I keep getting this error when watching Netflix on my Macbook Pro (2011). WHY? Netflix has this up on its site
And quitting Safari works sometimes, but not all the time.
I'm running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, using Safari 8.0.4. I never had this issue before updating to Yosemite. I thought they said Safari was supposed to run even better than before when updating to Yosemite.
Been having this problem for MONTHS. Anyone else have this issue? Why won't Apple fix this massive Bug in their Safari program?

First, make sure you have the latest version of the Silverlight plugin.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

That is an error related to Netflix and mirroring. You should just use the native app on ATV. If you are attempting to bypass DRM and access another region it will not be possible to discuss much further.

Enable the Develop menu in Safari's preferences, Advanced.
When using Netflix, In the Develop menu, select User Agent>Firefox - Mac.
Or, you can just install Firefox and use that for viewing Netflix.

My mac is working fine. No noticeable problems. Then went onto netflix everything was working apart from the watching of the film and it popped up

MacBook Pro OSX Yosemite 10.10 (14A389), patched to current on all software (which may be the problem). Safari v. 8.0 (10600.1.25) with Silverlight plug-in 5.1.30514.0.
The only symptom (so far) is that Netflix refuses to play streaming video saying the device has a hardware problem. (The full error from Netflix is "Whoops, Something went wrong... Your device has a hardware issue which is preventing Premium Video Playback. Contact Apple Support for more information." And at the bottom of the window, Error Code: S7363-1261-FFFFD000.) Since nothing else seems to be affected, I'm betting on the Silverlight plug-in for Safari rather than an actual hardware problem.
Prior to installing Yosemite, I had no problem with Netflix. During the installation, I turned on File Vault. Thinking that might be causing Silverlight some heartburn, I disabled File Vault and decrypted the drive. No change.
My girlfriend has an identical MacBook Pro, running the same OS revision on the same network and is not having this problem. (This is what prompted me to turn off File Vault, since she did not turn that feature on when upgrading to Yosemite.) We have the same security software (e-Set) and the only other software differences I know of are that she does not have Pages or Keynote installed (they came with my Mac when I bought it, but when she bought hers they weren't bundling those programs into OSX). Since there was just an update to Pages, that install could have caused a conflict, though it seems unlikely. I only meniton it because it is a difference between the Macbook that works, and the one that doesn't.
Youtube and other sites using Flash don't appear to be affected, but I don't know of another site that uses Silverlight, so I can't test that. I've tried all the usual generic fixes, and so far nothing has resolved the problem. So (a) has anyone else encountered this, and (b) did you resolve it?

Things you might ask yourself; have I recently done a PRAM reset? Perhaps even a SMC reset? Who knows why but here's a solution to the problem. You can go to the Apple store and have them enter your serial number in using a piece of software they use or you can do it yourself. If you want to do it yourself you'll need to download this Apple part number 063-7137-A. If you do a search on the web you'll likely find a place to download it. I'd post a link here but I'm pretty sure Apple would get a bit upset. Once you've downloaded that file you'll want to burn it to a CD or if you're crafty enough you can also burn it to a USB flash drive. After you've done one of those you'll want to boot to the CD/USB and follow the simple instructions. I would take a picture of your serial number off the bottom of your Mac so that you'll be able to see it easier when it prompts to enter it.

Safari Error S7363-1266-4544350

Upgraded to OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and receive the Safari Error S7363-1266-4544350 ensure monitor is HDCP compliant and is not mirrored using Airplay when trying to watch Neftlix. Was able to used FireFix to watch Netflix without any problem. Therefore the problem seems to be with the version of Safari released with OS X 10.10. Maybe the version of Safari is missing a plugin?

I had this problem right after upgrading to Yosemite - I'm assuming a new Safari come along
NG5Y's fix worked very quickly - User Agent Safari 7.1.2 solved the problems instantly.
Either a genuine Safari problem, or perhaps Netflix not cooperating..

Cannot delete file from external hard drive (error code 36) in Finder, but Terminal is ok

I have a relatively new Macbook Pro Retina 15" and have a Western Digital 1 TB Passport. I've been using the passport for about a year now without any problems on older Macbooks in my house. I used to be able to read and write to this drive no problem. I am using the Paragon NTFS for Mac software in order to read and write to the NTFS drive. When I navigate through the drive in Finder, if I try to create a new folder, I do not have a problem. If I try to delete that folder I just created, I get this error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “untitled folder” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)
The folder has nothing in it whatsoever. I just created it. But if I go to Terminal and I run
rm -rf "untitled folder"
This works fine. Why is Terminal acting different than Finder? This does not happen on my other Macbooks. Thanks in advance.

Thanx for such qucik reply!!! The pages were great, it had an answer for my problem, but unfortunately it also involved me dealing with it only on the MacIntosh HD itself, not on mounted external drive I suppose... So it didn't work they say that there is an icon in the left corner indicating locked folder - I don't see any icon on it. It says you can untick the box to unlock the folder - there is no tick to be unticked. Finally, they say that if I don't have permition or rights I cannot delete it. But how do i change permittion which already says that i can read and write in it? So everything appears to be normal only I cannot delete it. there is not even any warnig telling me I don't have enough rights, it just requires the password and after me typing it in it makes the sound of scraping paper but does nothing more. I aslo had some problems with emptying Trash after being seemingly succesful with one file and had got so far to have them appear in the Trash (no clue how this one actully got there though..) I followd the advice and emptied the Trash with Terminal. The Folder is still there but it shows 0 Kb... So far so good BUT: It is still on the external drive, so I obviously only managed to copy it into the Trash!!! Phew, innit a bit too tight to poor owners, this macbook?? I want my rights back!

Hm, it looks like the file might be open in another application. If you see that file accesss is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.

There was a recent upadate on my PC, however it does not work. A error code comes up which says, min version is not compatible with max version. And I caanot open my browser. Please help.

I do a system restore which allows me to open my browser. Without this I cannot open my browser - the error code comes up every time.

Do a clean (re)install
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Can someone show me how it is possible to save an Oracle defined error code into a variable? What I am trying to do is when a stored procedure fails an Oracle error is raised, such as ORA-xxxx, then pass this code into variable to be saved into a log.

i know the issue,i can give quick fix, but in-order to make sure you don't get another glitch like this.
I would recommend, you to install the scheduler in another schema or another db.
Re-installing the scheduler schema tables will fix this.

TMS alert viewer error message also contains the following information------>command: TMS_MGR_READ_TRANSPORT_QUEUE
