When I connect onto my pc I get the error: cannot connect cause of an unknown error.
Who can help me?!

  • I cannot connect to I tunes store using I tune 11.1 I get the error 0x80092013 "secure link to I tunes store failed" does anyone know what this is?

I cannot connect to the I tunes store after recently downloading I tunes 11.1 I just get the error code 0x80092013 so not sure what to do. I have tried deleting and then reinstalling I tunes with no luck. I tried to flush my DNS but that did not work, I tried the diagnostics in I tunes and it told me my connections were fine but said the "secure link to I tunes store failed" Looking for an answer thanks!

Okay I was able to connect back to the I tunes store in I tunes 11.1 taking care of the error 0x80092013. I did this in XP going to the firewall controls, selecting the exception tab. I tunes was already in the exceptions tab but I deleted it anyway, then I added I tunes back using the Add Program button then browsing to the I tunes.exe location in the C drive then selected that as the program. I tunes showed back up in the exceptions once again. I then shut down the computer and restarted it and I then had a connection with I tunes. So the I tunes in the exceptions tab in the firewall was not working I just replaced it with a fresh one.

  • Unable to connect to i tunes radio "an error occured"

Every time I try to connect to i tunes radio, it says, "An error occured- please check your internet connection or try again later" I AM able to connect to i tunes store, and my internet connection is fine. I am able to connect to radio stations through the internet, just not through i tunes. Any ideas about what is going on?

I suggest you browse this forum.  This issue has been going on for at least 4 days now.  It happens to some part of the time, some for all the time, not at all to others. Some genres for some, others for others, etc. There's some things that seemed to help some people, though I suspect it was just coincidental or it solved a similar but unrelated issue.
It's not clear what the issue is, or where it lies.  If it's something to do with Apple's servers they are not likely to discuss it.  There was an issue like this a few months ago with the weather widgets and people kept on posting with no news until one day it suddenly started working, again with no news.  If you wish to, you can report to Apple.

Our computer crashed. It has now been fixed. I can no longer connect to I-tunes. My computer shows an error report everytime I click the icon. Please someone that has cured this problem share your knowledge.

  • Tried to download ios 7. Connected to i-tunes and wants to restore my phone - says its in recovery mode. No other options available. Goes near to success then always get error code 29. Have tried to re-set my security software etc.

My iPhone is now dead. Downloaded ios 7 by wifi on the phone. It then asked me to connect to i-tunes. I-tunes says the phone must be restored. Goes a long way down the restore and then get error code 29. I have tried turning off security software and firewalls as suggested by the Apple site but no difference. Can anyone help?

Spent hours trying everything suggested and finally this morning hit on a solution. iTunes must be run as an administrator. Even though you are logged into your PC as an administrator, using the iTunes shortcut does not make you an administrator in iTunes. I found this out by using the diagnostics in iTunes and reading through the results report.
I am using Windows 7, so I clicked the start button and right clicked on iTunes and selected "Run as an adimistrator". The first restore attempt got the 4013 error. I then did the DFU thing, hold power and home buttons for 10 seconds, release power and continue holding home for 10 more seconds.
iTunes gave me the restore message and I clicked it. I clicked the restore iPhone button and it started. The drivers loaded a couple of times. I got the apple logo with the progress bar and this time instead of disappearing, it started to fill in.
End result, a successful restore to factory settings and a happy 14 year old.
    Hope this helps others.

  • How do you shut off I Pad with full shut off and then reboot it as I keep getting an error message that I cannot connect with I Tunes Store

How does one shut off and reboot an I Pad? I think you have to hold button to the right for several or more seconds until a red arrow appears. I am not sure and I want to resume my connection to I tunes store and heard this is the best way for them to get back to me with certain info.

Thanks. I tried every method to reconnect to the I Tunes store since the error was cannot connect and I could not update or download apps, even tho the I Pad worked fine otherwise. When it re booted and re set the I tunes store message popped up and asked me for some credit card and other info. When they got it I was back in business and apps could download as before. I tried every other suggestion online and this was my last chance and it worked great. My router had to be re set the other day by turning it off and then on, and that's when all this started happening. Probably changed the I Tunes setting but I never thought it would affect the IPad in any way since all my othe computers worked just fine.
    Again, many thanks.

  • Getting an error at the i-Tunes Store

I just got an i-Phone 4 and started doing the set up on it.  Downloaded the program for the i-Tunes.  Attempted to use it and an error message came up as follows: "We could not complete your i-Tunes store request.  An unknown error occured (0x80092013).  There was an error in the i-Tunes Store.  Please try again later."  I am at a bit of a loss.
