Error creating a new Theme

Hi
I get the following error when attempting to create a new Theme project "A project with the same location already exists". This is the second theme I am trying to create, in my folder \workspace\NW04SStack10Themes dir.
As an aside the reason I am creating a second project is because changes I make to the original one have not been applied the steps I took were:
1. to Generate for all browsers and subdesignparts
2. To save the Theme.
3. to copy to the directory <install>\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\temp\webdynpro\web\sap.com\tcwddispwda\global\SSR\themes
I have tried these steps and stopping starting the server on many ocassions.
Help appreciated applying the updates to the theme by answering either of the questions above.

Try saving the Theme with the changes in a different location and check whether it is working fine.

Error creating a new Hyperion Planning Application

Hi Everybody,
I'm trying to create a new application in Hyperion 9, but I have a problem because when I configure the application in the wizard, that show me an error "An error ocurred while processing this page. Check the log for details".
When I review EAS I see the application but database is not create and the application in Planning doesn't appear.
I tried checking logs but I never found something (No error in the app server or Logs of application).
The steps that I followed:
1. Create a new schema.
2. Configure Datasource with new schema.
3. Configure App with wizard.

First of all you will only see the Application in EAS, the databases are not created until you create them from within planning.
What I suggest is you delete the application in EAS otherwise it will keep failing, then run planning in the foreground and not as a service, so start it up from the start menu, this way an errors will be outputted to the command window.
Then try again creating an application.

Database connection error | created a new datasource | web application

I am trying to deploy a J2EE web application on SAP Netweaver 7.0. I have to connect to a Oracle database schema (Not the default schema used by SAP). I am using Java and JDBC to make connections to the database.
In order to accomplish this, I created a new data source in Visual Admin. Referenced this in the web.xml and deployed the application. The application is deployed successfully, without any errors or warnings.
However, when ever the Java program connects and executes a prepared statement, I get this error in the database logs

Error creating a new site

I'm setting up SharePoint services on a single server that is not part of a domain. When I try to create a new web application on Port 80 (all other SharePoint web applications have already been deleted), I get an error message:
http://www.mydomain.com is already routed to the Default zone of another application. Remove that mapping or use a different URL.
where www.mydomain.com is the the domain name I'm trying to use. Everything works fine if I use the domain name but with port 81 instead of 80. Everything also works fine if I use port 80, but instead use http://computername instead of the domain name. There are no other IIS sites on port 80 and no other SharePoint sites at all.
What is wrong and how can I setup the server to use my domain name on port 80 for a new SharePoint site?

I had the same thing while adding and removing the same webapplication a couple of times over.
Solved it in powershell by rebooting the admin service and IIS (ofc :-))

Error creating a new user profile service application: The specified database is not a valid synchronization database

When trying to create a new user profile service application on a new SharePoint install I get the following error:
"The specified database is not a valid synchronization database"
The installation then fails and does not create the third database.
I found some threads with similar problems but it involved upgrading an existing db. In this case we want to create a new one. Here is the relevant ULS log info:

I Tried to create another one under a different name (databases also) and I get the same error.
The SharePoint instance has the march mandatory update installed. The sql instance we are using is an existing SQL cluster for other SharePoint poc's.
Has anybody seen this issue before?

I had the same problem and could not figure out what was wrong for the longest time. I then had the idea to check in the model system database to see if there were any extra custom tables in that database. Any tables that are in the model database
are put into any new database when it is created. I had some custom tables in the model database so I deleted the custom tables in the model database and deleted the failed user profile service application and its databases and then tried to recreate
the user profile service application again and it worked with no errors

Error creating a new BPEL domain in a 2 server environment with common DS

I want to create two new BPEL domains, one for production and one for test env
instead of using the default domain.
There are two application servers with BPEL PM (10.1.2.0.2) using the same
Dehydration Store. Active-Active mode, no cluster.
A new BPEL domain is created successfully with BPEL Admin Console in server A.
The problem is the server B knows nothing about the new domain. I cannot select
the new domain on BPEL Console login page on server B.
When I tried to create the same domain in server B the following error
occured:

Operation failed because:
Error updating domain index.
An exception occurred while writing the domain index (id"szolinfo", ref "1") to
the datastore; the exception reported is: ORA-00001: unique constraint
(ORABPEL.DOM_PK) violated
Please check that:
+ the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the
network.
+ the connection pool properties as defined in the application server
startup properties are valid.
+ the database schema for the OraBPEL server has been installed in the
datasource.
This is because the two servers are using the same database.
The new domain require a new folder and a lot of files also inside the domains
folder on server A and B. On server A this is created by BPEL Admin Console.
How to create the same domain in server B?
Are there any scripts/tools to use for this reason?

These steps on Server B resolved the problem:
1: cp -r domains/default domains/<new-domain-name>
2. cd domain/<new-domain-name>/config
3. Edit the following files by replacing the string 'default' with the name of your
new created domain in the following
elements/attributes:
archive-config.xml: <value>/home/mla/app/bpel101202/integration/orabpel/domains/de
fault/archive</value>
domain.xml: <bpel-domain-descriptor version="2.0.6" id="default">
4: In the case that the password for the domain is different compared to the default domain, the file 'auth.properties' has
to be copied over from the server where the domain was created.

I think there are some connectors that point to locations that do not exist any more. If you expand the locations in the location navigator and check the connectors under the location in the tree, there will be some that are no longer valid.

Error creating a new Data Source for Oracle connection

I'm trying to create a new data source connection to our
Oracle 10gR2 server using ColdFusion Administrator 6.1 Standard on
a Windows 2003 server.
I created a System DSN ODBC connection for Oracle. I can use
the ODBC connection when connecting an Access db to Oracle but when
I try to use it w/ ColdFusion Admin it generates the following
error message:
Connection verification failed for data source: sitest2
[]java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC
Driver][ODBC Socket]internal error:
Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException:
[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket]internal error:
Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The schema/user is system and the password is alpha-numeric, upper/lower case, no special char ...
As a workaround I was able to add the password to the entry in the datasources.xml file and restarted BI Pub.
The JDBC is working ... I can test the connection successfully ... just wont save the entry

Error Creating a new RoboSource Database

Hello, everyone. I just installed RoboSource Control 3.1
and am now trying to create a new database. I get the following error when I click the OK button on the Configure New Database window;
Unexpected exception :CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check related errors.
CREATE FILE encountered operating system error 5(Access Denied) while attempting to open or create the physical file 'C:\RoboHelp\testdb_DATA.MDF'.
This is on a Windows XP system.
Can anybody help me?

I recently registered for a trial system to check Netweaver Gateway and build some sample services. Unfortunately could able to create a new project and being challenged with attached error"You are not authorised to create a new project "
Does this mean the trial system/demo system only allows to consume the sample services but not create new services?

Created a new theme but no one else can see it in the workspace

I made a copy of a theme and modified it somewhat to give it a new look and feel. Right now it is only in the development workspace as a different theme ID. I switched one of our applications to use that theme. Someone else is trying to do the same thing and he does not see that particular theme when he chooses "from HTML DB Repository." We only see the themes 1-12, not the new one I just created.
Why is this? We also saw an option to choose new theme from import, but why would we need to import it if we are both using the same workspace? I am sure we will need to export to move to the QA and PROD workspaces, but isn't this new theme around SOMEWHERE in our development workspace? I am reading the documentation -- not finding the answer.

Thanks so much for the response. Yes, we had tried to do an export and although it worked, it gave a different theme number. Yet I will have to check out what you mentioned about making an application and subscribing to the templates. We do want to keep this standardized so that may be the answer.

What it is not seeming to like is the spaces between the words 'Base' Table' and 'Maintenance' in my project destination path. If I take these spaces out, I can create the project without a problem
The frustrating thing is, in the past, I have created projects in this same directory as well as other directories with spaces, but now I can't seem to anymore! I can't change the directory names very easily, our project structure is already set up, everyone else on the project is working with it and not seeming to have a problem. Is there an option somewhere that says 'don't get freaked out by the spaces, just create anyway'? Or is it something else that is wrong? Taking out the spaces seems to fix it, though I'd prefer another solution so I don't have to restructure and rename all of the directories we have already created.

Error creating a new VM on OVM Server using 'xm create'

Hi,
I'm trying to create VM using an existing config file bundled with the OVM distribution, like "xmexample1". I've also ensured that all the entries in it, such as, reference to the kernel image, etc. are correct. However, when I run the command
xm create xmexample1
it fails with the following error
Error(<domain-uuid>, "VM_Metrics")
I noticed that another user had a similar issue, but he was running into it occassionally. However, I'm running into it consistently. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Do you have ULN access? If so, you should run up2date on your Oracle VM server to get the latest version of ovs-agent. That has far more sensible error messages instead of the "vm_metrics" thing. Otherwise, check /var/log/ovs-agent/ovs_operation.log or xend.log to see if you can find anything more specific.

I have installed r12 in my personal LapTop.
Every thing looks fine..
For testing purpose, I have created a Shell Script and registered concurrent program.
While i am running this program, program is getting error out with below message.
