ERROR - CX_FQDN error received in running first Dynpro
Hi,
I am encountering the above run time error when attempting to run a dynpro application in my SAP system - which runs on VM ware from a lap top.
I have had a search around forums etc and have tried amending the icm/host_name_full in RZ10 but have not solved this problem.
I am hoping for some advice on how to best proceed.

OK, thank you for the advice so far. Just to clarify, as per e.g.'s in help, if I amend the icm/host_name_full parameter in rz10 to the following:
<host name>.<domain> <extension
This will then result in the url of the dynpro application becoming:
http://tdt.sap.de:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz__webdp3
Should the application work?

Hi,
I am reading "Sams Teach Yourself Java 6 in 21 Days" by Rogers Cadenhead. I am having a problem with compiling the sample program in the first part of the book, "HelloUser" which is supposed to print out "Hello (my name - Matt)" when run in the command line.
I receive this error when trying to run it after having successfully compiled it (I enter java HelloUser while in correct folder):
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main
I have correctly set the PATH and CLASSPATH settings for my PC (Windows XP). I am guessing that I need to define a "main" or something. I'm brand new to Java but am good with the scripting language PHP. Please tell me what I should do to correct this problem. Thanks in advance

Error received when running weblogic in cluster

I am trying out clusters to see what the benefit would be to our application but I keep getting an error in the background. I have obtained a test cluster license and it is loading it up on startup. Does anyone know what this error is or how to fix it? Thanks for the help.

Wh2robo.dll error received on running Winhelp 4 file

A colleague is experiencing a problem with his help file. On
launching the Winhelp 4 compiled file, this message appears. Cannot
find or load the file wh2robo.dll. This does not happen on my
machine or the other help author, but it does on others. The
message then goes away and a second error message displays: An
error exists in this help file. Contact vendor for an updated help
file (1024).
The file displays, but with these errors.
Any help is appreciated.

I am on RHX5, Word 2003.
wh2robo.dll appears in two different Program Files folders on
my PC (standalone): one is the RoboHelp folder; the other is a
project app folder in which, uniquely, I prepared the Helpfile
(otherwise I worked within a specific project folder within the
relevant Client's folder eslsewhere).
The two files are themselves different. The RH file is noted
as, yes, an Active Edit file, Macromedia, 76Kb and dated
25/03/2004. The app file has no accreditation, is logged at 40Kb
and bears the same date as does the final build of the relevant
Helpfile.
No others of my archived project files contains wh2robo.dll.
It isn't on the Ship List for WinHelp 4 (nice and short: *.hlp and
*.cnt only).
You don't say whether either you or your colleague has
wh2robo.dll; if so, where; and which RH version you are each using.
Perhaps you could let us know?

We purchased Licensed version of Red Hat Linux Oracle for our network server. My boss wanted a simple way of installing Samba on it so that the server can be used for file and printer sharing. We have an active directory on our network and couple of other Windows servers as well as other Red Hat servers. He wants to install Samba on that licensed version so that it can primarily be used for file storage and sharing, he wants to be able to connect with gui type interface to this server from windows machines and linux machines and he wants for this Red Hat Linux Oracle machine to show up in active directory.
Aparently when we went to Applications, Add Remove Software in Red Hat Fedora Samba was not in there.
When we go to System, Administration, Server Settings, Services, Samba is also not there.
Nowhere can we find an easy way of installing samba on this Linux OS.
I went to your site, signed in, (previously there was only 1 channel available there, I have just recently found and added all the channels that were aplicable to our system) and downloading them now to another version of the same type of Licensed Red Hat Linux Oracle. Hopefully when I use Software Updater in System Tools it will load the packages we are loking for (from the channels I selected on your website). Once that is done I think I could just go to add remove software and install the packages that I need from there.
I am still not sure why I set out to install repositories on this version of Linux, perhaps I mistakenly thought that once everything is installed (according to directions at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/linux/htdocs/yum-repository-setup.html) on the machine in question I would be able to use that same machine to get the packages for that same machine. We were in such a rush and desperate to put the server on to the network it did not dawn on me that this scenario is designed to have one serve on the network that holds repositories and other machines connect to it for packages.
I think I am on the right track in my logic, log in to your site with the CSI number, user name and password, select ALL the channels versus only one, save the search, then from the machine update packages, then add new software and Samba Should be in there. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
This version of Linux seem like a very reliable version of OS and I would hate to give up on it, especially since we already bought licenses for it, its just that we don't have that much experience with it and I would upreciate all the info that you can give us for it. I am sure that everyone at SMMJ will upreciate you for it.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

Microsoft Windows (32-bit) No That's not possible, if you would like to use this machine for Applications then the OS needs to be changed or install vmware/Microsoft Virtual PC with a Certified Operating system to be able to use Applications.

Is this a problem with my MBP or is there an issue with the AppStore servers? Is there an alternate way in Mountain Lion to look for updates if the problem is with the AppStore app itself?

CLI0615E Error receiving from socket, server is not responding.

We recently changed a web application using DB2 5.2 tables from ODBC to JDBC. We are using the COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.net.driver. We are using a
connection pool and running on iPlanet.
We are getting intermittant "CLI0615E Error receiving from socket, server is not responding errors". We have looked in the JDBC forum and DB2 support and cannot find a reasonable answer to this problem. It is NOT always on sql statements that take a long time to execute, so I don't think it is a timeout issue.
I read something about "stale connections". Does anyone know how to check to see if this is a problem?
When we first converted the app, we had a lot of problems also with "invalid handle or statement is closed" which we have determined was being caused by the user submitting the page again before it had time to finish the first time. We have put in javascript code to prevent multiple submits. Could this server not responding problem be caused by double submits that we have not located yet?
The error is NOT occuring on any one page, and the same page will run correctly once and the next time throw this error.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Usually this error code means that there was some problem while the driver tried establishsing a socket connection to the remote server. You could very well avoid this by tracking out what is preventing the socket connection.. it may be network congestion or some other onfiguration problems with the network, or with the DB2 server...
But if the same application could work perfectly with jdbc-odbc driver in same environment,then it needs some attention.either the ibm driver isn't throwing the error as expected by the iplanet or iplanet isn't acting as needed when such an error is thrown.
contact them and they may provide and explanation..

REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.

I am getting the following errors while trying to run a report script. The report was created in Report Builder.
REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
Reference parameter OT_RUN_DATE in the distribution list is invalid.
OT_RUN_DATE is a static field converting SYSDATE to a string (TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDD')). Unfortunately, I inherited this report and did not create it. I do not know what purpose it serves but would like more insight into what the reference parameter and distribution list mean.

Too many errors pushed on the stack
I assume this is related to the first error but am not certain.
Any help is greatly appreciated...

Web Server 6.1 Error failure ( 967): HTTP3068: Error receiving request

Hi I have install Sun web server 6.1 on my T2000 system with solaris 10, the web server run the Siebel CRM application, but it is tooooo slow to bring the first page. Takes about 6.07 sec to bring the login page. The log files of the web server gives me a lot of +"failure ( 967): HTTP3068: Error receiving request"+.

Error While Deploying A Web Dynpro Appln thru NWDS

I am getting an error while deploying a Web Dynpro Application through NWDS.Following is the Exception

Exception is: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NamingException: Exception while trying to get InitialContext. When i give a request for deployment it asks for the SDM password. I enter a valid SDM pwd. If i enter a invalid SDM pwd i get some other exception. So the pwd SDM entered by me is correct.

Hi Nilesh,
Try opening Visual Admin if your not able to login with username(administrator) and password. Problem with NWD2004s do the following steps.
C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\j2ee\configtool->configtool.bat->open it
1. Click on Secure store
2. Right you will find :
admin/password/J2E->retype your admin passowrd which you gave during installation=>SAVE properly
Restart the server and try login visual admin
Deploy now...Other wise see this thread same error solved:

I have checked this error description in ST22 :
What happened?
    The exception 'CX_WDR_RT_EXCEPTION' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere

    the call hierarchy.
    Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
    adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
     'CL_WDR_CLIENT_APPLICATION=====CP' has to be
    terminated.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_WDR_RT_EXCEPTION', was not caught
     and
    therefore caused a runtime error.
    The reason for the exception is:

Looks to me like you are trying to fire a navigation plug within WDDOMODIFYVIEW. According to the rules of the WD Phase Model this is not allowed.

Error while creating my first project on SP15 and why Help doesn't work?

I have a fresh SP15 installtion.
I have 2 problems creating my first webdynpro project.
1.When I go to file-new-project-webdynpro->(enter name)->next , I have windows poped up with the following error:

Plug in id: com.sap.ide.webdynpro.archivebuilder
class: com.sap.ide.webdynpro.archivebuilder.project.WebDynproStandaloneProjectWizard
Method: createJavaProject(IProject, IProgressMonitor)
Message: Problems encountered while setting project description.
Exeption: org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Problems encountered while setting project description.
I am frustrated cause I can't do any step futher...! Is there any special settings on the SDK, Window-Preferences, etc?
2.My Help doesn't work at all - it used to be (with SP11 slim) when i go - 'Help-SAP was docum-SAP webdynpro appl ' and I had my help window poped up.Now I dont have anything!

For your information there's another solution if you don't wanna reinstall your NDS or if the reinstallaion doesn't work.
The error is in the resources so you have to replace some plugin resources to correct the error. Because of that you need access to the resources from somewhere else.
1. Go to c:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Documents\SAP\workspace\.metadata\.plugins and replace org.eclipse.core.resources with a "working" resource
2. Go to C:\Program Files\SAP\JDT\eclipse\plugins and replace org.eclipse.core.resources.win32_2.1.0 and org.eclipse.core.resources_2.1.1 with a "working" resource.
Restart NDS and it ought to work
