Error DB restore in SAP

I have Full DB Backup File, how can i use this backup file to install fresh sap to recover my data
plz suggest me the steps

Please use the below procedure
1. Execute the below command at source...
Alter database backup controlfile to trace resetlogs; then the control file will be created at /oracle/<SID>/saptrace/usertrace
Rename the control file to control.trc
2. Move the control file (control.trc) to the target system (fresh system)
2.5) Copy the full data as per the backup fileu2026on the target system.
3. Create the control file
SQL>control.trc (Resolve the errors if you get any.....)
4. Once the control file is created
5. Rollforward and open the database.
i) SQL> recover automatic database until cancel using backup controlfile;
ii) SQL> alter database open resetlogs;
Then perform the Post Installation activities....

We have taken the offline backup through BRtools but we have used rman to take the backup in init.SID.sap. We have succeeded in taking the backup of the database and it has saved in .S format. Is your backup got completed succesfully?

File name in msdb.dbo.backupset no longer matches the actual file name on the storage media. Error 3013 Restore Database is terminating abnormally.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, my bad. I inadvertently copied wrong [name] form the msdb.dbo.backupset. On 3/13 and 3/14, the two file names did not match. In trying to select another example to show you this morning, I found that the names are now matching!
What I was doing was to create dynamic t-sql to retrieve the latest prod backup of the database, and then restore it with move to the development server. This is an ad-hoc job that the developers can run by themselves whenever they require a refresh. Unfortunately,
we only keep 3 days worth of backups for these databases, so the original disk file I was trying to use to restore no longer exists. Researching the original error, one of the error descriptions was that the restore could not find the file requested.
I thought this very strange since I get the file name directly from the backupset table. Further research did indeed show that the file names were different, but unfortunately, I failed to save the details of the file names. Anyway, in looking for a new example
to show you this morning, I have found that the file names are indeed matching exactly again. If this error pops up again, I will be sure to save all details and re-post.

Hello,
When I am installing the SAP SAP J2EE add-on for SAP NW XI installation I am getting the follwing error:
CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable /oracle/XID/920_64/bin/sqlplus returns 127.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details
Could some one help me to resolve this error and install the SAP J2EE add-on?

I have restored an analysis database backup to from server 1 (sql server 2008) to server 2(sql 2008) and its working fine
and now am trying to restore another database from analysis server server 3 (sql 2005) to server 2 (sql 2008 )but its giving error that

Error while exporting to SAP QC

In the process of installing TAO. Got successfully to the step of Component Migration but keep getting an error "Error while exporting to SAP QC".
What's funny is if i select only one componeny, i still get the error but the component is created in Quality Center.
Any help would be much appreciated.

for your requirement the application is not exist in particular place. It means, the webdynpro application is saved at different package or different location.
Please change the webdynpro component name and save it in particular request in package, then transport it to quality ..(development server )
then go to SICF t.code .. sap->bc->webdynpro->sap->find out your application and activate the service of your webdynpro application.
Now test it ... this solution might helpful to you .

I spoke to Apple Tech Support. They were very helpfull and resolved the problem. First I was told to put into airplane mode for 15 seconds then go back to problem. That didnt help but apparently this solves lots of network type faults. Next I was told to reset the network that also didn't work. Finally then i was told to Hold both buttons until the screen goes black, when the Apple symbol returns release buttons. When the pad rebooted this cured the problem and i was able to tether again.
It seems you try this first on any faults it will often resolve problems. I've added this in hope that it will help others with any type of fault.

please guide me..i have been trying to install this from so many days and i had no luck at all..
So please help in avoiding this error or tell me the proper steps to install the sap j2ee engine.

actually the problem is i am logging in a company system, which is using a GDNINDIA domain... the installation requires a local admin without any domain..
anyways guys thanks...

Connection to SAPinst could not be established.
