Error DCNM 7.1.1 with MDS 9710

Hi my friends:
Someone could help me with the error Status " No traps" in MDS 9710 ?
This is the file configuration in the MDS:
snmp-server user dcnm-user auth sha Dcnmus3r01 priv Dcnmus3r01
snmp-server host 10.35.1.145 informs version 3 auth dcnm-user
snmp-server enable traps
In the NX-OS form MDS I can not do this configuratión, because the NX-OS not support.
snmp-server source-interface informs mgmt 0
snmp-server source-interface traps mgmt 0

Hello Hans-Peter,
You have correctly identified the issue. DCNM cannot pull the host id of the server in non-English operating systems. I would first try to change the system locale of Windows to 'English (United States)' as a workaround.
Click Start > Control Panel.
Windows 2008: Click Region and Language. ...
Windows 2008: Click the Administrative tab. ...
Under the Language for non-Unicode programs section, select the desired language from the drop down menu.
Shutdown the DCNM services and restart Windows.
Attempt to install the DCNM license again
If the above workaround does not work, then you'll need to reinstall Windows 2008 and select English as the language.
One of those two options should get DCNM's license page to work properly. Please let me know if these steps resolve the issue.

I am working on BPM 11g.
I installed the following products for BPM 11g
OS: Windows 7 SP1 Professional Edition all with 32 bit
Installed s/w:
    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 Generic Version
    OracleXE 11.2 Win32
    ofm soa generic 11.1.1.6.0
    wls 10.3.5
    RCU 11.1.1.6 for schemas dev_soainfra, dev_sdpm and dev_mds - Utility run successfully.
Overall Installation is successful wth no issues.
Configuration of Weblogic server for domain is ok with admin server, soa_server1 and bam_server1 with test connections is ok.
I am using browser as Internet Explorer 9
In Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 after creating application, project and process
From BPM MDS Navigator I configured the connection for Database 11g XE as well using
Override Application Server user/password
For SOA MDS I included the dev_mds user with MDS partition as obpm
tested connections all ok (weblogic and soa_server1 up and running)
In Jdeveloper I am able to export the BPM successfully.
In the BPM Project Navigator when I use the Project --> SalesQuote.jpr --> right clicking with
option as Save to BPM MDS the following error is occured as
"Error while saving BPM Project to MDS: BPM-70801 : Metadata operation failed".
If the error is resolved than I can see the project in BPM composer.
My queries on this error are
1) Has soa_server anything to do with this error
2) Is dev_mds schema to be reviewed
what can be the possibility to resolve the BPM-70801 error.
Please provide the solution ASAP or send me the reply to my [email protected]

Hello Ajaz,
BPM-70801 is a very generic error that can have multiple causes. Please provide the error log from servers log file. From what I understand, you are using a separate soa_server1, so watch out /your_domain/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa_server1.log

Customizing Applications with MDS

I have been investigating static customization using MDS and have read through [Customizing Applications with MDS|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/b31974/customize.htm] (and the seemingly identical copy in JDeveloper's Help Center). However, I have been unable to customize my application because I get this error (some parts have been abbreviated) when starting JDeveloper with the Customization Developer Role:
Error initializing MDS configuration for application "file:/C:/Documents and Settings/..._adf_main.jws". Customizations disabled for this application. MDS-00035: cannot load the class: oracle....uiview.IndustryCC.
The problem is that I do not know how to add the particular class to JDeveloper's classpath as instructed in section 33.2.1.4 of the documentation. I have added my class to JDeveloper's classpath via dropping a .jar into lib/ext of the JRE but then had horrible dependency troubles.
While walking through the documentation, I discovered that Example 33-1 and its surrounding documentation are out-of-date because getIDPrefix() is final in CustomizationClass and thus cannot be overridden as the documentation instructs.
I am using JDeveloper Version 11.1.1.1.0 Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090421.1521.5361.

I will note that the documentation does not have any slashes in its path:

I got it to work after I copied the jar file I had already prepared to:
<JDEVELOPER_HOME>/jdeveloper/jdev/lib/patches/<jar_file_name>

Problems during deploy of an EAR with MDS enabled

I am trying to deploy an EAR with MDS enabled (file-repository) to a WLS cluster, but I get this error:
weblogic.application.ModuleException: :oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException:MDS-01335: namespace "/xliffBundles" mapped to metadata-store-usage "MAR_TargetRepos" but its definition was not found in MDS configuration.
Why does it happen? What should I check/do to solve the problem?
Note that the deploy of the same EAR to the integrated WLS in Jdev works without exceptions.

When i tried to deploy the application using Jdeveloper Deployment Wizard, it prompts me a popup for 'Deployment Configuration' where we need to specify Respository Name, Respository Type, Partition Name, path/JNDI Info. I selected proper values and deployed, the applcation is deployed perfectly and works fine.
But when i try to deploy the application using build.xml file, its error out as show below

When you are invoking your page, does your view object has an empty row where data can go and presist?
Create a an empty row in your view object(vo.createRow()) , or use create operation from data control palette.
You can set the log in Tools->Preferences-->Environment-->Log.

I have not been able to reinstall Acrobat Pro on my laptop. I have Suite 6 Design & Web Premium on my HP laptop. I have Windows 7 operating system. All of a sudden Acrobat Pro will not open so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the program.
The error messages I get are:

Need your assistance on the issue that we are facing in prod environment.
We are able to open web console from remote machine and able to view monitoring pane as well as my workplace folders from console . Able to view and access alerts and other folder in the monitoring pane. We are able to view and access My Workplace folder
and able to view the reports in Favorite Reports folder. But when I click on run Report we are getting the below error "500 Internal Server Error - There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
In our environment we have 3 servers one is SQL server and two are SCOM servers. Please advise how to fix this issue. Do we have to do any thing from SQL End?
Errors: Event ID 21029: Performance data from the OpsMgr connector could not be collected since opening the shared data failed with error "5L".
Event ID 6002 : Performance data from the Health Service could not be collected since opening the shared data failed with error 5L (Access is denied.).

If it's happening consistently, it could be a problem with your local m/cs MS office and/or SAP GUI.
If it was working before:
1) Uninstall SAP GUI and MS office.
2) Install MS Office and SAP GUI...then try to connect to BW.

Occasionally, mid-way through the upgrade, DB permissions to users might change. Check to see, if the users SAP<SID>, OPS$ users have the DBA privilege. Re-assign the role and try continuing with the upgrade.

Bad Performance/OutOfMemory Error in CMP Entity Bean with Large DB

I have an CMP Entity deployed on WLS 7.0
The entity bean maps to a table that has 97,480 records.
It has a finder: findAll() -- SELECT OBJECT(e) FROM Equipment e
I have a JSP client that invokes the findALL()
The performance is very poor ~ 150 seconds just to perform the findAll() - (Benchmark
from within the JSP code)
If more than one simultaneous call is made then I get outOfMemory Error.
WLS is started with max memory of 512MB
EJB is deployed with <max-beans-in-cache>100000</max-beans-in-cache>
(without max-beans-in-cache directive the performance is worse)
Is there any documentation available to help us in deploying CMP Entity Beans
with very large number of records (instances) ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should use a Select Method, it does support cursors.
Or a Home Select Method combination.
