Error Comitting to IPM server

Question

Hi,
I am trying to Commit a scanned document from the ODDC to IPM.
I have two profiles one is for the text file Commit and other is for the IPM commit.
So the dcoument is Scanned and committed to the text file folder, however it is erroring out while commiting to IPM.
I have checked IPM commit driver and is configured correctly.
Following is the Error from the log file:
09/04/12 11:08:08 AM ***Error*** Failed to process batch 24739977_24740011. Error Number: 40008, Error: Failed to commit batch (with delete). Commit Profile - Commit-IPM: The following error was reported by ReleaseDocument. Error Number: 429 Error Description: ActiveX component can't create object
Any one faced same issue, Am I missing something?

Check ODDC logs (..Document Capture\Logs\..) if there is any additional error related info. Regarding Java paths and versions, there is official and unofficial (confirmed practice) approach. When one have a problem, it's good to folow official troubleshooting recommendations and they ask for adding Java path to the Windows path variable and to have 32-bit Java version reported (java -version) and even to uninstall existing 64-bit Java,
BUT,
I have development Document Capture installed on the Windows 7 x64, with both 64-bit and 32-bit Java and no Java in the Windows path variable and my Java version is reported as 64-bit and still, all Document Capture functions work as expected. I think this is relevant to your case as ODDC committing is done by Document Capture part, which is installed as stripped down version in the ODDC package.
Whenever I find myself in the similar situation (everything done by the manual but things don't work) I choose to wipe everything and start from the very beginning, including fresh OS with no registry or somewhere hidden configuration ghosts.
