEST user password is correct in dbc file and in profile option...
All services are up and running...
Today morning I got this error..when all the users login into apps...Home page is succesfully loaded...when we try to login into login page...it is throwing this error...

(1) I have run the autoconfig in all tiers
(2) I have compiled all invalid objects.
(3) I have checked the guest user password in all places..it is correct
(4) I am able to login via dev60cgi/f60cgi screen..
(5) I have checked the Application Database ID profile optin it is corect..
(6) I have checked the DBC file..it is having right values in that file..
(7) I have cleared the cache (OA_HTML/_pages)
(8) Recheced the issue...still getting same problem
Still I am unable to solve out this issue...
Please suggest to solve this...

Error Code 0x80072efd - Unable to resolve

I'm on an HP Stream 7 tablet running Windows 8.1 full. The problem is whenever I try to run an app (that came preinstalled, like "Mail" or "Store") and "Switch this PC to microsoft account" for the first time, the error message
"unable to connect to Microsoft etc" followed by "error code 0x80072efd" is displayed. I've figured out how to get Firefox working by selecting "No Proxy" in network connection settings. As far as I know, Windows is configured
the same way, no proxy. Everything seems to be configured correctly. Yet, I'm still encountering this problem. Google isn't helping and I don't know what to do. Please help.
