Error creating a web service standalone proxy

Hi all,
I'm new with Sap Netweaver Developer Studio (SNDS), so sorry if the question is too easy.
I wuold create a stand alone proxy for a web service created by a function module in R3.
I follow the help of SNDS but the project doesn't compile. The error is
This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.tokenizer.XMLTokenReader (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath) ZhrWsStrAnagInd2.java AnagIndStandAloneProxy/src/com/capitalia/webservice/anagind/types/p1 line 0
Where I can find this package? or the problem is another?
thanks for any help,
enzo

Hi Enzo,
Add <Install folder of Netweaver developer Studio>\SAP\JDT\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.tc.ap\comp\SAP_BUILDT\DCs\sap.com\tc\bi\xml\_comp\gen\default\public\def\lib\java\sapxmltoolkit.jar to classpath of your project (hope you know how to do it).
Best regards, Maksim Rashchynski.

• Errors creating a Web Service Proxy using Microsoft WSDL.exe tool

I have deployed a BPEL process using JDeveloper. This process can be invoked from the BPEL console and completes as expected. I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using the Microsoft WSDL.exe tool so that the process can be invoked from a Microsoft Word document. This process is based on the AutoLoan example in the Developer's Guide for Microsoft Office Interoperability B25781-01.
WSDL.exe returns the following error message
Error: There was an error processing 'http://erp.template.co.uk:8889/orabpel/default/HonorariumSmartDoc/1.0/HonorariumSmartDoc?wsdl'.
- The document at the url http://erp.template.co.uk:8889/orabpel/default/HonorariumSmartDoc/1.0/HonorariumSmartDoc?wsdl was not recognized as a known document type. The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:
- Report from 'WSDL Document' is 'There is an error in XML document (19, 7).'.
- A schema with the namespace '' has already been added.
- Report from 'DISCO Document' is 'Discovery document at the URL http://erp.template.co.uk:8889/orabpel/default/HonorariumSmartDoc/1.0/HonorariumSmartDoc?wsdl could not be found.'.
- The document format is not recognized.
- Report from 'XML Schema' is 'Expected Schema root. Make sure that the root element is <schema> and the namespace is 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' for an XSD schema or 'urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-data' for an XDR schema. An error occurred at , (2, 2).'.
How do I resolve this error?

• Error while invoking web services from Proxy services in OSB

I have a Proxy Service of message type in Oracel Service Bus 10gR3 and it passes the incoming messages from a JMS Queue to Business Service of Web Services type. This Web Service is hosted in Glass Fish v3 and it's binding style is RPC. The JRE used in both the servers are 1.6.0_20. The JMS message is of Text type. The Web Services at the Glass Fish throws MessageCreationException for any content of the JMS message. However, it works fine if Business Service's test client is invoked from the OSB'S Admin Console. However, the same will not work if Proxy Service's test client is called.
The detailed exception stack is given below :

Let me explain what I am trying to achieve. Our application receives data from multiple sources - from mainframe using FTP, JMS Queue and BPM application using Web Services. The data from all these sources are sending to a Web Service running in GlassFish V3. To handle this I have created three Proxy Services and one Business Service on OSB. The Business Service is of type Web Service using the same WSDL from the target Web Service.
The Proxy Services are configured as follows:
Proxy 1 (type - Messaging service) listens to the JMS Queue and receives JMS Text Message -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 2 (type - Messaging service Polls files from the FTP Server -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 3 (type - Web service) is invoked by the BPM application and sends a String -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
All the Proxies route to the same Business Service - B1 which calls the Web Service in GlassFish. The only Proxy that works fine is Proxy 3 which is created using the same WSDL of the Web Service. In the other two proxies it thows the same exception in GlassFish as I mentioned before.
com.sun.xml.ws.protocol.soap.MessageCreationException: Couldn't create SOAP message due to exception: XML reader error: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxEOFException: Unexpected EOF in prolog at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0] at com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.SOAPBindingCodec.decode(SOAPBindingCodec.java:359)
Is this configuration correct to achieve my requirements?
Once again thanks for the help.

• Error creating a Web Service. Help!

Hi, I'm triying to create a web service but when I try to test it or execute, it gives me this error:
ORA-20001: The webservice was unreachable because either the URL you supplied was invalid, your environment requires a valid proxy server address for HTTP requests, or a wallet needs to be configured for HTTPS requests.

The syntax is correct. The problem is that I can't create or config a Wallet, I read the tutorial to create a wallet but I can't upload it.

• Error creating a web service in NWDS SP18.

Hello,
I created a web service DC. It works fine when I test this with Web Services Navigator. I get the output as expected. But when I test it with Enterprise Portal Web Services Checker in NWDS, I get this error:
"The SOAP Message returned is not well formed

When I tried creating a web service using a simple J2EE-->EJB Module project, added to an EAR project and deployed, I see the same error. In both cases am able to successfully test on Web Services Navigator...
Any body let me know how to create a web service in NWDS SP 18...

• Error creating a web service client from th WSDL document (soamanager)

Hello everyone,
we have generate with the wizard a web-service using the function module BAPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_GET_LIST. Then we have generated with SOAMANAGER the end point. As test, we have used a web-service explorer of Eclispe and we can retrieve without problems the data.
Then we wanted to generate the web-servcie client with Eclipse Galileo (3.5.0) wiith the server GlassFish v2.1 Java EE 5 we first installed the WSIT jars, in order to support WS-RM protocol
We have started the generation based on the document obtainend within the soamanager under the "Open WSDL document for selected binding" link.
We have tried it several times and we always got the following error is:

Do you know if we took the right document in order to generate the web-service client? Do we need to have some specifics settings in the configurations of th endpoint? (provider security, transport settings, etc...?)
If needed, or if someone would be nice enough to try to generate it on its side, I can post here the whole wsdl document, but due to its length, I first wait your comments.
Thanks a lot in advance for your feed-back

maybe this should have been better posted within the forum Service-Oriented Architecture than standards?
I forgot to mention the following threads, which seems to me to be somehow in this direction. But I do not get really how I could use them, or how is is releated.

Guys,
You are asking about an issue that was a pain in the nick for me few months ago. The problem is that you won't find mych help here as I figured out that Apex geeks here either did not do much webservices or ended up hating it as i do :) . This is an error that can be due many different reason, let me ask you this:
1- Does your the other system you are trying to call through webservices using HTTPS ?
2- If yes, did you create a valid oracle wallet for that https connection ?
3- Make sure you are using the correct URL ( am sure you do, just double check )
4- If using a proxy, then you have to define that in the web service reference creation page
provide more info and I hope I can help you with this,
Sam
Please reward good answers by marking them correct or helpful!

• Proxy Error When Invoking Web Service

Hi all,
i created a web service from a session bean,
when i invoke the web service from my web browser it works great,
but when i try to invoke it from a bpel process, i get the following error in the Invoke Activity:
when invoking endpointAddress 'http://10.0.1.159:8989/EJB-Application2-Model-context-root/updatePayloadServiceSoapHttpPort', (502)Proxy Error ( The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). )
any idea what to do to resolve this issue?
thanks

It seems that your proxy server refuses serve requests for your private network (10.0.x.x).
Try to turn off proxy server in your BPEL. In devel server turn off proxy (or add this address to exceptions) in <ORAHOME>\integration\orabpel\bin\obsetenv.bat
and if you are using full AS, go to EM a change parameters for these server properties:
-Dhttp.proxySet=true
-Dhttp.proxyHost=yourproxy
-Dhttp.proxyPort=proxyport
-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=10.0.1.159|and rest of your exceptions

• Parse errors while creating a Web service from Java class!

Can anybody tell me please, is it possible to create a Web Service from java class where the input from user is required ?
I have the following program, which is successfully compiled, but when I'm trying to make a web service in JDeveloper, the following error occurs:
"Validation failed.
The implementation class primePackage.isPrime ofport type MyWebService contains parse errors."
import java.io.*;
import java.util.*;
class isPrime
public static void main (String args[])
Scanner reader = new Scanner(System.in);
int n;
System.out.println ("Enter a number you want to know is it prime or not");
n=reader.nextInt();
if (isPrime(n))
System.out.println ("True");
else
System.out.println ("False");
static boolean isPrime (int n)
int i=2;
while (i<=n-1)
if (n%i==0)
return false;
i++;
return true;

Hi,
Can anybody tell me please, is it possible to create
a Web Service from java class where the input from
user is required ?Yes, the parameters of your method will be mapped in WSDL.
But i've some considerations about your code.
I suggest you change the name of isPrime do Prime, its a good code convention to put the name of class starting with Upper case. and isn't good the name of class equals to name of method.
I suggest you to change the "static boolean isPrime (int n)" to "public boolean isPrime(int n)" to publish a method as a WebService method it's must be public and not static. After this change try to generate your Web Service.

Do you have java stack installed along with your ABAP on this

• Frustating errors while creating java web-service

Hey All
Me getting a frustating problem while making the webservice using Eclipse, jdk1.6.0_03,and Tomcat-5.0.
The overall scenario is like this.There is a class “WsEpp” of which I have to make webservice.”WsEpp” class is using the object of another class “EppService”, and if certain conditions will be fullfill then “EppService” class will use the object of another class “PrintClass”,which is allready using the object of class “PrintLib”.
“PrintLib” class is a long file and its using many classes which are in supported jar files.
Here is the some part of “PrintLib” where I am facing the problem,
Scenario-1
public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
Here I am using the constructor of the “PrintLib” and “epp_Command” is included into jar files.When “WsEpp” is running as web service then
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
occurs as the response of webservice.
Scenario-2
//public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
// this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
When I am commenting the lines as shown in scenarion-2,then the service is running well and printing CONSTRUCTOR 1 and CONSTRUCTOR 2 as given in println command.
And response of webservice gives the desired result.
Scenario-3
public epp_Command command_data = null;
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
By using scenarion-3 the service is running and printing only CONSTRUCTOR 1 as given in println command.And also
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
occurs as the response of webservice.
I am suffering with this problem from last 2 weeks.Kindally help me and provide me the some suggestions and tips.In case of any more requirement I can provid ethe whole codes.

• Error while calling web service from Forms 10g

Hi,
I have defined a web service and deployed at OracleAS 10g 10.1.2.0.2. Web services is working fine as per standalone invocation URL and also using a Web Service source in Portal (OmniPortlet).
I have created a web service proxy and imported the JAR file into Forms module via Java Importer. Created a button to invoke a web service and show results on message bar.

END;
Forms got compiled successfully.
However, while invoking a service by pressing a button, getting following error at message bar:

Is there anything that I have missed in the configuration? or what else is causing it?
