ERROR ctrun directory missing

Hello all,
When installing Netweaver 04s (7.0) EP (no ABAP stack), we got the following error:
ERROR: can't change to central Executable-Dir /usr/sap/TS2/SYS/exe/ctrun (No such file or directory)
Saw an old thread with the following titile:
*dp lib version mismatch-After kernel upgrade *
*Posted: Oct 20, 2008 12:47 PM *
but it was reported with an upgrade.
Does such errors happen during installations too? If so, can the approach in the thread be used to solve the problem?
TIA

Hi and thanks for the info...
I have done several installations and have never come across an error like this one.
The only difference in this case is that I specified to install the J2EE stack only and not the ABAP stack. Would this be the problem?
I saw a /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run directory but not a
/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/ctrun
directory
If so, then is there something one can do to specify the installation of the ABAP stack?
TIA

  • Best practice for data migration install v1.40 - Error 2732 Directory manag

    Hi
I'm attempting to install SAP Best Practice for Data migration 1.40 on Win Server 2008 R2 (64 bit).
    Prerequisite error
Installation program stops with missing file error
The following file was not found
    ... \migration\InstallationWizard\BusinessObjects Data Services\setup.exe
The file is necessary for successful installation. Please connect to internet or refer to Quick Guide (available on SAP note 1527151) for information regarding the above file.
    Windows installer log displays
Error 2732 Directory Manager not initialized
SAP note 1527151 does not exist or is internal.
Any help appreciated  on what is the root cause of the error as the file does not exist in that folder in the installation zip file.
Other prerequisite of .NET 3.5.1 met already.
Patch is released since 20.11.2011 so I presume that it is a good installation set.
    Thanks,
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
There are details on data migration v1.4 installations on SAP website and market place. The below link should guide to the right place. It has a power point presentation and other useful links as well.

When I execute this code den the sqlite_open commands works properly , it means it can find the database and opens it but it returns error om this line
    "if (sqlite3preparev2(database, chRecordIdQuery, -1, &sqlStatement, NULL) == SQLITE_OK)"
the value of int retcode = sqlite3preparev2(database, chRecordIdQuery, -1, &sqlStatement, NULL); is returned as 1 which says - SQL error or database missing .
Also , previously I used the same code in other project and there it ran succesfully.
I could not find out what is happening.
can anyone help me out ?

Try wrapping code that you submit to the forum in a pair (no slashes). It makes it much easier to read.
It is hard to say what the problem is without knowing what your db file actually looks like. Given that you've had success with this code before you might double check the db file that is in the simulator's sandbox for your application. You can go to your <username>/Library/ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator/User/Applications/<appropriate directory for your app>/Documents and your should see the db file that you are trying to select from.
You can check to see that it actually contains the schema and data that you expect with the command line tool: sqlite3. Run sqlite3 on you db file and then enter .dump. That will print the contents of your tables in the db.
In my experience, a problem with the "prepare" call is generally related to a mismatch between your SQL statement and the actual db's schema.
It may not help, but it is worth looking if you haven't yet.

    Greg

    Suhas,
After you registered your application as a SSO partner application did you use the information from Oracle SSO (home URL, success URL, Logout URL, app_name etc) and loaded it into the APEX_SSO schema using the regapp.sql script from the ssosdk?

  • IR Report Search - ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00936: missing expression

    Hi All,
I had created a IR report based on a table and it was working with no issues.  But after few days, when I try searching using the IR search bar it shows "ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00936: missing expression" error message. I don't see any debug messages or errors in the debug window. The Finder drop down is empty too, there are no columns displayed to filter.
When I recreate the IR report(new page) based on the same table, It works fine and there are no issues with the search.  But the old IR report search doesnt work. I have not modified the any thing in the old report after initial creation. Report uses Primary key based on a sequence.
What might have caused this issue?
Is there a way to intercept the search query from IR report?
    Apex version - 4.2.3.00.08.
    Any help on this appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jagan

Hi MK, as I had mentioned in my post, I don't see any logs in the debug window, query tab.
Can you please guide me how to check the query logs on search?
    Thanks,

    Hello,
I am using 11g impdp to create a test system.
I use this cmd to import
    impdp 'SYS/xxxxx@PWRFUN AS SYSDBA' dumpfile=PWRPROD.DMP logfile=PWRFUNimportPROD.log SCHEMAS=pwrplant TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE
Then I get this error for all the triggers

As you can see, the trigger does contain the word "before".
When I remove " "PWRPLANT"."APPROVAL_STEPS_HISTORY" " and run the trigger below, it compiles correctly. Why is this, and how do I make my impdp to run correctly?

  • ERROR: ORACLE prepare error: ORA-00936: missing expression

    Hello,
I am required to run "pass-through" Oracle SQL, to extract data from tables into SAS for processing and manipulation. My code (attached) reads and writes (executes) but with zero records to test first. I cannot get past the Prepare Error.
The query is very much like other queries that seem to work, but I cannot get past this prepare error. I have no other access to individauls with adequate knowledge of PL SQL, and as a last stop hoped others in the forum could quickly spot the source of errror.
Thanks very much in advance for any assistance.

    Hello Again ,
Wish Oracle was a bit more informative. Am using a SAS Institute Product called Enterprise Guide. A "hot fix" was installed to address an issue that the product appears unable to save the latest version of edited code changes (hence " BETWEEN between" remaining even after a prior edit). In any case, with the change, am now receiving this error:
" ERROR: ORACLE prepare error: ORA-00904: "PHRMCY_CLM_FACT"."LAST_SRVC_DT": invalid identifier". (Log file appears below)
-The error remains, regardless of whether one uses "pass through" code to pass the date range to Oracle (which looks ok from the log output below I believe), or if I hard code the date range into the PL SQL query itself.
-The Prepare error always appears at end of the inner SELECT.
-The Prepare error remains, with or without the GROUP BY clause.
Is there anything else here I am missing? Someone suggested a reserve word - but from other ANSI SQL versions, I do not see that is the case. I have consulted SAS Tech Support and SAS List Serve at University of GA. but nothing definitive from these sources. Have requested facility to be able to run Oracle directly, outside this SAS Institute product - in process.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone very much.
    Jeff

I cannot install iTunes.  I get a Windows Error 126 and missing msvcr80.dll.  I've tried uninstalling and re-installing based on all the suggestions, but still have an issue.  I've removed all the services, tried moving the dll files as suggested, but I still have no success.  Spent all day on this issue.  I am running windows 7.

Sorry to hear this isn't going smoothly for you. Try  Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may have seen some of the suggestions here before but is has taken some users more than one attempt.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610 - Error Code: " 0xc19a0013" (missing or failed printhead)

I purchased the printer (HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-one printer) in January, 2015.  The printer functioned properly - copy, fax, and scan, until two days ago.  Now, it does not print at all.  Received an error code: "0xc19a0013" (Missing or Failed Printhead).  An expanded version of the error code reads:  "The Printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  Error Code: 0xc19a0013.   The printer uses a removable printhead, HP Ink Cartridges 950 (black) and  951(cmy).  I have used HP Support Troubleshooting recommendations: all software and firmware for this printer is installed; the HP ink cartridges are not low or empty; removed the ink cartridges from the printhead and reinstalled them.
There are multible steps in the troubleshooting recommendation, but I stopped at removing the printhead.  Because of my technical inexperience, and there were too many ceveats (beware, caution, proper reinstallation, and etc.)  with removing the printhead that could cause greater problems.  So, I stopped at removing and cleaning the printhead.  Also, used the HP Printer Scan Doctor for assistance. The tool for cleaning the printhead doesn't work.   What troubles me most with the 0xc19a0013 error code is its explanation: The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  I can use all the help I can get to understand what is going on with the error code that I have received, and how to resolve the malfunctioning printer.

Thank you guig2! Followed your bleepingcomputer.com link above and found the problem was my permissions on C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local/Temp. It was not "Full Control" for my User or Administrator. Updated the two lines to permit full control for folder, subfolder and files. Ran perfect.

    Regards,

Look in the Reports Builder Help:
If you want to use lexical references in your SELECT clause, you should create a separate lexical reference for each column you will substitute. In addition, you should assign an alias to each lexical reference.
Does adding the column alias solve the problem?
