Error Code: U43M1D204?
Can't use the update function in Photoshop CC2014 and Photoshop is no longer compatible with Lightroom
This condition was precipitated by constant incompatibility messages when exporting to Photoshop by using "Edit in Photoshop CC2014"
When attempting to update there were two different error scenarios. The first time a Photoshop update was successfully installed and at the end I got a message telling me the ACR update failed. So I tried to use the "Help" - "Update" function again to see if I could perform the failed ACR update. Again no success and also no progress bar at all, it just returned an error message. About 5 hours later I contacted customer support via text and while waiting, I decided to try the help menu update functon one more time. This time it did work, but I was still left with the nagging incompatibility problem between Photoshop and Lightroom that has been plaguing me for a long time, in short every time I choose the Lightroom - Edit in Photoshop CC 2014 either nothing would happen or I would get an error message along the lines of: "the version of ACR in Lightroom is not compatible with the one in Photoshop". No amount of upgrading or fiddling would fix this, which is nuts for a subscription software service, this should not be happening.
At any rate the tech support person took control of my computer and fixed the problem, though he didn't do anything that I hadn't tried many times before. I don't understand why this is happening and I'm sure I will experience it again the next Lightroom or Photoshop update. This is bad software architecture, when in Lightroom you should just be able to choose "Edit in Photoshop" and the default condition would be for Lightroom's version of ACR to perform the RAW conversion and send the tiff on to Photoshop. There should not be any discussion of compatibility between the two apps. If in Lightroom use Lightroom ACR, it shouldn't get handed off to Photoshop ACR where the chance for incompatibility is always high given that it seems Photoshop and Lightroom are not "calling" the same ACR engine.

PSE11: Camera Raw 7.2 Update - Error Code: U43M1D204
Hi all
I uninstalled PSE10 from my notebook (Win7, SP1, 32-bit) and installed PSE11. Afterwards, I went to Help - Updates in order to install the most recent raw update. However, nothing seems to happen afterwards. I see "currently downloading" but the progress bar does not move. After a while, it terminates with the following error message:
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U43M1D204
I uninstalled PSE11 and re-installed it. Also, I deleted the content of the folder in AAMUpdater/1.0/ but this did not make a difference either. Unfortunately, the update file is not available for download yet (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows).
I would appreciate if anyone could help me. I bought a new camera recently which requires this particular update.
Thanks & Regards
PaulDelete the folder 1.0 (or simply cut-paste it on Desktop for sake of not losing it, just in case the solution doesn't work) from following location on your machine and try updating again.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0
Error happens when AAM is incorrectly installed for some reason.
Let me know if this doesn't work.
Thanks

I had the same issue with one of Dreamweaver CS5.5 updates, it wouldn't update no matter how many times i redownload (using Adobe Updater).
one aspect is that, it takes its time downloading updates, but fails upon applying them, so links (accessing web) is not an issue here.
Also, looking at the error message, it says file size mismatch, and it appeard just ONE second after trying to download sig files
it's possible that, either sig file size mismatches what's written in webfeed file (or whatever "manifest" file as referred to in log),
or
dmg file size as written in sig file does not match the one dowloaded. as sig (signature) files are small, around 5k each. (could have been downloaded in less than one second).
I don't know why I haven't seen anyone else complaining from the same problem, though seemingly sig files are the same for same dmgs.
Or, I could have been the first to complain, and what I did worked for them too, hopefully -

Photoshop CC Update - Error Code: U43M1D204
After literally waiting all afternoon for Photoshop to download and install from the CC, I got an error message that an update could not be loaded. I tried then loading the update from within the software, and got this error:
Adobe Photoshop 14.2 There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
Anyone else? The application seems to work -- I tried it out. So it seems this in not so critical an update. It's immensely annoying after the painfully slow download of the program to have this issue crop up.See the following posting for aq possible solution

I have a relatively new Macbook Pro Retina 15" and have a Western Digital 1 TB Passport. I've been using the passport for about a year now without any problems on older Macbooks in my house. I used to be able to read and write to this drive no problem. I am using the Paragon NTFS for Mac software in order to read and write to the NTFS drive. When I navigate through the drive in Finder, if I try to create a new folder, I do not have a problem. If I try to delete that folder I just created, I get this error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “untitled folder” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)
The folder has nothing in it whatsoever. I just created it. But if I go to Terminal and I run
rm -rf "untitled folder"
This works fine. Why is Terminal acting different than Finder? This does not happen on my other Macbooks. Thanks in advance.Thanx for such qucik reply!!! The pages were great, it had an answer for my problem, but unfortunately it also involved me dealing with it only on the MacIntosh HD itself, not on mounted external drive I suppose... So it didn't work they say that there is an icon in the left corner indicating locked folder - I don't see any icon on it. It says you can untick the box to unlock the folder - there is no tick to be unticked. Finally, they say that if I don't have permition or rights I cannot delete it. But how do i change permittion which already says that i can read and write in it? So everything appears to be normal only I cannot delete it. there is not even any warnig telling me I don't have enough rights, it just requires the password and after me typing it in it makes the sound of scraping paper but does nothing more. I aslo had some problems with emptying Trash after being seemingly succesful with one file and had got so far to have them appear in the Trash (no clue how this one actully got there though..) I followd the advice and emptied the Trash with Terminal. The Folder is still there but it shows 0 Kb... So far so good BUT: It is still on the external drive, so I obviously only managed to copy it into the Trash!!! Phew, innit a bit too tight to poor owners, this macbook?? I want my rights back!

detail:
An error occurred calling 'Save' in 'Report' of 'NI TestStand 2010 SP1 API'
Access Denied.. Error writing to file 'D:\program\seq\xxx.xml'.
The file might be open in another application. If file access is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.
error code:-17205; Access Denied.
locationtep 'Write UUT Report' of sequence 'Single Pass' in 'SequentialModel.Seq'
How to fix it?
Thanks a lot.
BRHm, it looks like the file might be open in another application. If you see that file accesss is intermittently denied, you should try disabling the Microsoft FindFast utility.

I do a system restore which allows me to open my browser. Without this I cannot open my browser - the error code comes up every time.
Do a clean (re)install
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
