HI Doces174,
Unfortunately your printer has a hardware failure codes. I would remove the cartridges from the printer, and then remove the power for about 30 minutes. Plug the power in without putting the cartridges back in and see if the unit comes up. Reinstall the cartridges when the printer asks you for them. If this still doesn't resolve the error messages you will most likely need to replace the printer. You can call our technical support and check into the trade in trade up program at 800-474-6836.

  • General printer error ox61011beb on HP Photosmart HP C309n

I have an HP PHotosmart C309n connected to a pc running Windows 7.  It's also used on a Windows XP system through a wireless network.
Error Message: General Printer Error - Ox61011beb - refer to printer documentation
No changes made to the system - just got through printing 3 pictures.  Opened the media tray to insert more paper and got this error message.
I tried the reset (via HP support) - tried uninstalling and reinstalling cartridges - still getting error

    Hi there,
I understand you're getting an error code on your Photosmart C309n printer. I'm sorry to hear this has been happening but I will certainly do my best to assist you!
I am assuming that you have a Photosmart C309n with the error of 0x61011beb as you did not change the title, so if you have a different printer or a different error please post back with that.
I would recommend that you follow this Carriage Jam document as that is what the error code you're receiving is indicating. If that doesn't resolve the issue, please also plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to ensure the printer is getting all the power it needs to function properly.
Hope this helps, have a great day!

  • C7280 Error Code and Flashing Lights

Hi my C7280 all in one printer keeps turning itself on and all of the lights flash, the error code displayed is B04952C6.
Can anyone please help or is it beyond repair.
    Many thanks.

The codes your getting are caused by fatal errors in the firmware of the printer. The printer you have will determine the steps you can try. What printer are you using? I'm sure it's the same one as the original poster, but I need to be sure.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One , Mac 0SX 10.6.8 Error message:' pump motor stalled

HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One , Mac 0SX 10.6.8 Error message:' pump motor stalled' press (I don't recognise the icon!)
What is the button & what is the solution?

Hello, I don't have a floor model of that printer available and the manual for this printer does not mention the pump motor. But I would first try removing and reseating all the cartridges in the printer and power cycle the machine. If you are still getting that error message I would do a hard reset that involves removing the cartridges. No user settings are lost with a hard reset and it is a very common tool used to try to resolve a hardware issue with a printer.  To do a hard reset with removing the cartridges:
While the machine is powered on take all the cartridges out of the machine. Close cartridge access.
Then pull the power cord out of the rear of the Product, and then unplug the cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 20 seconds.
Plug power cord back into wall outlet and then back in the rear of the printer. It should power on by itself but after 10 seconds or so use the power button to turn machine on
Wait for printer to go through start up process and as it recognizes the cartridges are missing (the display panel will inform of missing cartridges) put them back in their slots.

  • Error code 403 on 5520 photosmart

Using a Mac computer and been scanning direct to email working fine and then suddenly getting a 403 error code - any advice on how to solve problem please .   I can scan to the computer.

    Hi @VV-11,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you are getting a connection error message when trying to use the scan to email feature of your Photosmart 5520 printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. I have included a link to another post that has the steps, with screen shots, on how to do this. Please don’t worry that the screen shots are for a Photosmart 7510 printer, the steps are the same.
If after setting a manual IP address and DNS servers you are getting the same error, Please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • Photosmart C7280 gives error B03FCC84

Photosmart C7280 gives error B03FCC84 and won't start

I am also getting printer error message oxc18a026.  What was the solution?

  • Photosmart C7280 errors

I have a photosmart C7280 all in one printer and I am getting a series of errors. First one is that even when not using it the following printer panel lights will all flash; statement; Photo menu; Red Eye; Print Photos; Auto Answer; power Button and card light. Also the printer screen panel goes blue with the following number on it B851FE84.
I have been on the HP support site and tried all the options to no avail - when I tried the disconnect power cable from printer and unplug the power lead, wait 15 secs and then plug it all back in the printer came back on but with a blue screen message on the printer B8080598.
I was using wireless connection but when I started getting these problems I turned the wireless off and hard wired it with an ethernet cable but the errors continued. I have downloaded the HP Diagnostic tool and that does not report any errors. Plus it reported I have the latest driver.
My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate and I have the latest updates on that.
Can anyone shed some light on this please.

Exact same issue for me as well. I purchased the C7280 printer for my father Dec 2008 and he calls me last week reporting the blinking lights and blue screen.
I find it very unfortunate that HP is not taking the time to at least acknowledge the numerous postings on this issue. Perhaps there is a design issue, which happens with technology unfortuately, but at least give all these customers some response before this goes viral on the net and causes more serious issues for HP.
As it stands right now, I will looking at throwing out a 2 year old printer and buy another. What happended to old HP printers that lasted several years without issue?

  • Error code paper mismatch for photosmart D7560

trying to print checks but error code indicates paper mismatch, does not match paper size or type...just spits out my blank check

I had this problem for so long and finally figured it out.  HP was no help except for the suggestion to switch it to "draft" quality.
Depending on your operating system, it will be different...  but basically... get to your printer's preferences ... Click on the "Paper / Quality" tab... and make sure that "Paper Type" (XP) or "Output Quality" (Windows 7) is set to AUTOMATIC.  That's it.  In Windows 7 ... there are a little more steps ... For Windows 7 you might have to go to printing preferences, change media type to plain, click on advanced, and change "Output Quality" to AUTOMATIC.  OH YEA... AND MAKE SURE TO CLICK "APPLY" AND NOT JUST "OK".  It works like a charm.  In Windows 7 The "Quality Settings" will automatically check the "Custom" checkbox when you put it on AUTOMATIC.  That's good... that's the way you want it..  So, the Quality Settings "Custom" checkbox will be checked and you will see that "Normal" is still selected but it is grayed out.  Hope this helps somebody.  I was going to go on HP's site and tell them the same thing since they haven't figured it out yet, but I don't want to make a new account... I have too many accounts already.  If someone has an HP customer blog account... feel free to copy and paste this in there if you want.  Good Luck People .

  • PhotoSmart C7280 All-in-One Not Responding

    Printer = PhotoSmart C7280
    Situation #1
Printer screen displays message "Ink System Failure" with error code 0xc19a0035
    Situation #2
All lights flash - printer screen is blue with symbol (power) and message b03771de in white.
    Is this printer beyond  saving?
The printer may have suffered from a sudden power outage prior to these problems appearing.
PC - operating system is not relevant.

The same thing happened to me ... I tried everything.  If I turned it off and put it back on it would print or copy but thats it.  I finally just bought a new printer.  HP officejet pro 8600 e all in one.  Stay away from this one if you have to buy a new printer.  Its not half as nice as the C7280.  No preview when you print and you can't even pick which pages you want to print.  A lot of wasted paper and ink!  Seems quite a few of us are getting that error message from the C7280, maybe HP did something wrong and should compensate us for the malfuncuntion!  Now I wish I didn't buy another HP.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one problem printing. Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy--

I'm having a problem printing on my HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One. The following message is what came up on the printer screen: Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation Error O.cl9a0007.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    This question was solved.

Hey Spider! First off welcome to the forum.
I would recommend removing all the ink cartridges, unplugging the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer, and then shutting the printer off completely by removing the power cord. Then restart your computer. Turn the printer back on but leave it disconnected from the computer. After it has finished its power on cycle go ahead and insert the ink cartridges back into the printer and be sure to seat them properly.
After you have all the cartridges back in the printer properly then connect it to the computer. See if this resolves the issue. If not post back with any findings.
    Thanks,

  • HP C309a - Blue screen - C2FE0100 Error code- 7 blinking lights!

HP 309a - Photosmart - Up-to-date drivers, New ink too. Cleaned print head with alcohol wipes. Will not print. Control panel screen displays HP logo for about 7 seconds, then the display turns blue with white letters/numbers : C2FE0100, then same panel turns white but 7 panel lights flash. Flashing lights are on the exclamination mark, red eye removal, print photo, auto answer, power button, wireless network indicator and bluetooth indicator lights. Only way printer will turn off and on is by unplugging from power source. Printer makes no sounds when power is connected. Managed to print 2 test papers and they looked ok. Ran the HP Print Diagnostic Tool during that approximate 7 second moment before everything started blinking and according to it:, "No problems were found for HP C309a Series." Utility checks: Connectivity, Spooler, Driver, Device Mgr., Printer Online, Device Status, Print Queue, Conflicts, and Default Printer. Purchased March 2010. Within 10 days of purchase, had print head problems and it was replaced. Different error code received then. 2 Weeks from end of semester...not a cool time for printer failure!

    Hi there,
I understand you're having some issues with your Photosmart C309A giving an error and flashing lights. I will certainly do my best to help you with this.
Generally the error that you all are describing is caused by the firmware of the printer. The first thing I'd like you to try though, if it isn't already, is to plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to make sure it's getting all the power it needs to function properly.
Please let me know if this step changes anything, if not we will move on to a reset of the product. Have a great day!

    Hi british_eh
You could try resetting the printer, details here
Note though that the reliability of refills tends not be as good as originals, links below FYI.....
