Hi,
Seems like n/w problem. Could you check the program RSHTTP80 in SE38. There you can find the reason if its mainly issue in n/w.

That should fix the problem

Error While defining the content server
Dear Folks,
We are trying to define the content sever in our sever. It is required for integration of SAP with documentum. We are trying to define in below path.
Cross-Application Components - Document Management - General data - Settings for storage systems - Maintain storage system -
It already have DMS_C1 content repository with storage type R/3 database. We are creating a new content repository with storage type HTTP Content Server. We are giving below inputs.
Vesion No. 0045, HTTP Server - (My machine's FQDN and port is 8080), HTTP script as - sap/bc/contentsever/300.
After giving above inputs, if I click on test connection, I m getting error as Error in HTTP Access:IF_HTTP_CLIENT -> RECIEVE1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED.
If I define the HTTP content sever as sap-qas.vsnl.co.in (i.e. My quality servers host name) it works fine i.e. connection test goes OK. Does any one know how we can define the content server and what all steps required for the same?
Thanks and Regards,
KedarHi Kedar,
YOu have to provide the details as fallows
Storage type : HTTP content server
Version no. : 45 (based on the content server version)
HTTP server : <content server IP>
Port Number of content server : 1090 (default port)
HTTP Scrip : ContentServer/ContentServer.dll
Once after these details you can check
Also install the DBM gui in your local PC and add this content servers database (if the content server is on MAX DB) then you need to star it from the console or else use the command to start it once after the installation.
/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -d <SID> -u control,plmcont db_state - to check the database status
/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -d <SID> -u control,plmcont db_online - to start the database
Thanks,

Error while starting the content server
Hi,
I have installed UCM and when i start the content server, it says it was succesful but logs show the below error.
Unable to publish the schema. Published schema directory could not be swapped into its proper location. [ Details ]
An error has occurred. The stack trace below shows more information.
!csSchemaUnableToPublish!csSchemaFailedToMovePublishedFilesIntoPlace
intradoc.common.ServiceException: !csSchemaFailedToMovePublishedFilesIntoPlace
at intradoc.server.schema.StandardSchemaPublisher.doPublishing(StandardSchemaPublisher.java:349)
at intradoc.server.schema.StandardSchemaPublisherThread.run(StandardSchemaPublisherThread.java:252)
ANy idea wats going on.
I have done the required changes in the confd of the webserver, Content server is accessible from the webpage. I am also able to login as sysadmin.
Not sure wats going wrong.
ThanksYou can sometimes get issues on the file system with file locking occurring and so UCM can not clear up/move the schema files properly.
It may not be this but...There should me a metalink note about this deleting schema directories.

HI
I installed the plumtree portal (PlumtreePortal_v5-0.exe) and Content server (PlumtreeContentServer_v5-0.exe). The portal is working fine. But When I completed the installation of content server I received the following errors, when I checked the diagnosticTests.jsp Which tells whether the installation is successful or not....

Possible Resolution is as follows.
The Publishing Target Browser Path is invalid. The item was published successfully but could not be found at the Browser Path. To change the publishing target right click on the root folder in Content Explorer and choose "Publishing Target". Click on the Publish Tab. Change the Browser Path to a valid path.
I am not able to find the Content server explorer. Please let me know how and where can I find these editor

ArchiveLink and External Content Server
Newbie question.
Well, we are going to try to implement ArchiveLink HTTP interface 4.5 for a DMS to be able to use it as certified external content server. We are planning to user java/jsp. We can specify content server as 'http://mycontentserver:8080' and in script 'contentserver.jsp'. That part I understand. SAP is going to call contentserver.jsp and will append a request like 'getDoc' to it along with other parameters like docId, contRep, authId, expiration etc. The URL will look like http://mycontentserver:8080/contentserver.jsp?getDoc&contRep&authId&expiration. Is it correct that the contentserver.jsp will have to parse these parameters and create a getDocument request understandable for the DMS? Secondly, what if the DMS is not storing documents in components? Do we then have to modify the underlying DMS architecture to make it support SAP document structure (one document can have one or many components)?
Regards,
-YHello,
Unfortunately I have no answer for you be a small question,
Where can be found information on ArchiveLink HTTP interface 4.5 implementation, I intend to do the exact same thing as you for our DMS system.
Thank you,

FMX2 - earmarked funds and SAP Content server
Hello all,
Need a help to find solution for the following issue.
Customer would like to have earmarked funds attachments save on SAP Content server u201Eout of databaseu201C.
So in detail, customer run FMX2 change document and from menu choose Environment > Object list > create attachments
Attachment is save on DB, so question is how to change this to save attachments on SAP Content server. And what is need to set up at transaction OAC3 to which Object type and document type is for attachment at FMX2.
SAP Content server is up and running also we have repositories u2013 this is not issue. Issue is only to fill in data at OAC3 with correct object type and doc. Type.
Thanks for any help
PeterHi, it's better to ask from basis team. In table maintained link between Document type and 'place' where you want to save your documents, it's not FM customizing

SRM and DMS Content server Linkage
Hi Every one,
have any one worked in DMS and SRM integration please provide some details how to integrate DMS Content Server and SRM,
also SRM is also using a concept of C-folders and it is expected to link the documents stored in Content server to be retrived by C-Folder users
Please throw some light on this Integration
Thanks and regards
Kumar KHi,
You will require SAP SRM - cFolder component for SRM bidding engine. For the content server you will require 2 content servers one for DMS and second for cFolders in DMZ zone provided you are working in DMZ zone for cFolders and this component is not directly installed over SAP application server.
The cFolders content server is optional but recommended.

Why is it looking for demotrust.jks file to start the Managed Server. We don't use the demo trust and cannot copy to the location it is referring to. I followed the solution provided at the below link:
http://serverfault.com/questions/106499/custom-trust-and-custom-identity-keystore-in-weblogic-10-3
There are 2 options given in the link. To update the boot.properties of the Admin Server and appending JAVA_OPTIONS to DomainEnv file. Both of these caused the failure of Admin Server. I couldn't bring up the server after these changes.I also came across posts talking about boot.properties for Managed Server. I don't see the security folder that has boot.properties for my Managed Server (verified it on both windows and linux boxes).
Thanks in advance.

I am receiving 2 errors 500 internal server error nginx and 404 internal server error nginx
I also cannot go from and email message in outlook to the youtube website nor can I get youtube.com to come up. That page gives me a 404 internal server error nginx. Until the last few days I have been able to get to you tube and have not received these errors.
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Some have been reported to cause these errors.<br />
Panda anti virus may cause the 404 internal server error nginx<br />
I can't remember which software can be causing the 500 internal server error, but it is usually caused by security software adding a proxy to monitor internet traffic -

Actually I m trying to install the Collaboration Manager component for which Folder_g is a prerequisite.
Thanks,
JitHi
I believe that you need to install the CS10gR35CoreUpdate bundle as well and then restart the CS to get it up and running. Let me know how it goes.

Hi All,
I am trying to write a Java utility that will create a document using Content Server HTTP API in a repository with security turned on. I use SAP SSF classes to calculate the secKey value for my request, but everytime I get HTTP 401 error and the Content server log contains following error:
Security SsfVerify failed rc=12, lasterror=18, decoding error for, PSE=
?\C:\Program Files\SAP\Content Server\Security\ZT1.pse,"
My algorithm is following: first I calculate the MD5 hash of the parameters:
byte[] digest = null;
MessageDigest md = MessageDigest.getInstance("MD5");
md.update(param.getBytes());
digest = md.digest();
Then I sign it using SAP SSF classes:
ByteArrayInputStream bais = new ByteArrayInputStream(digest);
// create object of ssf data
ISsfData data = null;
try {
data = new SsfDataPKCS7(bais);
KeyStore keystore = KeyStore.getInstance("PKCS12");
keystore.load(new FileInputStream("c:\\work\\PKI\\CS_NW1.p12"), "pwd".toCharArray());
SsfProfileKeyStore profile = new SsfProfileKeyStore(keystore, "cs_nw1", "pwd");
boolean res = data.sign(profile);
if (!res) {
System.out.println("Creation of signature failed");
} else {
ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
data.writeTo(baos);
result = Base64.encodeBase64URLSafeString(baos.toByteArray());
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
Is anyone here who has experience with the Content Server HTTP API in combination with digital signatures and could help me with my problem?
Many thanks in advance!
Best regards,
TomasHi Tomas,
I tried to implement the interface with C# and got same error as you mentioned above (Security SsfVerify failed rc=12, lasterror=18, decoding error for).
I'm not sure if my problem comes from the certificate which I created using makecert.exe or if I did somethime wrong signing the URL. How did you create your certificate?
Maybe you can see a major fault in my code. I tried it that way:
byte
[] byteArray = File.ReadAllBytes(@"C:\_xbound_ocf\Development\Dev\Binaries\Release\ENUtxt.pdf");
string docId = Guid.NewGuid().ToString().Replace("-", "").ToUpper();
string expiration = DateTime.Now.Add(new TimeSpan(2, 0, 0)).ToString("yyyyMMddHHmmss");
string accessMode = "c";
string parameterToBeSigned = ReplaceCharacter(_ContRep.Text) + ReplaceCharacter(_CompID.Text) + ReplaceCharacter(docId) + ReplaceCharacter(_DocProt.Text) +
ReplaceCharacter(accessMode) + ReplaceCharacter(_AuthId.Text) + ReplaceCharacter(expiration);
string path = @"C:\_xbound_ocf\Development\Dev\ProcessDirector\ArchiveLinkTest\ArchiveLinkTest\certs\DSAWithSHA1\MyUserCert.pfx";
X509Certificate2 certificate = new X509Certificate2(path, "alba&1");
DSACryptoServiceProvider provider = ( DSACryptoServiceProvider)certificate.PrivateKey;
System.Text.ASCIIEncoding encoding = new System.Text.ASCIIEncoding();
ASCIIEncoding encoding2 = new System.Text.ASCIIEncoding();
byte[] data = encoding2.GetBytes(parameterToBeSigned);
SHA1Managed sha1 = new SHA1Managed();
byte[] hash = sha1.ComputeHash(data);
byte[] signed = provider.CreateSignature(hash);
string secKey = Convert.ToBase64String(signed);
string url = _URL.Text + "?create" +
"&contRep=" + ReplaceCharacter(_ContRep.Text) +
"&compId=" + ReplaceCharacter(_CompID.Text) +
"&docId=" + ReplaceCharacter(docId) +
"&pVersion=" + ReplaceCharacter(_Version.Text) +
"&Content-Length=" + byteArray.Length.ToString() +
"&docProt=" + ReplaceCharacter(_DocProt.Text) +
"&accessMode=" + ReplaceCharacter(accessMode) +
"&authId=" + ReplaceCharacter(_AuthId.Text) +
"&expiration=" + ReplaceCharacter(expiration) +
"&secKey=" + ReplaceCharacter(secKey);
ReplaceCharacter is a function which replaces the invalid characters for url.
Best regards

Connection Settings between Content Server and DMS server
Dears,
I installed DMS server and Content Server,Now I need to do connection settings between these server.
Both are installed on seprate servers.
So please suggest what are the steps to set connection between these servers.
ShivamHi all,
I installed the Content Server with DB instance. ECC on AIX and the Content Server on Windows are on different domains and wanted to integrate. After the installation what I did is as follows...
I am trying to create the Content Repository using the Tx- OAC0, given the the following details as
Content Repository name--- DMS_xxxx
Document Area - DMS
Storage Type -- HTTP Content Server
Version -0046
HTTP Server --- fully qualified host name of the Content Server
Port Number --- 1090
HTTP Script --- ContentServer\ContentServer.dll
Physical Basic Path--- (initially) -
/usr/sap/<ECCSID>/SYS/global/
(modified) --- E:\ContentServer\ -
not available, thought it will create, even created later
Physical archive path --- SAME as Physical Basic Path
When I check the connection, I am getting an error "Content repository DMS_xxxx does not exists.
When I check Tx- CSADMIN-- it gives an error saying the "HTTP error : 4010 (authorized) ' Permission denied: adminContRep&configSet"
I am not sure what user should i use for this and what should be the information of ContentStorageHost, ContentStorageName and Storage need to be provided.
Please help me in this....
Regards
Krishna
