ERROR-CONC-DG-INACTIVE ICM DOWN

Hi,
We have inserted records at the backend.
In the front end when we run our journal entry the request field inthe report is NO MANAGER.
When I click on diagnostic button it says CONC-DG-INACTIVE ICM DOWN.
Please I need help on how to resolve this.

'ICM down' means that your internal concurrent manager is down.
Is there any useful information in the concurrent manager logs? What happens if you try to start the concurrent managers separately with adcmctl.sh?

Oracle GL error during journal import- ICM DOWN

Hi all,
I hit an error regarding the Concurrent Manager - Oracle GL during the journal import from GL_INTERFACE table. I've already populate the table with a set of dummy values. i've run the journal import to import the value from the table. i've clicked on correct and search for the Journal Import Data, but Oracle Application prompted me an error - FRM-40350: Query caused no record to retrieve, So i view the request, each and every of the request ID's phase is "Pending" with its status as "Stand by". I checked on the diagnostics and the error code was as following

i have 2 doubts.firstly i was thinking could it be that i couldnt search for the Journal Import data at Journal: import - Correct was due to the Concurrent manager was down, thus prompting error FRM-40350? please advise. Secondly is that does CONC-DG-INACTIVE ICM DOWN suggest me to startup the concurrent management script? please advise

check fisrt if there is any runing request and wait till finish if there no runing requeste try to restart the CM if that didnot solve you issue run the CMclean.sql script then restart the CM

Running Mavericks, I was trying to get messages to run ICQ and apparently I changed a setting that now causes me to get an error message and shuts messages down.

I am running Mavericks.
I was trying to get "Messages" to play nice with ICQ. it was sending HTML format to the receiver on the other end.
I saw online how to change the item typed to show up as plain text on the for the recipient.
Unwisely, I didn't follow ALL the instructions (where it told me to make a copy on my desktop "in case" and I changed one of the settings incorrectly.
Now when I try to start Messages up, it opens briefly, then says it encountered an error and needs to shut down.
I can remove Messages, but before I do, I can't seem to find a place to re-download it.
Any suggestions on the best way of handling this?

Hi,
Once you get to Lion (OS X 10.7) and higher the only way is to Restore the whole OS as several Apple App are included this way and are not available separately.
It should be just the .plists that are involved.
The com.apple.imagent.plist holds the account info as it provides a "listening" function on all logins before your start up the app.
I would delete this one as well.
If that does not work repeat the process and delete com.apple.ichat.plist itself.

I have the same problem, but being as you have had your account for 5 days by the time of this writing, I had mine for about a year. Recently, the security code showed up blank for the credit card I was using, and even when I used the correct security code, iTunes figured that it wasn't valid.
Thankfully, (go shopsafe!) it was easy to get another credit card for a dollar or two (I just want to update my free software for free...), yet this didn't work, for it again said that the security code was invalid.
Then, after a few tries, it said "Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Judging by other Apple forums, when this sort of thing happens, it's a problem on Apple's side, rather than my computer.
I came to this conclusion when I came to a forum that had a bunch of different people complaining that they can't buy music on iTunes. However, that forum was dated in 2008.
If someone finds contradictory information, feel free to reply to my post and tell me how I, too, could fix this.
And in case it matters, I am using a MacBook Air with OS X 10.6.8 and have iTunes 10.4.

Receiving Transaction Manager concurrent program errors out with INACTIVE, NO Manager

Hi,
We have an R12.1.3, 2-node (1 node Apps, 1 node DB) ERP system on Sparc 64, Solaris 10 Machines.
All the concurrent managers including Standard Manager and Receiving Transaction Manager are running fine.
When we are running the concurrent program Receiving Transaction Manager(RCVTPO), it errors out with Inactive No Manager error.
I am not being able to find any errors in the log files of CM or DB.
Could someone help me resolve this error. Its kinda urgent

Are there any errors in the database log file?
If the above didn't help, please run cmclean.sql and ccm.sql scripts.

Error: File Server Input is down while Export/Import the Unv from Desktop C

Hi All,
We have SAP BI 4.0 in Linux and installed the client components in Desktop. when we try to Import/Export the Universe to repository we are getting the Error: File Server Input is down and it's same with Webi Rich also.
We are suspecting the firewall is stopping the Data packets because the person who is working in the client environment is able to do these without any issues.
The main issue with PORTS and we are not at all sure which ports are required to be open.
If anyone has solution please let us help.

They use the ports you assigned during installation.
Tomcat ports are shown in tomcat's server.xml
The port set for CMS are in CMC > servers>properties of the CMS server.
The rest - simple follow instructions in the admin guide and you'll be OK.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Error While Posting the Asset Down Payment

Dear Members,
When I am doing Asset down payment through F-48, I am getting the following error.
Before that I would like to inform you that I created 2 GL Accounts. i.e. Down Payments on Assets ( Recon A/c Assets ) and Second GL A/c is Asset Clearing A/c ( With out Recon A/c ).
Further I assigned in T. Code - AO90, I assigned the Down Payments on Assets GL A/c and In Clearing column I assigned the Asset Clearing A/c.
Even though it is giving the following error.
Item category 07000 not allowed in accounting transaction 1000/0001
Message no. GLT2001
Diagnosis
The online document splitting is active in your system. Here, each document is assigned to a accounting transaction variant and each document row to an item category.
You determine for each business transaction variant which item categories can or must be posted here.
The following error occurred for the document you entered:
Item category 07000 in accounting transaction 1000, variant 0001 is not allowed.
System Response
The document cannot be posted.
Procedure
Check the document entered, the derivation of the business transaction variant, the derivation of the item category, and the assignment of the item categories to the business transaction variant.

Hi Sai Kumar,
Go to Document splitting node..
And check against the doc type that you are using in F-48, what business transaction variant is assigned in Classify document types for Document Splitting.
next go to the following node....
Doc Splitting->Extended Doc Splitting-> Define Business Transaction variants
and select your business transaction variant as defined above and copy that and give it a name Z001,
now select Z001 and double click on Assigned Item categories.., then select new entries and add 07000 Asset there and save.. it will give a warning message but just go on saving.
next go to the node Classify document types for Document Splitting again and enter this Business transaction variant againt the document type that u r using in F-48. AND it will work.
