I received an error that a data file was missing when closing Adobe Captivate 4.
Now I have lost some of my cpt files. How can I recover the se files
Can I recover these files from the .swf files.
Desperate help needed please.

A decompiler will take your original SWF file can convert back into a working Flash file. One thing to note though is that Captivate SWF files decompiled can look very confusing so please bear in mind that making changes to the Slides (now frames) won't be easy.
If you decide you need to go down this route then you might want to download a trial of the SoThink SWF Decompiler.

We have an appset that consists of four applications and we can't successfully run Data Manager Copy package in one of them. It launches the following tasks: Dump, Convert (execution fails in this step with error "Data file is empty") and Load. SSIS configuration in BIDS is defined by default and we haven't set any parameter.
We have figured out this error appears when we select any member of a dimension in "COPYMOVEINPUT" prompt except for Time dimension. Previously there was a custom Copy package based on standard BPC and it only filters by Time dimension. Perhaps this error is related to application configuration to run custom package.

CF data file missing on FCP project files

Every time I open a saved project file on Final Cut Pro, it says CF data file missing on my FCP project files. Files seem to be in constant frames folder but all black and not highlighting. suggestions?
I was saving things on a MyBook studio external HD. I think earlier as I was working or saving on the external HD it disconnected.
But shouldn't it have all my files still?
I still see all my project files and capture scratches.
Any help or suggestions please?

When I opened the FCP project. It says " CF data file missing CF+ filename here"
So I looked in my Render Files> Constant Frames folder and the files are in there. I tried to open the movie files and play them. When played, they all play back a black screen/nothing in the file? And some have a blue screen that says" unrendered".
So I try to search for the file to connect it back to the project, but when I go to th folder and try to select it. It isn't highlighted, so I can't select it. So they aren't missing.
So I have to press cancel. It seems like I'm not able to edit or work on the FCP project until I have those files connected.

Tp import fails with error "data files not transferred"

Hi colleagues,
I am working on transport requests. I had issued out the tp addtobuffer SIDKxxxx <sid> pf=TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL command for a number of transport requests at OS level; but when i then try to do tp import SIDKxxxxx <sid> client= u18 pf=TP_DOMAIN_sid.PFL, i get this error: "Data files are not transfered" in the QAS system. Everything works fine in PROD though. What could be the reason for this. I can't get it done within the application either.

I guess you have individual transport directories. I f you have configured the Transport Domain and added the Other Two into the Domain and configured the Transport Route. You should be able to see the Some RFC Destinations in SM59.
TMSADM@<SID>.<DOMAIN NAME>
TMSSUP@<SID>.<DOMAIN NAME>
Please check the Test connection. of all these RFC Destination. If these fail check if you have firewall issues between the system stopping the communication on Port 33<Instance No>.

MS Outlook send/receive data file missing

Whenever I open up MS Outlook 2007, I get an error message:
"outlook cannot start because a data file to send and receive mail cannot be found. To add a data file, such as a person folder file, double-click the mail icon in windows control panel."
I have gone through and repaired the office program through add/receive programs and it did not work. Also, I have another computer that has office in my house, and all of the data files are the same - i cant find anything else that is missing. Is there anyone out there that has any ideas on how to fix this problem???

Thne check if you mailbox has been removed, if it has then please try readding including your ms exchange server name
Finish
Try launching Outlook again

Try rebuilding your iTunes Library:
(This will cause all devices to see your library as a "new" library)
1. Open iTunes.
2. File>LIbrary>Organize Library: Consolidate Files.
-This process may take some time.
3. Quit iTunes.
4. Browse to your iTunes Folder.
5. Drag the files to the desktop, but leave the folders in place (folders will be iTunes Media, Album Artwork, Previous iTunes Libraries)
6. Open iTunes.
7. File>Library>Import Playlist.
8. Direct iTunes to import the "iTunes Library.xml" that is sitting on your desktop.
9. Once the process is complete attempt to resync your iPod.

IWeb...error report, files missing??

I'm not sure what's going on...I deleted one of my websites and all of the sudden I began having trouble with all my websites. I have pictures, links to files, and other things missing. Apparently iWeb can't find them.
I did replace iWeb using Time Machine...got everything working perfectly again, and uploaded my websites...no problem! It worked for one day. And then this morning I open iWeb and I have the same error report and it says there are files missing. As I scroll through my websites there are pictures and files missing all over the place. Most are still there but many are not.
The only think I did between it working again and this morning was that I restarted my computer holding command/alt/r/p because I was having airport problems and read that that might help. I don't know why or how that could of affected iWeb.
Other than that...I have no clue what is going on!!!
Any suggestions?

Can not open database - data file missing

I connected to the database as sysdba and issued STARTUP OPEN command.
How can I restore the datafile?
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 32 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 32: 'F:\ORACLE\DATABASE\M23.DAT'
ORA-27041: unable to open file
OSD-04002: unable to open file
O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.

To Issue ALTER TABLESPACE M23 OFFLINE IMMEDIATE, the database should be in OPEN mode.
I couldn't open the database.
What shall I do put it in OPEN MODE?

Changing outlook 2013 contact so they will not receive winmail.dat files - missing settings

trying to change email properties of a contact in outlook 2013 who keeps receiving winmail.dat from one of our guys , trying to get to internet format to change that setting.

but though I can get to properties now, I still do not see Internet Format.
I do not even see it when I create a new contact.

Movie Data Files Missing!!!

Like many times in the past I'm trying to load a DVD Studio project which has had some movie files moved or damaged for one of the assets.
As usual, this now means that the whole project can not be used and won't load. Is there anyway around this?
Is seems like very bad programming for a whole project to be corrupted when simply one asset is damaged or missing. Does anyone else agree?
I've now got to recreate quite a detailed and complex dvd project. Not happy with Apple. Looking for other software.

If you are rendering outside DVD SP, and reencode an asset with the same name, and then open the project again DVD SP will let you know the assets changes, provides you with the option to look at the log and then continues.
If the file is being rendered and not complete then then you will usually get a red warning in the assets bin (and tracks or menus where asset is used) and/or parsing issue

CO-PA transport error, data element missing

We had a error when transporting CO-PA to Q&A because one of the value fields data elements doesn't have a object directory entry (package) assigned, and wasn't included in the transport.RKE2_VV016 doesn't have one, RKE2_VV015 has it, and don't know why this happened.
Any clue on how to generate the directory entry?

We are using EDI X12 over generic exchange. I double checked ecs file and data file. Passing all the mandatory elements. Also checked the delimeters and they match from datafile to setup.
Anyone have faced this error before? We opened a SR with Oracle and they are not able to figure it out. Please help.

To give you a little background I used Spec Generator functionality to create ecs from dat file. Then I did an export to OracleAS Integration B2B format which generated xsd file. I also analyzed (using preprocessor) giving both ecs and dat file and it passed with no errors.
Following your suggestion I now excluded ISA/GS guidelines from the ecs file, exported to xsd and tried to process the dat file, and it gives following error messages now...It doesn't even identify the trading partner now. Please advise. Thanks

I'm trying to get a blog module going, I've even deleted the html insert bog with the tag in and re-published which then I don't get the error but as a result no blog either. But then I add the tag in again and publish the error comes back. I've used the dev console and it says that my musicians sample.css is out of date but why is it only out of date when I add in html to my muse site?

Also I've noticed when I've re-published occasionally it will show the mobile version on my desktop and not the desktop version??? no idea why that's happening so I've had to turn that off. any explanation on why that is happening would also be much appreciated.

I haven't received an answer as of yet, I'll post t on here when I do. I de-activated the mobile site because it's my clients site so he needs it to be operational during the day. I hope someone gives me an answer soon.

Our users were experiencing this problem. It was related to the proxy exception list that our web browsers were using.
In IE6, Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Advanced (Proxy Server Settings) > Exceptions (bottom of screen).
Ensure that these are set correctly, the browser may be trying to look out on the internet for the URL your web deployed application is running on, as it is not in your proxy exception list.
I'd be interested in knowing if this resolves the issue for you, it's worked for us.
